324 Do You Have a Favorite Actor?

I took time to check out some information about the three companies with Scott and the entire team, and also got the simplest understanding of the Korean entertainment industry.

The day after arriving in Seoul, Ronan met with the heads of three companies under the introduction of Alex.

Compared to the first meeting with Takuya Matsuhara in Tokyo, the atmosphere of this meeting was quite harmonious.

"Mr. Anderson, I heard that your Pacific Foundation has successfully raised funds in the island country?"

The two sides exchanged a few greetings and after learning about the relevant situation, Kim Young-min, the president of SM Entertainment, went straight to the topic: "Don't you know if you still need to invest?"

As soon as this question arises, Kim Myung-ha of B2m and Park Chang-ji of Up Film and Television Entertainment also look at Ronan together.

Ronan did not feel contempt or arrogant because the other party took the initiative, and said calmly: "The Pacific Film Foundation welcomes every investor."

Jin Minghe smiled and said, "b2m has always been interested in investing in Hollywood and hopes that we will cooperate organically."

Before Ronan could speak, Park Changji said again: "Hollywood is the center of film around the world, and there are many advanced experiences worth learning from."

These three companies often cooperate and have reached an agreement on investing in the Pacific Film Foundation. Since the news that long-term credit banks have invested in the Pacific Film Foundation by long-term credit banks have invested in the Pacific Film Foundation by hundreds of millions of dollars, they value this investment even more.

Although they don’t like islanders, they know very well that after experiencing the economic crisis in the late 1980s and early 1990s, investment institutions in island countries have become cautious iron roosters. If the financing party is not credible and can obtain stable returns, long-term credit banks will never reach an investment agreement with the Pacific Film Foundation.

Ronan doesn't mind accepting more investments. The three companies on the other side have a strong desire to invest in Hollywood, and the negotiations between the two sides went very smoothly.

After introducing the basic situation, Ronan appropriately revised some of the words he said to Takuya Matsuhara at that time. Whether it was a stable film investment channel or a third-party guarantee from Allianz Group, it made the South Korean side more at ease about cooperation.

In just over an hour, the negotiations between the two parties have entered the actual financing amount stage.

Kim Young-min tentatively said: "We are entertainment companies, and we are not as good as investment institutions like long-term credit banks." He was a little worried that Ronan would not look down on the funds they had after the successful financing: "We will not have much investment."

Having said that, Ronan simply asked: "How much can you invest?"

Kim Young-min roughly said: "There are tens of millions of dollars."

Ronan looked at the other two again, Kim Myung-ha and Park Chang-ji said one after another: "Our situation is similar."

"It's okay." Ronan said very sincerely: "The Pacific Film Foundation and Relativity Entertainment Group welcome every partner."

Kim Young-min said with a smile: "We also hope to establish stable cooperation channels with you."

Ronan responded with a smile, and it can be seen that this temporary investment alliance should be led by Kim Young-min.

The two parties quickly reached a cooperation intention, which was enough for the company's head level. The remaining issues such as investment amount and investment income will naturally be left to the people below to take responsibility.

The talk was so smooth, which was a bit beyond Ronan's expectations.

But thinking about Hollywood's position in the entertainment industry around the world, it seems normal to make sufficient preparations for this financing journey and to reach a precedent for financing with long-term credit banks.

After all, Hollywood's influence in South Korea is much greater than that of island countries.

"Mr. Anderson, about this cooperation..." Kim Young-min looked at Kim Myung-ha and Park Chang-ji, and suddenly said: "We have a few small requests."

This was very polite, but it aroused Ronan's alertness and sighed in his heart. Financing was indeed not that easy.

"Please say." Ronan said calmly.

If South Korea makes any non-subsidy requests, this financing may cause many twists and turns.

Kim Young-min tentatively said: "Mr. Anderson has an excellent film company like Shahai Entertainment. He will shoot many film and television works in the next few years. I wonder if Asian actors are needed?"

Hearing this, Ronan roughly guessed their intentions and said: "Hollywood is becoming more and more international, and the same is true for Shahai Entertainment's movies. In this era, if a movie wants to achieve a global market strategy, it needs to cooperate with outstanding film talents from all over the world."

Kim Young-min understood what this sentence meant and specifically confirmed: "If you need a Korean actor, you can contact us at any time."

Ronan nodded: "No problem. Actually, some of my projects require a lot of Asian actors."

This is nothing at all. The roles of Asian characters in ordinary supporting roles have little impact on choosing which actors they are.

Kim Myung-ha and Park Chang-ji looked at each other and saw the smiles on each other's faces.

