116 Arrival and Calling

The dull horn sounded on the dark rainy night, accompanied by lightning, thunder and heavy rain, a group of people rushed out of the neighboring houses immediately. They dressed wildly, looked rebellious, grabbed their weapons, and rushed out with hideous bodies, as if they were about to kill people without saying a word.

However, when they saw the army thoroughly with the lightning, this arrogance immediately turned into panic.

A squirming panic came, accompanied by a few common words, making it hard to hear what these people were saying.

However, the army does not need to understand it carefully. No matter what it says, it is the enemy in front of you.

So seeing that the other party was running away, the archers surrounding him quickly launched a shooting.

The attacks organized in a hurry were not dense, and the roads in the town did not allow large troops to swarm with each other. Therefore, the vanguard troops were sparsely raining, leaving only a few corpses, making the opponent run faster.

But not everyone was running away. Some savages instead pulled out their weapons and roared and attacked. However, in front of northerners who were more than ten times more than them, this kind of attack was tantamount to hitting stones with eggs.

"Rober!" The sudden scream made Stark, who was sitting quietly on the horse's back, stunned. Then he hurriedly looked carefully and saw a figure in black who was "attacking" clearly, "Jon!"

But then he frowned because Jon in his mouth was being pushed against his neck with a dagger.

The other party said an old savage saying.

"Stop, or I'll kill him now!" The savage who knows the common language next to him followed the translation.

Frowning, but Robb did not hesitate, so the surrounding army paused the attack under his command.

Then the other party continued to yell.

“#¥!@#¥!”

"Give up the way, or I'll cut his neck!" the translator growled, widening his eyes and glanced at the dark heads around him.

However, before the translator finished speaking, the bald savage leader suddenly rolled his eyes and collapsed to the ground with a scream of pain.

The savages beside him were shocked and turned to look, and found behind him, a companion who had just been shot to death pulled out a blood-stained sword from the back of the leader's heart with expressionless expression.

“!#¥!@!”

"Erok? What are you doing!"

"A chameleon raised by a bitch!"

...

Taking advantage of the savages' surprise, the young man in black robe hurriedly left them and ran towards Robb's side. Fortunately, the leader was killed by his "his own people" and no one had time to pay attention to him. However, the consequences caused by the savages were indeed unbearable.

Seeing the hostages safe, the army attacked again under the heavy rain. Some savages fled in the chaos, while others resisted bravely. Unfortunately, although these savages seemed to be so, they fought in battles without any rules and could not resist the orderly attacks of the northerners.

So the battle ended soon after, and the fleeing soldiers naturally went to chase, while those who resisted were all killed.

Not many prisoners were captured.

"Erok, thank you." After the battle ended, Jon Snow, wearing the night watchman's black robe, walked to the savage who stabbed the savage leader to death and whispered to thank him.

As a result, the other party only gave him an expressionless look, without any response. This made Jon a little confused, but after a while, someone whispered a few words to him.

So the Stark family illegitimate son, who had lived with the savage for a long time and had basically left the right track, couldn't help but stare at the "walking zombies" who were no different from ordinary people for a long time.

Finally, at Robb's reminder, he looked at the young man standing under the eaves not far away to hide from the rain, walked forward and thanked awkwardly.

The other party smiled at him, looking very kind, which made Jon doubt what he had just heard...

After the battle, some of the chasing troops were eliminated, and the remaining people quickly "camped" around the ruined houses around the surrounding houses under the command of Robb. The warm bonfire was lit. The heavy rain made the town, which had been abandoned for countless years, quickly turn brightly lit.

...

"I separated from the commander-in-chief and the others at the ancestors' fist peak, and carried out the mission with the Broken Palm Colin of the Shadow Tower, and then I... by the way, how is my father?"

"My father is very good. He was talking about you before he came..."

In the room where the leader of the savages was located, the two brothers hugged each other excitedly and expressed their feelings to each other. However, before saying a few words, the brown-haired and gray-eyed Jon suddenly said hurriedly: "Hurry, go to Black Castle, Mans Red and his 100,000 savages are about to arrive at the Great Wall!"

Shire had already said the news about the 100,000 savages before, but everyone, including himself, did not expect the savages to be so fast, so Robb looked solemn when he heard this message.

"You have to tell your father!"

I didn't think it was like this at first, but I didn't expect that the situation was so urgent. Although it was impossible for 100,000 savages to be all soldiers who could fight, at least 20,000 to 30,000 can be fought.

"However, with the Great Wall here, they can't actually hit the target for a while." Jon, thinking about something, added in a low voice, subconsciously looking towards the captive. As a result, he attracted anger, especially one of the short red-haired savages, who had been staring at him with fierce eyes.

This seemed to hurt Jon, his tone became depressed unconsciously.

...

The army rested here for one night that day, and then the rainstorm stopped the next day. They left the ruins of the town and returned to King's Avenue to continue their journey.

As the army approached, the Great Wall in sight became larger and larger. The ancient ice wall that shone brightly in the sun looked beautiful at this moment, and it was simply intoxicating to look at it.

But what comes with it is a colder climate.

The northerners may not feel it, but Charles couldn't help but tremble. Finally, he had to wear another white bear-skin cloak outside his black robe, which made him feel better.

On the night after leaving the town, they rested for a night in a semi-underground village called Mole Village, which is not far from the Black Castle.

After the camp was launched early the next day, not long after the Great Wall Night Watcher's base camp, where the Black Castle was located, was faintly caught in sight.

Under the snow, the building at the end of the road ahead does look dark. But if it were a castle, it actually doesn't look like it at all.

Because it does not have the walls that the castle should have, but instead only has a circle of wooden fences.

Several vertical black stone spires stand tall with their heads raised, surrounded by wooden fortresses. They look quite ancient and vicissitudes, but against the backdrop of the towering ice walls, they only appear small and insignificant.

Looking closer, the Great Wall looked up and couldn't see it. Under the frozen shadow, a group of people were standing at the entrance of the castle, looking forward to it. The Winterfell army rushed here, and naturally they would send people to march urgently to inform.

Most of this group of people were old, and the leaders even looked a little trembling when walking, which made many northern soldiers very surprised.

The Night Watcher is a legendary organization at least, established for thousands of years, with glorious history and honors, but now it seems that it has fallen to its extreme.

"Commander-in-Chief Mormont took all the Rangers out to patrol. Now there are only more than 200 people in the Great Wall, and they are all officials and craftsmen. There are basically no one who can fight."

Jon whispered.

The number of people represents the number of empty houses. After the army of more than a thousand people arrived, they were quickly placed without any pressure.

Charles and his carriage were arranged in a spire called King's Tower. They arrived in the morning, but because of the special things, his books were transported for a while, so after everything was done, it was already afternoon.

There is nothing to rush to do after that.

He doesn't need to be in charge of the arrangement of defense and dealing with the savages, and he has his own local night watchman to discuss with Robb.

When he arrived at the new place, Charbon planned to go to the library here to search for information about the White Walkers, but before he could do this, a loud call suddenly came from his ears.

"Please ask the great seven gods to bless Daenerys to everything in Quels, and please bless Daenerys to successfully obtain the support of the Immortal Palace and the Male Witch..."
