Chapter 463: Shadow's Memory
Roger stood around the corner of the corridor.
When he came to his senses, he found that he was no longer lying on the grass, but standing at a corner at the end of the corridor.
The women around her also disappeared, but the fragrance seemed to be lingering in the air.
The bright moon hangs high in the dark sky, and the moonlight shines through the glazed window above his head on the corridor and on his body.
He was so familiar with this place. The wall behind him was where Anna once discovered the Shadow Gate.
Noisy sounds came to my ears, the shouts of medical staff, the smell of disinfectant, and the breath carried on my body when countless female nurses came in and out.
None of this escaped Roger's perception.
"Anna turns out to be Green's daughter!"
Roger was not sure how everything was presented before, but what he had just experienced was a conversation that Green and Anna had experienced many years ago.
Her mother should be just an ordinary person.
Roger didn't know whether Green was an ordinary person or an extraordinary person who had already emerged.
If it was the former, how did he achieve his rise from scratch in a very short time and become the leader of the Knights of the Round Table?
And if it were the latter, as an extraordinary person, they might be obsessed with the physical body of ordinary women and have relationships with them, but the chance of being able to make a marriage contract and give birth to children is simply pitiful.
So what purpose did Greene welcome Anna's mother and have her own children at that time.
In a sense, Roger prefers the latter.
In previous exchanges, Green's judgment on the gender of the child has already explained many issues.
He knows.
Or, he can know.
Even without controlling this body, Roger could still feel the indifference shown by this body. He stood in the corner with no sorrow or joy on his face.
Listen and feel the childbirth of your wife.
The pain and anxiety were all in him, and the crying of this child at the beginning of his birth did not leave a ripple in his heart.
This is a very cruel guy.
"Sir, Mr. Green!"
"Congratulations, you are already a father!"
A chubby female nurse ran over from the room excitedly, holding a swaddle in her arms, revealing half of the child's cheek.
"I'm a girl, as beautiful as her mother."
Roger wanted to step forward and take a look at Anna when she was in baby, but now his body is Green.
Green didn't move at all, and even the expression on his face did not change at all.
"Don't come over, stand there."
He looked at the baby in the nurse's arms and smiled for the first time.
“Okay, very good.”
"Take her down."
"Please help me inform the kitchen."
Green suddenly spoke.
"I'm very hungry now and want to eat something."
The fat female nurse widened her eyes. She had heard some mothers mention this request, but this was the first time a man made this request.
"What is he going to do?"
Roger had a bad premonition in his heart, and he even felt that it might be a mistake to help Anna find other parts of her body.
Some memories should not be remembered.
Green's initial indifference and the excitement when he saw Anna was too abnormal, and what was even more abnormal was his path to rise.
Roger once asked about Green in the library management of the Knights of the Round Table in Dublin.
But many of the information looks like legends, and there are paradoxes between them.
A living extraordinary person can't find any relevant information in the information, even the most basic part, which is really weird.
This person seemed to appear out of thin air, without a growth trajectory, suddenly reached a height that many people would never reach in their lifetime.
Of course, there have been many people who want to study the secrets behind Green's growth.
But these people, haha...
Time came to night, and Roger found that he was no longer anyone, as if he had become the entire manor, and every corner in the darkness was part of his body.
Yes, these memories do not belong to a certain person, but to every shadow that once existed in this manor.
He saw a little girl climbing up from her sleep in a daze, then walked downstairs like sleepwalking. The whole process, Green, who was sleeping in another room, did not react at all.
The girl came to the first floor and walked through the end of the corridor, where a dark door appeared on the originally empty wall.
There was darkness surging behind the door, and a voice urged, "Open it."
"You can't escape, Green."
“There is a price to pay if you make a promise.”
In a daze, Anna pushed open the door, and the dark energy wrapped her around her, and her body trembled and stepped forward on her right leg.
"Who is the existence behind the door?"
"The other party obviously tracked Green's position through the Shadow World and launched revenge."
While thinking about the problem, Roger did not notice that the surrounding scenery had changed. It should be early in the morning, and servants were adding food to the long table one after another.
A bacon roll, a glass of milk, cheese spread with blueberry sauce and a pancake.
Green was eating breakfast quietly, sitting beside him was a black-haired woman with a slightly round face. Her eyebrows were still thin and her eyes were big and round, but she was less innocent and lively than she used to be.
The murals on the wall hang the inheritors of the family from all generations, and in the most eye-catching position is a family portrait of the three.
When he was young, Green was tall and handsome, and the women around him were also beautiful and charming. Of course, the most important thing was a little girl sitting on a chair between the two.
Anna.
Although it was just a glance from the light, Roger still noticed that Anna, who was sitting on a chair in the portrait, had a blooming daffodil in front of her blocking a part of her body.
One right leg.
"Ms. Liyeta, Miss Anna is losing her temper again..."
A servant hurriedly ran down from the upper floor, and the woman sitting next to Green sighed and put down the food in her hand, "I'll go see her."
From beginning to end, Green maintained a monotonous eating rhythm. He didn't seem to be eating, he was completing some kind of task.
"Anna's right leg?!"
"What happened in this house, or, what did Green do?"
Roger was secretly frightened. He didn't even dare to continue thinking. If one of his inferences was correct, the result would be too cruel for Anna.
Time passed slowly, and everything in the house was still going on, so for the next period of time, Anna did not have any physical incompleteness.
The right leg she lacked seemed to be just an accident. The woman was aging, but Green still maintained her original vitality.
At night, the maid told the story sleepily, then covered Anna with a quilt and left the room gently.
Although Anna in her sleep is young, she has already shown her beauty's potential. Because of the temperature, her face is slightly red, like two seductive apples.
The entire manor became silent, the lights swayed, and a figure suddenly appeared in the room. He looked at Anna who was comfortable, with an unconcealed murderous intent on his face.
"I've been away for so long, why do you still have to follow me?"
"I thought this child was an unexpected gift, but in the end, she turned into my nightmare!"
"You are obviously my child, why do you look exactly the same as that woman!"
The man raised the weapon in his hand and left a cold sentence.
"No! You are not Anna!"
"You are the night!"
