442 [Get the script]

Kang Jianfei threw the script to Xu Ke and asked with a smile: "After your opinion, you have made major changes. Now you should be satisfied, right?"
"This script is very good." Xu Ke grinned, revealing two rows of untidy teeth.
In fact, the script of "New Shushan Swordsman" last year was not written by Xu Ke, but he provided the plot framework for the DreamWorks screenwriter department to create. Xu Ke's own screenwriter skills are not as good as Gao Zhisen.
The final version of the script "Shushan" has been written for more than four months, and has gathered the efforts of more than ten people, including Kang Jianfei and Xu Ke.
First of all, the plot structure is much larger than the original time and space "New Shushan Swordsman". Of course, because the plot of the original novel is too complicated, there must be many major changes in the editing of the movie script.
For example, in the original work, the female disciple Yu Yingnan of Emei was changed to the male lead by Kang Jianfei, while Lee Yingqiong and Yu Yingnan were in love with each other's senior sister-in-law relationships.
As he was preparing to film the "Shushan" trilogy, the villain in the first part was set as "Blood God Son" Deng Yin (that is, Ding Yin in film and television works). Deng Yin was originally a junior brother of Changmei Zhenren, but was expelled from the school for violating the rules of the sect. He accidentally obtained a magic book "Blood Nerve" and became a demon.
The general plot is that the weak scholar Yu Yingnan went to Beijing to take the exam and stayed in a dilapidated temple overnight. He happened to meet Deng Yin, who was expelled from his master. He accidentally opened the mechanism under the Buddha statue, allowing Deng Yin to obtain the magic cultivation technique "Blood Nerve".
Deng Yinben and Yu Yingnan hit it off at first sight, and the two chatted very happily. Deng Yin was so powerful that he wanted to suck Yu Yingnan's blood to practice the magic attack, but was saved by Li Yingqiong who went down the mountain to train. When Deng Yin was expelled from the sect, his skills were almost wiped out, so he could not beat Li Yingqiong, who was a fledgling cottage.
The chivalrous girl Li Yingqiong had a secret relationship with scholar Yu Yingnan. Then Yu Yingnan joined the Emei Sect and became a disciple of Master Yuan Yuan, and became a junior brother of the same school with Li Yingqiong.
When Yu Yingnan achieved some success in his practice, the two went down the mountain to be a hero, but found that the people in a certain town were slaughtered by the blood cultivation technique. Deng Yin, who had become the son of the blood god, was defeated in a mess and could only rely on the magic weapon given by the master to escape in a panic.
Yu Yingnan couldn't calm down because it was his unintentional mistake that allowed Deng Yin to obtain "Blood Nervous", so he decided to end Deng Yin with his own hands.
After that, the male and female protagonists naturally had adventures all the way. In the process of various monster-fighting and upgrading, they met many righteous friends. In addition, Li Yingqiong set up a purple-green sword in Mangcang Mountain, and Yu Yingnan also obtained the magic weapon Nanming Lihuo Sword. In the end, a group of friends worked together to kill Deng Yin, the blood god son, and Yu Yingnan and Li Yingqiong finally became a fairy couple.
In order to cater to the audience's taste, there are naturally some love triangles in the film, but those are secondary and do not focus too much during shooting.
In fact, the plot of the script is not very complicated, but the fun is much better than Xu Ke's "New Shushan Swordsman", and the rhythm is completely a blockbuster model from later generations, which will make the audience feel happy from the beginning.
As for the second part of the "Shushan" trilogy, it depends on the box office status of the first part before deciding whether to invest. However, the villain in the second part has been tentatively designated as the Green Robe Ancestor.
Xu Ke was originally afraid that the script would be written as a four-way character, but now he is extremely satisfied, at least much better than the script he took out before. Of course, Xu Ke still has many changes to the script, especially when filming, it will make slightly modifications according to the situation, but the direction of the big plot will not change.
"You choose the actors yourself," said Kang Jianfei. "The actors who signed the film contract last year remained unchanged, but don't look for those who terminated the contract like Zheng Shaoqiu and others. You will decide which actors you change."
"I understand." Xu Ke nodded, but was thinking about which actors were suitable.
The heroine Lee Young-Qiu is naturally starring Li Saifeng. This was agreed last year. Zhao Yazhi plays a senior fairy, but he is unsure about the candidates for the male lead and villain.
Xu Ke thought about it and suddenly said, "I am going to let Liu Songren play the role of the villain Deng Yin."
Kang Jianfei nodded and said, "Liu Songren is very good. Among the Hong Kong actors, he is still very chivalrous. It depends on whether he can lead Deng, who has become a demon, to liven up."
"As for the male protagonist Yu Yingnan," Xu Ke tapped his finger and said, "What do you think of Zhang Guorong?"
Kang Jianfei was still very satisfied with Zhang Guorong's image as a scholar, but it was hard to say that he would play a swordsman, so he said, "Call him here and try it out."
The candidates for the male lead have already become interested, and the remaining supporting roles are much easier. Hui Yinghong and Hui Tianci can play important supporting roles, and a group of students from the training class can also be brought in and made their debut.
After more than half an hour of discussion, Xu Ke finally left with the script with satisfaction, and Yu Kanping followed and walked into the office again.
