Chapter 61 After arriving home

Ling Yun stayed in the room like this, guarding Ling Daren all night.

So at dawn the next day, he was so sleepy that his eyelids trembled and he had no choice but to lie on the bed rail and squint.

The big kid in the room suddenly woke up, rubbed his sleepy eyes, looked around carefully, and muttered "It's over."

He patted his forehead, shook his head, and tried to wake himself up.

I wondered why I was so careless and overslept.

Yawning, he jumped up against his sleepiness, added a thin coat to his body, and hurried towards Ling Daren's room.

She didn't sleep much these days, so much so that she fell asleep instantly as soon as she lay down on the bed. Unexpectedly, she slept until dawn.

After pushing open the door of Ling Daren's room, he took a closer look and found that Ling Yun was leaning on the railing beside the bed, dozing off with his eyes closed tightly.

His body swayed in the air and was about to collapse. Da Wa hurriedly stepped forward to hold him up.

She touched his face distressedly and muttered, "Adi, this fool, actually stayed alone all night."

After saying that, he gently picked up Yang Bao, and when he went out, he happened to meet Mr. Yang who came in.

"Da Wa, what's wrong with Shiro?" Seeing Da Wa holding the sleeping Ling Yun in her arms, Yang asked with concern, her bloodshot eyes flashing.

"Brother, he stayed by daddy's bedside all night last night and has fallen asleep now." Dawa looked at the motionless Ling Yun in his arms, raised his eyebrows, and whispered softly.

Hearing this, Mrs. Yang touched Ling Yun's face distressedly, and then waved her hand gently, "Go! Let Shiro go to bed to sleep for a while first, be gentle and don't wake him up."

Dawa nodded in agreement. Under Yang's gaze, Dawa carefully carried Ling Yun to his bed and covered him with a quilt.

The eldest child leaned on the bed rail and looked at Ling Yun quietly.

She thought that her brother knew he felt sorry for her. It was clearly agreed that he would stay up until midnight, and she came to stay up until midnight. In the end, he actually stayed up all night alone.

At the same time, he slapped himself on the face and thought to himself how could he sleep so hard that he accidentally overslept and left his brother alone all night? He was really not a human being!

Ling Yun slept until early noon when he woke up. He lay on the bed with his limbs spread out and stretched hard.

He sat up from half-lying on the edge of the bed and yawned uncontrollably.

It was said that this was the first time for him to stay up late. He never thought that staying up late would be really torture.

At five o'clock in the morning, when the rooster crowed, he still couldn't bear it, so he lay down next to the bed rail and dozed off.

I lay and sat for a while, until I woke up, struggled to get up, opened the door and walked out.

"Brother, are you awake?" When he saw Ling Yun coming out and folding vegetables in the courtyard, the big boy glanced at him and turned back to continue the work at hand.

"Good morning, sister," Ling Yun greeted with a smile.

"You want more? Look up at the sun in the sky. What time is it now?" Da Wa rolled her eyes at him and said with an angry smile.

Ling Yun looked up and saw that the sun was high in the sky and it was already noon. He smiled and said, "It's such a beautiful and sunny weather!"

Ling Yun stretched in front of the sun and let out a long yawn.

The eldest child smiled and said, "You know you're tired? You deserve it."

"Well, it's a bit tiring." Ling Yun nodded.

"It's good to know. Let's see if you dare to show off next time." Da Wa muttered, tilting her head and pretending to be angry.

Ling Yun touched his nose and smiled!

It has been raining for so many days, but the sun finally came up today.

The warm sunshine of spring shines on your body, making you feel warm.

Ling Yun couldn't help but raise his face and looked at the sunshine pouring down from the sky. It was subtle and warm, and his whole body seemed to be filled with infinite power.

After the rain, the sky clears up, and everything will gradually get better.

"Brother, if you still feel tired, go get some more sleep. Sister can be alone here." Looking at Ling Yun stretching, he couldn't help but be concerned.

"No need, I've slept enough, and I'm full of energy now." As soon as he finished speaking, he suddenly yawned, and Ling Yun hurriedly covered it with his hands.

The big baby "smiled", Ling Yun was embarrassed and ashamed.

"Let's see if you tell lies in the future." Da Wa said happily.

"No more, no more." Ling Yun waved his hands repeatedly.

March is the busy farming season. Except for the eldest son, who is taking care of Ling Daren at home, and him who is sleeping, everyone else in the Ling family is in the fields.

But at this point, they were about to come back. Ling Yun helped wash the vegetables, then cooked the food himself and asked Da Wa to make the medicine.

When there was still the last vegetable, everyone came in one after another.

"Grandpa, grandma, mother, sisters, wash your hands quickly. The food is ready, eat it while it's hot." Seeing them, Ling Yun quickly greeted them.

"Grandson, are you up?" Mrs. Liang looked at Ling Yun who was cooking in the kitchen and asked.

"Yes, grandma, wash your hands quickly and you can eat." Ling Yun stepped forward and held Ms. Liang's shoulders, gently pushed her to the bucket, bent down and took a ladle of water.

"Oh, dear grandson, grandma can do it herself." Seeing this situation, Ms. Liang felt a little embarrassed.

"Grandma, come quickly, grandpa, come too." Ling Yun looked like he couldn't refuse, Liang didn't refuse, and then Ling Yun tilted his head and shouted loudly to Ling Dashan.

"Hey, here comes the good grandpa!" Ling Dashan saw his grandson fetching water for his wife to wash his hands, and he hurried over not wanting to lag behind.

"You old guy, don't you have any hands? Your grandson has worked so hard to cook for you, and you still ask him to help you fetch water to wash your hands. It's so shameless." Seeing Ling Dashan rushing over, Liang Shi endured.

He couldn't stop cursing.

"You old woman, you didn't ask your grandson to help you. You can do it on your own, why can't I? Humph" Ling Dashan retorted not to be outdone.

"Look how dirty you are. Stay away from my grandson. What are you looking at? You are so dirty. You would be so blind when you are young." Mrs. Liang actually dared to talk back after hearing this.

, that’s okay, he started scolding him mercilessly.

The two of them were going back and forth, it was so lively.

The Ling family compound was still lifeless the day before yesterday, but it was only after Ling Yun came back that it slowly became alive.

Ling Dashan and the two scolded each other for a long time. When they realized that both of them were tired of scolding, they involuntarily shut up.

Although Ling Dashan and Ling Dashan often bickered, they never really got angry.

Looking at this scene, Ling Yun truly felt that simple happiness is not just two people bickering with each other and growing old together?

Although they say disgusting words on their lips, they think of each other's good in their hearts.

Just like grandpa, every time Ling Yun served him food first, he would refuse and say, "Give it to your grandma first. Grandpa has a great body, but unlike her, she is soft-handed and soft-footed."

As he said that, he would pick up the dishes Ling Yun gave him and put them in Liang's bowl.

Grandma would retort every time, "You old guy, I can't even stop your mouth with food."

Although he said he didn't want it, he was still honest. While cursing, he picked up the meat and chewed it carefully.

Grandma would laugh at the tattered clothes that Grandpa was wearing every time she saw them, but she would secretly sew them for him when he was getting washed.

The tacit understanding between the two people for decades will never disappear just because of a quarrel.
