Chapter 65 Letter from the Academy

The eldest child got up before dawn the next day, because she had long expected that Ling Yun would not wake her up.

When she entered Ling Daren's room, Ling Yun was immersed in writing, so she asked curiously, "Brother, what are you writing?"

Ling Yun was so focused that he didn't notice her arrival. She suddenly made a sound, which startled Ling Yun.

He took a breath and looked up at her, "Sister, when did you leave? You scared me."

Da Wa covered her mouth and smiled, "I've been here for a while, but you were too involved and I didn't dare to call you."

"Sister, it's almost dawn now, why do you get up so early?"

"Humph, I have the nerve to say that last night, the night before and after, they told me to wake up in the middle of the night, but I don't know who said it." Hearing this, the big boy muttered, indignantly.

"Hey, my brother was so absorbed in writing that he forgot the time for a while." Ling Yun touched his nose to cover up his embarrassment.

"Really, is it really because you are so absorbed in writing that you forget about time?" Da Wa was dubious.

"Yeah, brother, I never lie to anyone." Ling Yun stared at her and looked at her intently.

"Okay! Don't do this next time!" Da Wa smiled sweetly and agreed with him.

"Brother, you are tired after sitting for so long. Go and have a rest quickly. Sister, just watch here." Looking at Ling Yun who looked tired and yawned constantly, the eldest child said with heartache.

"Okay, brother, I'll go right away." Ling Yun readily agreed to Da Wa's request.

When the latter saw that Ling Yun was not angry, he smiled and said, "My brother is so good!"

Speaking of which, staying up all night was really exhausting. As soon as Ling Yun lay down on the bed, his eyelids were so sleepy that he kept fighting, and he yawned and fell asleep slowly.

It was lunch time when I woke up again. While Ling Yun was washing up, the eldest child had already finished all the work.

When the rest of the Ling family got home, they had a hasty lunch.

Three days later, on a sunny afternoon, the summer sunshine flowed as brilliantly as water notes, moistening different charming sadnesses.

"Is Shiro Ling at home?" Ling Yun, who was sitting in the room, suddenly heard someone calling his name.

"Coming, coming." Ling Yun stood up quickly, opened the door and walked out.

"Uncle Li, why are you here?" Ling Yun walked closer and saw that it was Li Zhenxing, Li Chuan's eldest son.

"Hahaha, Mr. Ling, my father asked me to send you a message. He said that when you have time, he will go to your uncle's house. He has something good for you." Seeing Ling Yun come out, Li Zhenxing laughed.

"I received it. Go back and tell Grandpa Li that I will go visit his old man tomorrow afternoon."

"So good, so good."

Then he added, "Oh, by the way, when I came back from the village intersection just now, I met a man who asked me for directions and said he came to see you. Can you see if he is someone you know?"

"Oh, where is it?" Ling Yun looked left and right, but didn't find anyone coming.

"Next to the tree on Xiaopo." Li Zhenxing pointed to the big tree behind him.

Ling Yun walked out and found a carriage parked next to the big tree. There was also a person standing in the carriage, who looked a bit familiar.

Ling Yun walked forward, and the man looked up at him and walked straight towards him.

When I got closer, I saw that it was actually a soldier.

"Do you really know each other?" Li Zhenxing looked at Xiao Bing, then looked at Ling Yun, and laughed.

"I know him, he is a friend of mine." Ling Yun looked at him and smiled.

When Xiao Bing heard that Ling Yun said that he was a friend, not a classmate of Xiao Si, Xiao Bing's eyes lit up, a ray of light flashed out, and he cast a grateful look at Ling Yun.

"Okay, you guys can chat." Li Zhenxing saw that the two of them knew each other, so he stopped disturbing them and left with a smile.

"Uncle Li, walk slowly."

The latter waved his hand in response.

"Xiao Bing, why are you here?" Looking back, Ling Yun looked at him doubtfully.

"Master Yun, the master asked me to bring you two letters. Please read them."

Xiaobing took two letters and handed them to him, saying that the fat man asked him to bring them.

Ling Yun took the letters in his hand and found that one was a reply from the master of the academy, and the other was written by the fat man.

The master told him to take care of his family affairs first, and also gave him some blessings and so on.

Finally, he told Ling Yun not to forget to study when he gets home and to work harder so as not to fall behind others.

Seeing the blessings and advice from the masters, Ling Yun felt warm in his heart.

I opened the heart of Fatty's writings again, and most of them were complaining to him, saying how the Master was doing this and that when he was away.

He also missed him and asked Xiaobing to bring him the Four Books and Five Classics.

Ling Yun just raised his head and looked at Xiao Bing. The latter understood and ran to the carriage to pick up a stack of books.

"Xiao Bing, thank you. Don't take it personally." She said, cupping her hand to him and giving him twenty mosquito coins.

"Young Master Yun, you must not do it. If I accept your money, I will fine you monthly money. The most terrifying thing is not to give me food." Looking at the money handed over by Ling Yun, Xiaobing hurriedly looked at the money handed over by Ling Yun.

Refusing, the more you say, the more aggrieved you become.

"Don't worry, this is a matter between the two of us. I promise not to reveal any information in front of your young master." Ling Yun spoke sincerely, word for word.

"I don't dare, Master Yun, please spare me!" Xiao Bing bowed and kept refusing, with tears in his eyes. If Ling Yun really forced it on him, he would probably cry.

Ling Yun looked at his embarrassed expression and couldn't continue to force him, "It's okay if I don't want the money. Come in first and have a cup of tea so I won't refuse!"

"Master Yun, are you still waiting for news from me? I won't go in and nag you."

"Why are you in such a hurry?"

Ling Yun saw him coming back and forth without stopping for a moment, and couldn't help but feel guilty.

"Master Yun, it's not like you don't know the young master's temperament. If it takes only half a quarter of an hour, he can pay for the meal."

When the soldier mentioned the fat man, he felt like crying.

When Ling Yun thought of Fatty's attitude towards the soldiers, he immediately understood and shook his head helplessly.

"Be careful on the road and pay attention to safety!" After sending him to the carriage, the soldier shouted loudly while holding the carriage, "Master Yun, there is no need to send him off, you can go back!"

After bidding farewell to Xiao Bing, Ling Yun returned to the study with books in his arms.

When the soldier returned to the academy, he immediately found the fat man.

"Master, I've done the little thing you asked me to do!"

"Did you hand it over to him personally?"

The soldier nodded in agreement.

"Has anyone found out what happened to Ling Yun's family?"

"Ah?" Xiao Bing was stunned and shook his head.

"You didn't even go into Ling Yun's house, did you?" The fat man looked at him in disbelief.

Xiaobing stared and shook his head, then thought of something, and then nodded again.

"Why did the young master ask you to go? You didn't even go into Ling Yun's house after a trip, so how did you bring back the news I wanted? It's really more than success, more than failure." The fat man cursed.

"Don't eat dinner, your monthly payment will be halved." The fat man shouted angrily.