After signing Wang Kuanxian, Yu Kanping had been filming for the past few months. He specially created an urban romance film "Love in Taipei". The protagonist of the movie is Liu Wenzheng, the superstar of the Taiwanese music scene. The box office is mainly in Taiwan and Southeast Asia. This kind of film cannot be sold at any price in Hong Kong.
"The film "Love Taipei" has been released, how is it selling?" Kang Jianfei asked casually. He didn't have much hope for this Taiwanese romance film. As long as it doesn't lose, it's enough. It's mainly to allow Wang Shuxian to accumulate more experience in filming.
Yu Kanping sighed: "The box office of more than NT$11 million has basically recovered the cost, and we should be able to make some achievements in Nanyang."
Kang Jianfei did not blame Yu Kanping, but said: "Taiwanese local films cannot be sold, and it is good to have a box office of over 10 million."
In addition to serving as the general manager of DreamWorks Taiwan Branch, Yu Kanping also handled other matters - such as contacting Taiwanese film dealers, giving filial piety money to the Taiwan News Bureau, etc.
After talking about Wang Tuxian's incident, Yu Kanping suddenly said: "Jin Chaoqun probably won't come to Hong Kong to film. He just wrote a letter of regret in the News Bureau. The day before yesterday, Jin Chaoqun invited me to dinner in Taipei and asked me to say sorry for him. He would pay off the penalty for the sequel to "Bao Qingtian" and sell his house, but he really couldn't continue filming."
When "Bao Qingtian" was first filmed, it was banned by the Taiwan authorities and could not be sold into the Taiwan market at all. It was sold to Guangdong/Dong TV a few months ago, and it quickly set off a wave of Bao Qingtian. It was then broadcast on more than 20 mainland TV stations one after another, becoming the most popular TV series in the mainland this year.
Hong Kong's Wen Wei Po published the popular broadcast of "Bao Qingtian" in the mainland, praising the TV series for its excellent filming, but was targeted by the people of the Hong Kong branch of Taiwan's Central News Agency. The TV series was clearly filmed by the DreamWorks TV Production Department, but Phoenix Channel was shot while lying down and was besieged by many right-wing newspapers in Hong Kong.
As for the male lead actor Kim Chaoqun, under the threat of the Taiwanese authorities, he went back to write a letter of repentance. He may not be able to film in Hong Kong within a few years.
"The News Bureau has not made things difficult for DreamWorks films, right?" Kang Jianfei asked. This was what he cared about the most.
Yu Kanping shook his head and smiled, "No, the News Bureau and the Third Young Master have paid tribute every year, and the Bamboo League has paid dividends, and the black and white gang has been dealt with in place. As long as there is no big problem, the News Bureau will definitely turn a blind eye."
Taiwan's administration is not easy. Although President Chiang, the current leader, advocates integrity and frugality, and sets an example, the officials below are lip service. Even President Chiang's sons make money better than the other. It is really not a waste to send so much money to the News Bureau every year.
Just like this time, "Bao Qingtian" filmed by DreamWorks TV Production Department, it was found that it became produced by Phoenix Channel, mainly because the News Bureau was to preserve DreamWorks' wealth.
Kang Jianfei suddenly thought that if Xu Ke's "Shushan" was released, it would probably be that the Taiwan authorities would really ban DreamWorks.
In fact, Kang Jianfei is not afraid of losing the box office in Taiwan, but is afraid of the chain reaction caused by the ban on the Taiwan authorities. The reason why he chose to cooperate with the mainland is mainly because Kang Jianfei is a time traveler and knows the future direction.
In fact, it’s not just Kang Jianfei, anyone with a normal mind should know how to choose.
In the parallel space, after the Chinese-British negotiations were in place, many right-wing newspapers in Hong Kong announced the suspension of publication, which was considered as those bosses who left a way out for their future. However, Shaw Yifu stopped Shaw's production business a few months after the Sino-British negotiations ended, and while turning his energy to TVB development, he also turned to the Celestial Government, and donated tens of millions of dollars to the mainland every year to help students.
Jiang Zhiqiang's brother Jiang Zhiwen invested in the joint construction of Nanguo Cinema with the mainland in the second year after the Sino-British negotiations, laying a political foundation for the future rise of Anle Cinema.
Anyway, after confirming that Hong Kong will return in 1997, smart people in Hong Kong know how to hold on.
The funniest thing is that after the ban on Taiwan was lifted, Taiwanese investors could not go directly to the mainland to invest in filming, so they invested their funds in Hong Kong companies, and then the Hong Kong director went to the mainland to shoot filming, and then took it back to Taiwan for filming.
Probably since 1988, the film cooperation model of Taiwanese businessmen paying money, Hong Kong buyers, and mainland show off has started to run smoothly.
Yu Kanping came here this time to report the situation of the Taiwan branch to Kang Jianfei. The branch invested in two movies this year, one barely recovered, and the other one lost more than NT$1 million.
This situation proves that Taiwanese local movies are really beyond help. No wonder the Taiwanese branch of Xinyi City will stop production and will break up with Zhang Aijia for Mecca. The main reason is that Taiwanese movies cannot make money.
"Dingling..."
After Yu Kanping left, Zhao Yazhi's phone number was directly transferred by his secretary: "When is it? You are still in the company and don't leave!"
"Come now, wait for me first." Kang Jianfei hung up the phone and went out, and Zeng Bolin hurriedly followed.
Chapter completed!
