39. Chapter 39(2/2)

Mu Xue lowered her head and looked at the thin glowing thread that bound her heart.

The puppet's eyes flashed, "Tear it off, tear off this unnecessary thing. From now on, we will be free and live here happily."

Mu Xue stretched out her hand and held the line, as if to a puppet, and as if to herself,

"We are born as human beings and walk the human way. If we really give up everything in the world and stop being human beings, we will never be able to achieve enlightenment and become immortals and demons."

The little puppet was silent, showing a look of regret. The red dragon reluctantly turned its beautiful body in the emptiness, stretched out its head and rubbed Mu Xue's face, gradually turning into red dots of fluorescent light, dissipating in the air.

Between heaven and earth.

Mu Xue fell back to the earth, stood in front of the door glowing with white light, raised her feet and walked through.

Cen Qianshan found himself standing in a muddy market place.

The colorful glass lights overhead were reflected in the dirty water on the street. A boy, stepping on a four-wheeled magic weapon, rushed over the sewage. The mud splashed up caused a lot of yelling and curses on the street.

"It's true, look, it's all over you." The person next to him took out a handkerchief, held his face, and helped him wipe the mud off his face.

Cen Qianshan stared blankly at the red dress in front of him and the crooked smile on his face.

"What are you doing standing still? You don't even recognize Master anymore?" The man smiled and waved to him.

"Hey, newlyweds, why don't you go to the street to show off your honey and oil?" Aunt Niu, the noodle seller, rolled up her sleeves and moved a drawer of steaming white bread onto the counter, teasing them with a smile.

Cen Qianshan choked, and his whole face instantly turned red from bottom to top.

Aunt Niu's son, Dashuai Niu, opened the curtain and came out.

In the memory of Cen Qianshan, he was stubborn to the neighbor's neighbor from a young age, and he actually put on his shoulders in his own kiss.

The master did not refute such strange remarks. Instead, he turned around with a smile, took his hand and walked forward, "Don't pay attention to them, let's go back."

The master's fingers were a little cold and calloused, so he held his palm and squeezed it gently.

That slight movement seemed to pinch his heart, grasping his softest part, forcing him to move forward.

Pure white snow gradually drifted on the road, and the soft world became quiet.

There was only one couple left on the snow, hand in hand and walking slowly forward.

Ahead is a familiar courtyard with warm yellow lights on.

The courtyard gate was locked with a thick iron chain.

The master stopped in front of the door, his red clothes were like fire, and his eyebrows were like paintings.

She stretched out an arm and slowly stroked it down her temples, "Hurry up, open it, I want to go in."

She was so close to him, her eyes were bright, her earlobes were crystal clear, her lips were opening and closing slightly, and Rulan's breath was blowing on her neck.

Cen Qianshan's throat rolled, and he stretched out his hand towards the iron rope, but then tightened his fingers in the air and stopped.

"You have been waiting for me for so long," the master stroked the back of his neck, gently rubbed it, and whispered softly in his ear, "Now I am in front of you. Break these shackles and hug me in.

From now on I belong to you."

Cen Qianshan looked at her intently, his chest rising and falling, his mouth tightened but he did not speak.

"Don't be such a small mountain, be more bold. Let go of your shackles, and you will get me and get unprecedented happiness."

Cen Qianshan grasped the wrist hooked around his neck and slowly pulled her away from his neck, with a trace of reluctance in his eyes.

"Master," he said softly, "sometimes, the difference between people and demons is that there is a bottom line in the human heart. Especially for a person like me, if I am unfettered, I don't know who will come out of this door.

What a devil."

Slowly but firmly he pulled down the arm.

"I'm waiting for you. I'm waiting for the day when the real you is willing to follow me to this door. Open it for me and see what's locked inside."

Cen Qianshan was pulled out of the white light by a soft little hand.

He came back to his senses and found that he had entered the gate of Dongyue Temple.

A little girl was holding hands with him, looking at him with bright eyes and smiling.
