8 Spell Backlash
A thin and hard dead bone claw clutched Shire's neck tightly. He could only scream and was pinched to speak.
He grabbed the hard dry bone wrist and tried hard to spread it apart. He kept kicking his legs, but he couldn't break free from this terrifying monster!
The dry bones sank tightly into the flesh and blood of his neck, five purple sanks were revealed, and a bloody white bone face approached the young man and roared at him silently and ferociously.
Its power is very strong, but Charles' weight is not too heavy, so it is very visually impacted. He was lifted out of thin air by the "skinny" monster, and no matter how hard the prey struggles, it is as unmoved as a mountain.
At this moment, another skeleton appeared in Charles' sight. It grabbed an iron hammer and hit the blood skeleton's head from the side. With a loud bang, it made its head tilt involuntarily and its hands relaxed.
Taking advantage of this opportunity, Charles kicked hard, stepped on the pelvis of the dry bones, and suddenly broke free from the bone hand that was pinching his neck, and then staggered and fell to the ground not far away.
Seeing this, the blood skull grinned and wanted to chase him, but was entangled by Skeleton No. 1. Shir gasped and watched all this, slowed down, and then hurriedly picked up a long sword in his hand to get up to support him.
However, seeing that the situation was not good, the blood skull kicked Skeleton No. 1 and suddenly turned around and ran towards the stairs. Its speed was very fast and its bounce was OK. It disappeared at the end of the stairs in a few breaths.
At this time, Ed happened to arrive. His bloody terrifying cheeks made him subconsciously feel a little thrilled. He was hesitating whether to stop this thing, but the skeleton jumped up and rushed towards him with a ferocious look on his face.
So Ed waved the sword in his hand and accurately hit the temple of the skeleton's brain. The sword was very powerful and directly slapped the skeleton to the wall. With a thud, it bounced and fell on the stone stairs.
The skeleton struggled on the ground for a few times and then stood up again. However, this time it did not start attacking again, but instead slapped the enemy for a moment. Then, under Ed's stunned gaze, he quickly drilled out along the gap next to him and ran towards the other side of the corridor frantically.
Ed didn't stop it because he still couldn't figure out what was going on.
"Your skeleton is out of control?"
Shire, who was covering his neck, walked to Ed's side with a cough and heard him ask.
"That's right." Charles said in a sour tone, and a black and purple bloody handprint was pinched out of his neck, which seemed to hurt his throat.
"Facts have proved that I can only control such a skeleton, and if there are too many, it will be backfired."
"Will it attack you crazy?"
"No, he might attack any living life crazily." Charles said with lingering fear. He was almost strangled to death by the bone rack just now!
The two looked at each other for a while and were speechless. Ed didn't know what to say, and Charles was the same.
Things happened very quickly. After he arrived at the last level, he successfully used a spell to evoke the skeleton from the corpse. However, it was completely different from what he imagined. After the skeleton appeared, it actually began to attack him!
Because he was not prepared at all, Charles was attacked by it in a careless manner. If Skeleton One had not been rescued in time, things would have developed into the worst case.
This gave him a profound lesson - when you don't know much about spells, don't try to make a death decision, it will really kill people!
"It seems that this plan cannot be continued." Ed's tone was regretful or relieved.
"No, this has no effect on the plan." Shire covered his neck and grinned: "It will attack living people, so let it attack. You saw it just now. As long as you knock it back, it will not haunt us again!"
"So you're going to put this thing on it and create chaos?"
"Of course." Charle nodded, thinking Ed would question it, but found that he had not said anything, so he couldn't help asking: "Don't you object?"
"This kind of disgusting method is by no means human," Ed said, looking at the slaughterhouse-like condition in the basement behind him, and his eyes couldn't help but twitching: "So I still object, but I think it's a good idea to let this monster go out and create chaos."
As he said that, he added as if he was persuading himself: "Look, it has a certain wisdom and is quite cunning. If we can't beat us, we will run away. This characteristic is very beneficial for creating chaotic scenes."
"So." Charles raised his eyebrows at him, and the meaning was self-evident.
Sighing, Ed turned around and was invisible.
So with the sound of skin tearing, blood-colored skeletons broke out from their original body. Under the guard of the vigilant Shire and the sword master Ed, these monsters were driven upstairs one by one by one by one by one. In the end, there was no intact corpses in the basement, and the bloody scene was like hell coming.
There were four corpses in total. After casting the spell, the two hurriedly "run" away. Because Ed moved very slowly, Charles simply carried him on his back. Skeleton No. 1 followed them quietly.
When they came upstairs, they did not find four skeletons except for the blood-colored footprints on the ground. When they passed by a prison door, they found the red handprints left by the dead bones from the old wooden door.
"They certainly didn't knock on the door and ran upstairs."
Charles said excitedly, so he couldn't wait to rush to the upper floor.
The same is true on the upper floor. After climbing up, Charles only saw a skeleton running towards the upper floor. In addition, there were panic screams in the cell, which penetrated the wooden door, dull and full of horror.
Many people were imprisoned in this cell, and their doors were different from those of Ed. There were iron windows on the door. Although they were narrow, they could see what was knocking on the door just now!
That was the most terrifying scene they had ever seen!
"Mr. Ed, it's Master. Ed!"
"Help, sir, please save me!"
"Don't go up, there are dead people!"
When passing by a door, many prisoners screamed. Ed, who was behind Shire, was a little embarrassed and hesitant, but Shire obviously had no intention of stopping and ran upstairs quickly.
So Ed sighed and threw away the prisoners' requests from old friends or enemies.
Blood footprints spread upwards, and Charles followed these footprints and finally arrived at the top of the dungeon. As soon as they emerged, everything that happened made Charles subconsciously smile.
This is a large hall with a large area, generally round and an iron railing cell on the edge of the arc. In the center of the hall, several wooden beds and tables silently tell the treatment of the prison guards here.
As he had explored before, there were only four guards and a drink-pourier in this area. Now they were running around in horror in the hall to avoid the crazy dead bones.
They had no idea of resisting at all, which made Charles slightly excited, but Ed suddenly shouted softly behind his back.
"Be careful in front of the left! He is ready to pull the alarm and stop him with your skeleton!"
