Chapter 1176 Dragon Cliff

The Emerald City is preparing intensively for the Royal Navy's counterattack.

Zhang Tuohai also drove the White Bird to Scallop Island.

Scallop Island is just a small island, with a population of less than 10,000. Most of them are fishermen, and the rest are merchants on merchant ships.

Regarding Scallop Island, Zhang Tuohai was too lazy to find out what was available and simply asked Moriel to fly to the sky above Scallop Island on Alduin.

Seeing the giant dragon hovering in the sky, the people on Scallop Island recalled the years when they were controlled by Longya, and quickly took out the etiquette of the time when Longya controlled them to welcome Moriel.

Following Zhang Tuohai's example, Moriel immediately followed suit and captured the shadow governor and financial officer sent by the empire on Scallop Island, and asked the aborigines on Scallop Island to accept the certificates of vote one by one.

Then the corpse was hung to tell the world, and the flag was changed to show Longya's return.

Under the pressure of the dragon, Zhang Tuohai and Moriel were unstoppable, conquering twelve city-states in three days and restoring most of Longya's power.

But this momentum stopped on Ironborn Island.

Ironborn Island had few resources, was desolate and poor, and was originally on the fringes of Dragon Cliff's sphere of influence. It just happened to be within the territory and they occupied it directly without much control.

The only thing that counts as a resource on Ironborn Island is the people. Because of their bravery in fighting, they are called Ironborn.

After being included under the rule of the Empire, the Empire took a fancy to the Ironborn's combat capabilities and specially organized and trained an infantry regiment with the Ironborn as its foundation and core, plus several mercenary regiments.

This became the Ironborn's largest source of income.

Therefore, when they saw the dragon coming, the ironmen did not change their banners, but instead raised their weapons and prepared to resist.

"What should I do?" Looking at the ironmen below with spears from the air, Moriel didn't know what to do.

It has always been smooth sailing, but unexpectedly it hit a snag here.

"Since I have enjoyed greater benefits in the empire, I naturally won't think about the past." Zhang Tuohai said calmly.

"If it's normal times, there are many ways to deal with it. You can put it aside, you can give profits, you can invest in improving their lives, and make them feel that they are better under our rule than under the empire, and they will naturally turn to us."

"It doesn't cost a single soldier, it just requires time and money."

Zhang Tuohai said calmly.

"It's a pity that what we lack most now is time. The news of Longya's return has spread. Everyone is waiting and watching, wanting to see how you do it. If an ironborn stops us, we will give up.

If you don't care about it, then everyone will no longer be afraid of us, and they will secretly collude with the empire and betray you in exchange for a chance to survive."

"Aren't they afraid of dragons? Aren't they afraid of my revenge?" Moriel asked.

"That's the crux of the problem. If a Tie Ming can stop you, what else do they have to be afraid of?"

"So, it's not that we are cruel, it's that the Ironborn appear where they shouldn't."

Zhang Tuohai said.

"Iron-blooded power or a loose federation that seems to be in harmony but is inseparable from each other, it depends on your choice."

Zhang Tuohai said.

"I see!"

Moriel clutched Alduin's scales with both hands.

"I blame you for blocking my way! Alduin, kill them!"

Moriel shouted loudly.

Alduin, who had been depressed for several days, received the order, roared, and dived down.

Whoosh—whoosh—whoosh—

Looking at the dragon rushing down, the ironmen formed a phalanx and raised their spears, while throwing spears at Alduin.

This is the phalanx they rely on for survival.

They even used this phalanx to defeat Imperial infantry.

However, this hedgehog-like phalanx has no effect at all in front of Alduin.

Alduin rushed down, opened his big mouth, and spit out a stream of dragon flames from one end of the phalanx to the end of the phalanx.

The entire square array turned into coke.

"Destroy everything."

Zhang Tuohai said.

"Understood!" Moriel controlled Alduin to rampage across the Ironborn Island, turning the entire island into a flaming purgatory.

Carrying the flag of Tiemin Road, Zhang Tuohai and Moriel flew to a nearby coral island.

"This is what happens when you resist."

Moriel planted the Ironborn flag upside down in the dirt.

"Surrender or die."

Moriel raised her voice and said.

The governor of Coral Island and his officials looked at each other and knelt down to express their submission.

With the news that Ironborn Island had been destroyed, Moriel's next trip to gather the original forces of Dragon Cliff went smoothly.

Almost everywhere you go you can see local governors offering their loyalty.

It was a bit smoother than before.

"Sometimes blood is given to prevent more blood being given."

Zhang Tuohai said in Moriel's ear.

Moriel thought about it and it was indeed the case.

"What should we do next? All the city-states have been recovered." Moriel said.

"No, there is another place." Zhang Tuohai said.

"Where?" Moriel wondered.

"Dragon Cliff!"

"However, that place has been destroyed by the empire, and it has become a ruin!" Moriel said.

"Even if there are ruins there, they are still Longya. If you want to inherit the name of Longya, Longya must be reoccupied." Zhang Tuohai said.

"I understand." Moriel nodded.

The White Bird turned and headed straight for Dragon Cliff.

Longya is an island with a rather peculiar shape.

The center and east of the island are plains with vegetation, water sources and beaches.

In the west of the island is a towering, almost vertical cliff.

There are caves of various sizes on the cliff.

When Moriel's ancestors came here and built a city, those giant dragons were tamed in the caves on the cliffs.

Because the cliff is full of dragon nests, this cliff is also called Dragon Cliff, which gradually became the name of the island and the power.

After the empire captured Longya, Longya City was burned to the ground, and the residents on the island were sold into slavery, leaving the island completely desolate.

Looking at the ruins of the city below from high in the sky, Moriel felt a sad emotion filling her heart.

"This is where I grew up. I still remember there was a pond there, and I accidentally fell into it while rowing. There was a rockery there, and I liked to hide there. The grapes near the cliff were the most delicious, and I often

Take a nap over there..."

Looking at the familiar places, Moriel felt that scenes from her childhood were back before her eyes.

Suddenly, Moriel paused.

"No, there are people on this island!"

"Where did you see it?" Zhang Tuohai asked.

"There is a newly built house over there, obviously in the Empire style. It was definitely built later because my family hates Empire style things. When they were there, they would never allow such a building to appear!
