Chapter 900 Retreat

Seeing Hitler's agreement, Qin Chuan felt relieved... The most important thing to rely on the "Magino Line of Defense" to confront the Allies was Hitler's agreement, otherwise everything would be just fantasy, and the biggest problem has been solved now, and the rest is how to deal with the Allies' problem.

So sometimes, Qin Chuan discovered that his biggest opponent seemed not to the Allies, but Hitler... because he was like history, commanding the war in the same direction as the old and proved to be in the end, but Qin Chuan wanted to change all this.

After the general direction was determined, Hitler discussed the details with great enthusiasm:

"How should we retreat?" Hitler asked.

The German army has a characteristic, they are better at attacking... New camps, training camps, etc., telling the officers and soldiers how to attack.

But Rommel is very experienced in this regard. He commanded the African Legion to retreat when he was in Africa.

"We want to build several lines of defense south of the Brittany Peninsula!" Rommel said: "The distance between the lines of defense is our overnight march, about fifty kilometers, so that our armored troops may retreat to the next line of defense at night and make hidden arrangements, so that they will not be blown up by the enemy's air force by dawn!"

Seeing that Hitler did not object, Rommel continued to say: "The G Army located in southern France should take action immediately, because they are likely to become one of the main attack directions of the Allied forces!"

"The attack on southern France has little strategic significance!" said Hitler.

French industry and agriculture are mainly concentrated in the northern plains, the southern central plateau has a complex terrain and relatively sparse population. Moreover, to the south is the Mediterranean Sea and to the east is the Alps, which does not have much strategic significance.

"You are right, Master!" Rommel replied: "But the problem is that they will hope to liberate the entire territory of France, whether it is Giroud, Charles de Gaulle, or other French people!"

"It is of great significance to us to defend this area!" Qin Chuan interrupted: "We can let French troops station in this area!"

"French troops?" Hitler looked at Qin Chuan in confusion: "Lieutenant Colonel, are you talking about the Vichy government? Forget him, they will only surrender!"

"No, Master!" Qin Chuan replied: "I refer to the Algiers government led by Darlang!"

"They are not much better!" Hitler was suspicious by nature, so he didn't think that the French troops that came out of Algeria were of use.

"Of course, they are assisting the G Army in the south!" Qin Chuan said: "And they have been hesitating whether to stand with the Allies. But if they see the Americans and the British after entering France, they realize that France will likely become a puppet or even be dismembered, then the result will be different!"

"Yes!" Rommel replied: "France has a group of people who want real freedom, including Darlang, so they will hope to find a balance between Britain, the United States and Germany... If they do not want France to be fully controlled by Britain and the United States, they must rely on our strength, even though we are their enemies!"

Hitler did not take this too seriously, but doing so did not harm Germany, so he waved his hand to agree.

"What I care more about is how we can move the industry out in time!" Hitler said: "You know, the enemy uses air force to bombard the large-scale railways, highways and bridges on a large scale, and will be almost always maintained overnight, and will be blown up by the enemy soon the next day..."

"His Excellency, Master!" said Rommel: "Why don't we let the French build roads and bridges?"

“We’ve always done this!”

Rommel shrugged, and then Hitler quickly understood what Rommel meant.

Obviously, Rommel asked these French people to "protect" these bridges, roads and railways instead of building bridges.

This seems a bit inhumane, but at this point the war is over and over again.

Hitler did not hesitate and quickly agreed to the plan.

"Then, there is one last question!" Hitler said: "How do we deal with their bombers? After the Allies occupied France, their bombers could take off from France to bomb any corner of Germany!"

"I know how to solve this problem, Master!" Lieutenant General Ruman said in a hurry: "I think you should visit another arrangement of the lower lieutenant colonel, which seems to be..."

"ME163!" Qin Chuan said.

"Yes, it's ME163!" Lieutenant General Rumanlin said: "Lieutenant Colonel said it can deal with enemy bombers, I don't know if this is true!"

"I know it!" Hitler replied somewhat disappointedly: "If I remember correctly, it was an experiment in Africa, but the effect seems not to be very good! Because it is not safe enough..."

After hearing this, Qin Chuan knew that what Hitler knew was ME163 before the launch silo.

Qin Chuan is not surprised by this, because Hitler has to pay too much attention to everything, so it is impossible for him to pay attention to everything. For example, the documents handed to him about certain progress in ME163 were probably just rewrote, thinking that it was just some improvement, and then signed it casually.

"Hissergeant of the Head!" Qin Chuan replied: "I believe that the ME163 you see will be much safer than you think!"

While discussing the retreat plan, the group drove to the ME163 launch position more than ten kilometers behind the defense line. Colonel Conrad, who received the notice in advance, hurriedly brought the engineering staff to greet Hitler.

After pretending to send condolences to Colonel Conrad and the engineers, Hitler asked: "So, Lieutenant Colonel. Where is the safer ME163 you mentioned?"

"His Excellency, Master!" said Colonel Conrad, "You are standing among them?"

"What does it mean?" said Hitler: "I saw nothing!"

Colonel Conrad raised his head to the engineers beside him, and the engineers immediately called and issued instructions.

Then... amid the sound of "clicking" sound, several large flat holes appeared around.

(Note: The ME163 wings are wide, and the launch silo that is suitable for it must also be flat and round)

Hitler leaned over his head curiously and looked into the hole. There was nothing black inside, but after discovering the track that stretched to the entrance of the hole, he suddenly understood.