The Korean entertainment industry is different from island countries. If celebrity actors can go to Hollywood to gilt, their value will inevitably rise sharply. The biggest beneficiary is their agency companies.

Ronan is also looking for some more stable partners in some of the most important film markets in Hollywood in appropriate ways.

In some businesses, local tyrants can play a big role.

Hollywood is indeed the leader in commercial films around the world, but it is far from being able to ignore peers in other countries.

The two sides reached a consensus on the general direction, and the initial negotiation came to an end. Kim Young-min, Kim Myung-ha and Park Chang-ji sent a lunch invitation to Ronan. After receiving Ronan's affirmative reply, he temporarily left the hotel's reception room.

When he arrived at the temporary lounge, Park Changji breathed a sigh of relief and said, "I didn't expect it to be so smooth."

"The investment problem is not big, after all, it is a win-win situation." Jin Minghe was still a little worried: "Ronan Anderson agreed with the actors, but this kind of thing can only be promised and cannot be implemented in the contract at all. Will he really cooperate with us?"

Kim Young-min said slowly: "I have entrusted friends from the United States and island countries to inquire about Ronan Anderson and some of his situation when he was in the island country. Ronan Anderson has a very good reputation in the United States and has the highest reputation rating in the banking field. It is said that he will not make promises to others easily, and will fulfill it once the promise is made."

Park Changji nodded slightly: "I think the credibility is very high, and this is not a difficult task for him."

Jin Minghe was still worried: "Don't forget that this matter has no benefit to Ronan Anderson and his company. Can you do something that is not good? How can you do it positively?"

Kim Young-min suddenly laughed: "Who said there is no benefit? This matter seems to be no profit. Can't we create some benefits for Ronan Anderson?"

"It makes sense." Park Changji said.

Jin Minghe understood what he meant and asked, "Are you sure Ronan Anderson will like it? Don't backfire."

Kim Young-min is very confident: "My friend in Hollywood is also a small producer. He told me that Ronan Anderson has a close relationship with some supermodels and female stars. This time he went to the island country to raise funds. It is said that the island country's colleague Kazuo Inoue provided Ronan Anderson with a beautiful female star who had just become popular."

Park Changji slapped his palm: "Since he's good at this, that's too simple."

They are familiar with such public relations.

Jin Minghe was relatively cautious and said, "When we invite him to have a meal at noon, we should first try it out. And we also need to understand the types of his preferences, otherwise..."

Kim Young-min answered, "Okay, that's it."

Back at the presidential suite he moved into, Ronan told Scott about the general situation. Of course, Scott led the negotiation team to be responsible for the specific negotiations later.

Then, he turned on his laptop and processed the work email in his mailbox.

Seeing that the time was almost the same, Ronan came to a luxurious restaurant on the second floor of the hotel as agreed.

The atmosphere of previous negotiations was continued and the meal was quite harmonious. Several people talked about some interesting things in the American and Korean entertainment circles. Since they could speak fluent English, the communication was quite smooth.

The topic gradually shifted to the outstanding film and television works of the United States and South Korea.

Jin Minghe asked tentatively: "Mr. Anderson, the Korean film and television industry has developed rapidly in recent years, and some have been released to North America. I wonder if you have paid attention to it?"

Luo Nan replied casually: "I have seen some."

"Oh? I didn't expect that Mr. Anderson also likes Korean works." Kim Young-min answered in a timely manner: "Do you have any works or actors you like very much?"

As soon as these words were said, Ronan realized that something was wrong. What did the other party want to do when he sang together?

To be honest, he is really not very familiar with Korean film and television works. At best, he only knows the most famous ones.

But Ronan soon thought of his experience in the island country, and then thought about the messy things in the Korean entertainment industry exposed in his previous life, and he instantly had speculation in his heart.

Ronan seemed to be inadvertently said: "There are indeed several works that I like. For example, "Blue Life and Death Love" and this year's "My Savage Girlfriend", the performances of two heroines are impressive."

Park Changji frowned unconsciously. This is not an ordinary little actor...

"That's it." Kim Young-min smiled: "These two are indeed one of the few high-quality stars in South Korea in recent years."

Ronan nodded: "If the North American copyright of these two works is still there, I want to introduce them to the North American market."

The lunch ended in a friendly and harmonious atmosphere. Ronan said goodbye and left, and the other three sat at the dining table to discuss what to do next.

"Did he understand what we mean?" Jin Minghe asked.

Kim Young-min did not answer, but said directly: "I will be responsible for Jeon Ji-hyun."

Jin Minghe shook his head and said, "Song Hye Kyo is handed over to me."

Kim Young-min looked at Park Changji: "You are also partners and recipients. You can't just look at them, right? You must always express your sincerity."
