end of volume summary

Volume 2 is finally over.

During the entire second volume, a lot of things happened. For example, Zeta is finished.

o(╥﹏╥)o.

This is really a good show. I haven’t followed Ultra updates in more than ten years, but Zeta looks forward to it every week...

Off topic!

Talk about yourself.

Because in the first volume, we encountered many problems, such as taking care of details and maintaining the narrative structure, so some plots were criticized as dragging the plot, etc.

So after that, I made relatively major adjustments to the second volume, deleting some branches and plots, shortening the duration of some events, and compressing the plot.

The more prominent point is that when facing the mini-boss, try not to delay it for too long.

If you look at the second volume from the perspective of fighting bosses, there are many more big and small bosses than in the first volume.

However, the two volumes are structurally different.

The first volume is a total score structure. It radiates at the beginning and closes the net at the end. It is like climbing a mountain, rising first and then falling. One clue and two sides (the evil ghost and Hou Andu) run through the front and back, and the consequences are

Many people think that finishing the first volume is almost as effective as finishing the entire book!?

(╯‵□′)╯︵┻━┻

Comparatively speaking, the second volume is relatively scattered, and the overall clues are also scattered. Unlike the first volume, which has a consistent clue, in the second volume, I used a method of spreading pearls, first laying out the foreshadowing and clues.

Throw them all out, wait for the last part, then gather them back and string them together.

For example, Xingluobang, Looking for Senior Brother, Fish Demon, River Realm, Old Monk, etc., and even including eight sects discussing together, several characters who appear, seem to be relatively independent stories when viewed individually. At the last moment,

Gather them all.

However, because of this structure and the deletion and modification of the outline branches, the final version was not compact enough, and in terms of tension, it was not as impactful as the end of the first volume. In comparison, it was a bit dull.

However, one of the main functions of the scroll tail has been completed, which is to collect all the pearls that have been scattered, bury them in the pit, and bury (dig) the pen (pit).

It is said that I am digging a hole, but it does not really count, because I am just gradually showing the original appearance of the world, they are already there (on the hard drive).

When I first set up the project, I didn't want to write a story about cultivating immortals in the traditional sense, but I couldn't be too subversive. After all, the data was there. Therefore, the beginning of the first volume used a relatively medieval method, because the early results were not good enough.

Yes, so in the second volume I dare to gradually reveal the world view, but how much to reveal exactly needs to be grasped slowly.

Yes, so I will revise some chapters several times.

Sometimes, because I can't hold it in any longer, I will say the next two sentences in the group, and then withdraw them after I realize it's a spoiler.

It is worth mentioning that, including in the first volume, many medieval plots are actually foreshadowing, so when I see some people complaining about it, I feel very uncomfortable.

Let’s go back to Volume 2.

After deletions and omissions, the volume of the second volume is still significantly larger than the first volume. However, due to the large number of revisions, the lack of grasp of the scale, and the constant events, there are many places where there is no writing.

The results were unsatisfactory and did not even meet the plan in the outline, so I had to make amends slowly.

This resulted in some chapters having to be written too quickly in order to advance the plot, and even the fun of coding was reduced.

Sometimes, I write with a notebook outside. Because I don’t have any information or books at hand, and even the outline settings are on my PC at home, I have to delete some sentences, which is really miserable.

I hope that the next volume will go more smoothly, and at the same time, I can slowly regain my status and make the plot more interesting.

Finally, it has been almost ten years since Hanchuang, and I finally have a fine book. Thank you for your support, this is the motivation!

I hope I can live up to your expectations.
