The last day of 2016...

I wish you all the best in 2017~

Next is about the current background of the Han Dynasty and Kushan, as well as the events of King Yan Gaozhen and Ban Chao that I have described.

I had previously added some book reviews, but I noticed that there may be some history I forgot to say.

Let’s talk about the predecessor of the Kushan first. Although there are three statements, they tend to be descendants of the Yuezhi because the Han envoy has clear records, which is not important...

What is important is Yan Gaozhen and Ban Chao. This happened in 90 AD, when Emperor He of Han was the time. Although the Eastern Han Dynasty was often criticized, it was in the most prosperous era of the Eastern Han Dynasty, with a population of nearly 60 million and acres of land.

Of course, the above two are just the paper strength in the Han Book. The next one is very important. Around the previous year, the Han Dynasty achieved the most famous record in Chinese history - Yanran Le Gong, which was also called Le Shi Yanran, carved Yanran stone. This was second only to Fenglang Juxu in ancient times.

The reason why this military achievement is second only to Fenglangjuxu is not that his achievements are inferior to Huo Qubing in terms of military achievements, but the starting point is wrong.

The person who achieved this record was Dou Xian. If this guy was not as famous as he did before, he would be terrible. However, before Yan Ran gave me a merit, he assassinated the Empress Dowager's Xunchen and then blamed Cai Lun. Well, it was the guy who made paper, but he was caught.

This kind of brain-related behavior must be killed. In order to avoid being killed, the Northern Huns were jumping again at that time. Dou Xian decisively stated that he wanted to fight the Huns. Emperor Zhang and the emperor agreed. In fact, this guy was going to avoid disaster.

Because the thing I did was too big at that time, I guess I would be chopped off when I went back. Dou Xian got a big shot and chased the Northern Huns for three thousand miles.

Original text of the Book of Han:

<1> Dou Xian was named Bodu, and he was appointed as a general of chariots and cavalry. He fought with the Northern Shanyu at Jiluo Mountain and defeated him. Xian then climbed Yanran Mountain and went to the blockade for more than 3,000 miles, carved stones to record Han merits and virtues.

<2>The famous king had been killed in the order of 3,000, and more than one million camels were obtained. So Wen cattle, cattle, sheep, stew, camels, etc. He led 81 people including Wen Wu, Fuqu King Liu Feng, and more than 200,000 people. Xian, Bing then climbed Yanran Mountain, went to the submission for more than 3,000 miles, carved stones and earned merits, recorded the power of the Han Dynasty, and ordered Ban Gu to write an inscription.

After doing this, Dou Xian went back, and the Empress Dowager naturally failed to cut him off. She also got a fief of 20,000 households, so as long as you can fight, there is no problem.

In the second year after this year, it was King Yan Gaozhen. Although Yan Gaozhen had a supporting role before, half of the founding country tended to be King Yan Gaozhen.

The previous record in the history of Kings and Han Dynasty was called Qiu Juche, and the history of the world was Gadfisses I. This guy died in 75 AD. His significance was that the Kingdom of Baktria, which was the so-called Greek Kingdom of Central Asia, led the Kushan people out when it was destroyed. The establishment was to coordinate the chaotic religious and cultural conflicts in Central Asia.

After that, Yan Gaozhen came up and fought. Yan Gaozhen was called Sotel Mags (born savior). Later, the new king inherited Yan Gaozhen's name, so he was also Yan Gaozhen, but in fact he was two kings, with their reigns of 80~105 and 105~127 respectively. Ban Chao was the so-called savior...

The reason has been mentioned before, in fact, it is the matter of marrying a princess...

Original text of the history of Han: At first, Yuezhi once helped the Han Dynasty fight the chariot master to make contributions. In that year, he offered treasures, Fu Ba and Shi Zi, so he asked the princess of Han. Chao refused to return the envoy, and thus resented him.

In fact, there is also a reason for this. In the same year, Yanran took the commendation. The Han Dynasty was in a violent state. It was reasonable to refuse. However, the Kushan had already risen at that time, and he refused decisively and started a war...

Original text of the history of Han: In the second year of Yongyuan, Yuezhi sent his deputy king Xie to attack Chao with 70,000 troops. Chao was very scared. Chao said like a soldier: "Although Yuezhi has many soldiers, thousands of miles away from the onion, and there is no transportation. Why worry about evil? But we should collect the grain and hold on. We will surrender it after hunger and poverty. We will only take a few dozen days to decide." Xie Sui attacked Chao before, but he did not leave, and he plundered nothing. When the food was about to be exhausted, he would definitely come from Kucha to seek help, so he sent hundreds of soldiers to ask for help from the Eastern Front. Xie Guo sent cavalry to bribe Kucha with gold, silver, pearls and jade. Chao ambushed the troops and killed them, and held his envoys to show his gratitude to show his gratitude. Xie was shocked and sent envoys to apologize for crimes and wished to return to life. Chao sent them to him. Yuezhi was shocked and made great contributions every year.

Another record is attached: In the first year of Yongyuan of Emperor He, General Dou Xian defeated the Xiongnu. In the second year, Xian sent his deputy captain Yan Pan to cover more than 2,000 cavalry to attack Yiwu. In the third year, Ban Chao then settled the Western Regions and regarded Chao as the guru and lived in Kucha... In the sixth year, Ban Chao defeated Yanqi again, so more than fifty countries were fully subordinated. Their branches rested in peace and the countries as far as the sea was 40,000 miles away, and they all re-translated and contributed.

That is to say, three years after carving the Yanran stone, the entire Western Regions actually knelt down. By six years, resting in peace, and the branches of the Mesopotamia in the further two rivers also knelt down. Therefore, the Eastern Han Dynasty was actually very powerful at that time...
