Chapter 10 Sudden Assassination

Midtown College

Cao Gui walked out of the classroom with a look of toothache on his face. He had to say that the American Emperor's Chinese class was an eye-opener for him.

When he first started class, Cao Gui noticed something was wrong. He was the only Asian in the class, and the teacher was a blond, blue-eyed foreigner. Can you imagine a foreigner teaching Chinese to a Chinese?

What's even more troublesome is that this foreigner still has a Japanese accent. Seeing that Cao Gui is an Oriental, he didn't know what to think. He used Chinese in front of Cao Gui for a while and finally left a sentence: "I eat."

"The salt is more than the rice you eat." Then he started the class with satisfaction.

How should I put it? This foreigner still has some level of skill, but he doesn’t make any big mistakes. He makes small mistakes all the time, such as this sentence: “I eat more salt than you eat rice.”

How could Chinese people say this? We all add the past tense, "I have eaten more salt than you have eaten rice", which is reasonable.

The other party didn't make a big mistake, and it seemed that he was not brave enough to choke with him in public, so Cao Gui could only silently endure this Chinese language that made people have goosebumps all over his body.

He probably knows the reason why he is the only Asian in this class.

On the contrary, Gwen seemed very happy. The Chinese class was a bit difficult, but not as difficult as she thought.

"Cao, you are right, Chinese is not that difficult as I thought." Gwen smiled, her big eyes curved into small crescents.

"Oh, as long as you are happy." Cao Gui replied feebly, showing no interest.

Gwen covered her mouth and chuckled. Cao Gui's purpose of pulling her to learn Chinese was too obvious, but she didn't expect that at the end of the class, Cao Gui himself was frustrated first.

What an interesting man to be a small-minded man.

Time flies, and in a blink of an eye, it is time for school to end again. Cao Gui and Gwen leave school side by side, and then, as expected, they meet the long-awaited George Stacey.

I don’t know why, but Director George’s time seems to be more relaxed than before. Since the last time, you can see him taking Gwen back every afternoon.

Moreover, he had a bad look on Cao Gui, as if he was looking at an enemy.

Cao Gui said hello to Director Stacey as usual, and then left in the distance.

In upper Manhattan, Cao Gui got off the car in front of a barbecue restaurant.

"Hey! Look who's here." The fat middle-aged white man working in the store laughed loudly: "Cao, my friend, you are welcome to come again."

"Haha, Jeff, we haven't seen each other for more than ten hours, and you've gained weight again." Cao Gui patted his round belly.

Since Cao Gui started practicing "paper painting", he has been in constant need of a large amount of meat. In order to satisfy his demand for meat and taste, Cao Gui searched for a long time and finally found this barbecue restaurant with a master from Tianchao as the chef.

In the past month, Cao Gui ordered several roasted whole lambs from this fat man, and he became familiar with them immediately after going back and forth.

There is no way he is not familiar with it. The money Jeff earned from Cao Gui this month was almost the same as his income in the previous months.

"Damn it! You know how to talk nonsense." The fat man asked while busy: "Cao, the old rules don't change, right?"

"Of course." Cao Gui nodded: "Let Li put more chili pepper and cumin for me."

"Don't worry, I know your taste, just sit back and wait, oh, by the way..."

As the fat man spoke, he suddenly seemed to remember something, then put down what he was holding and said, "I just got a Wagyu from Australia today, how about it? Are you interested in taking a look?"

"Wagyu?" Cao Gui's eyes lit up: "What a good thing!"

"Yes, so I will recommend it to you, the big customer, first." The fat man winked: "How about it? Go to my cold storage and have a look?"

"Okay, you lead the way." Cao Gui did not hesitate. After eating roasted whole lamb for a month, it was a good change of taste.

The fat man called an apprentice and asked him to take over his work, and then led Cao Gui around and around to the cold storage where food was stored.

"Jeff, why are you interested in the wagyu business?"

Cao Gui asked curiously, something like Wagyu beef can basically be regarded as a "high-end ingredient", and it seems a bit luxurious to use it for barbecue.

It should be placed in a Western restaurant to make exquisite and attractive Western food with fancy presentation, rather than barbecue.

"Hehehe, I wasn't very interested in it in the past, but it's different now." Jeff said with a proud smile: "With your care as a big customer, I can expand other businesses."

Cao Gui chuckled, that was true.

Not long after, the two came to the cold storage. The lights here were dim and it looked extremely cold and gloomy. A tall, bearded man with an evil spirit was cutting a pig hind leg with a machine.

Cao Gui raised his eyebrows, this man... seemed familiar.

"Oh, he is Mark, one of my new employees. He works very hard." The fat man said with a smile.

Perhaps sensing Cao Gui's gaze, the muscular bearded man named Mark raised his head and nodded to Cao Gui and the fat man beside him.

"Mark, come here." The fat man waved to the bearded man. When he came over, he immediately said to Cao Gui:

"Cao, I can't leave the front for too long. I have to go back now. Mark will take you next."

"He is the best cold storage manager I have ever hired. He is very knowledgeable about Wagyu and various meats. I think you will be satisfied."

Mark looked at Fatty Jeff blankly, then at Cao Gui, and immediately stuffed the narrow sharp knife and the wide bone chopping knife into his lower back:

"Hello, Mr. Cao, please come with me. I have been here for a week and I am very familiar with it. Please trust my business ability."

Cao Gui raised his eyebrows. This sentence seemed a bit redundant. Well... maybe the other party was a little nervous.

"OK, lead the way." Cao Gui nodded readily.

Fat Jeff returned the same way, while Mark took Cao Gui into the cold storage.

As soon as I stepped in, a chill enveloped my body, and I saw all kinds of carnivorous livestock hanging upside down, including pigs, horses, cattle, and sheep.

Cao Gui was amazed. This kind of scene was rare. He had only seen it once in "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre". The most impressive thing was that the heroine hid in the chest of a pig, and then the human-leather face held the electric gun.

The scene where the saw chases from behind and saws the pig in half.

It has to be said that the cold storage where meat is stored is definitely a good place to kill people.

"Mr. Cao, this is our Australian Wagyu beef."

Mark led Cao Gui to a cow carcass hanging upside down. From the incisions on it, we could see that snowflake-like fat was spread throughout the texture of the beef. You can imagine that if it is fried until it turns slightly yellow and sprinkled with a little black pepper and salt, it will

How melt-in-your-mouth it is.

Cao Gui couldn't help but admire it, but then he frowned slightly, something was still wrong. Wagyu beef was not suitable for barbecue, and it was not suitable for him, who often likes to order roasted whole lamb.

Cao Gui raised his left hand, pressed it gently on the beef, then turned to the bearded man behind him and said:

"Hey Mark, this beef..."

Whoosh!

Suddenly! At this moment!

A bright flash of sword flashed before my eyes!

The wide bone-chopping knife drew a beautiful arc and suddenly struck Cao Gui's neck!

Cao Gui's eyes were horrified, and Mark's rough and crazy face was reflected in his dark pupils.

The bearded face is full of ferocious, cruel, and cheerful expressions.
