However, people in the world are afraid of the light and do not dare to look at it, so they fall into the realm of ignorance where the six paths rotate.
Light is common in practice, and there is a high probability of catching that light, or being reincarnated awake, or realizing liberation.
Those who fail to achieve enlightenment will immediately fall into the bardo of death.
The bardo of death is not the end, but a continuation. During this continuation, the mind is once again obsessed by habits, just like the sun is covered by dark clouds again, and the candlelight is nearly exhausted, leaving people in ignorance.
This is ignorance!
Together with ignorance, the six paths re-enter the cycle.
The Buddha said the twelve causes and conditions, with ignorance as the head of the snake, old age and death as the tail of the snake, the head of the snake swallows the tail, which symbolizes the circle of the six paths of ignorance.
But during the period of ignorance, there is still one sleep every seven days!
In this kind of awareness, people can also get the opportunity to achieve enlightenment. Therefore, in ancient times, wise emperors and generals would ask enlightened people to help them achieve salvation.
The sutras of Buddhism have an awakening effect on anyone in this situation!
Some people can be alert and enlightened after listening to the sutra, and can be reincarnated in a good state. Some people are confused on weekdays, and they are not awake at that time. Naturally, their state is not good.
The salvation will not be complete until after seventy-seven forty-nine days, when the mind is obscured or reincarnated, or enters into a deeper obsession.
This is the principle of secular salvation.
It is a pity that the world is ignorant, or does not understand, or deceives itself and others, and casts a layer of mystery on salvation. The so-called Dharma affairs seek grandeur and pomp, which everyone knows, but they do not know that this is the expansion of various poisons. Doesn't the poison that transcends the emperor add fuel to the fire and increase ignorance?
The key to salvation lies in the enlightenment of the dead and the clarity of the one who saves.
If the person responsible for salvation openly recites the Buddha's name and secretly slanders the Buddha, completely ignorant of the true meaning, and even secretly slanders the deceased, even if the person who is responsible for salvation can make him faint even if his mouth is full of lotus flowers, how can he make others enlightened? This kind of behavior will only make people more enlightened. The dead suffer.
Only when a truly great practitioner lights the lamp of the dead's understanding with the enlightenment of his mind, can this kind of salvation be meaningful.
