Chapter 246 NYPD's Response

On the west side of Manhattan Island, inside an NYPD precinct.

"Sir, orders from superiors." A tablet was placed in front of Director George.

"Damn it, you actually want us to patrol the Hudson River?" George slapped the table and said angrily:

"We have helicopters but no boats. What do we want people like us to do there?"

"Sir, helicopters and all boats have been dispatched..." the police officer who gave the order whispered.

He was also troubled by this. He already had air and water reconnaissance, but he still wanted to send police officers like them out. What was this for? Do you think they were too idle?

However, the order must not be disobeyed. After receiving the order, George could only take a dozen police officers to patrol the Hudson River.

During this period, the orders from my superiors were getting more and more outrageous. The only thing I was happy about was probably that my salary these days was more than before.

The current NYPD has not only replaced its guns with cannons, but also has all kinds of active military equipment, and even its salary has been doubled.

Although the work during this period was very dangerous and many police officers complained, but... seeing that their superiors gave them enough money, they reluctantly agreed. Otherwise, the wave of resignations would have already occurred.

All of a sudden, George led his men to the edge of the Hudson River. On the other side was the North American continent, New Jersey.

"George, are you so unlucky that you were sent out?"

A voice sounded, and George looked over and found that it was an acquaintance. He couldn't help but feel a little depressed: "John McClain, I thought you were fired."

"Haha, shit, those idiots sitting in the office don't dare." John curled his lips, smiled disdainfully, and handed out a cigarette.

"No, I quit." George pushed away his cigarette and said disgustedly. During this time, he was planning to have another little daughter with Helen.

Gwen, this little cotton-padded jacket, is already useless, so he should level up again. Anyway, he has money and can afford it.

"Tsk, tsk, George, you don't even smoke, you are such a boring man." John said with disdain.

"I have hundreds of millions of dollars, and I have stopped using this vulgar way of entertainment." George scolded him, standing on the pile of money and despising him.

"...Shit, I still have a wife worth hundreds of millions!" John was furious and immediately retorted.

"Correction, it's my ex... Hehe, forget it, let's not talk about this, let's just call our superiors like trash." George was about to reply, but when he saw John clenching a fist as big as a sandbag, he acted decisively.

McClain has nothing but a reputation for being able to fight.

"Huh!" John snorted, so you know what he's talking about.

Buzz buzz~

"Three helicopters..." George put his hands in front of his forehead to block the strong sunlight, and looked up at the sky:

"Three helicopters were actually used to patrol the Hudson River. Is there some kind of monster in the river?"

"There is actually an armed helicopter... Tsk tsk, that's really rich." John tutted. After being a policeman for so many years, this was the first time he saw such a big boss of the NYPD.

In the past, I used to be so stingy that I wanted nothing but bullets.

"We don't feel bad if the big boss on Wall Street provides money." George said with a strange smile. There is nothing happier than seeing those people being unlucky.

"Hehehe, you're very right..." John was talking when he suddenly stared blankly at the wide water surface of the Hudson River.

"George, did you notice?"

Hearing this, George lowered his head and looked towards the water.

"I see, the water waves here seem to be faster than before." George said in a deep voice.

In the past, they wouldn't care about such details, but the problem is... special times!

The superior officers had already said that there might be monsters coming, or there might not be, so they had to be careful and consider the worst case scenario.

"Damn it, is there something in the Hudson River?" George cursed, taking out his telescope and looking at the water in the distance.

John did not dare to neglect, and immediately found his superiors and asked them to contact the helicopter flying in the sky.

However, George saw nothing in the telescope.

"Zi——, I am police officer 6673, sir, what did you find?" A voice came from the walkie-talkie, and at the same time, a helicopter flew slowly and slowly over the sky.

"The waves on the river have become faster, and we suspect there is something in the river." John said immediately.

"Copy that, we're scouting now."

After saying this, the helicopter began to fly to the water and began to circle at low altitude for reconnaissance. Waves of water lapped at the shore.

"The water surface is fluctuating faster again." George said in a deep voice.

"Is it caused by the propeller?" John said, as the helicopter propeller not far away was blowing the water.

"Zi——All police officers, please leave the shore, there is something in the water!"

"No. 2, stay away from the water and raise the altitude quickly!"

At this time, rapid voices sounded one after another on the walkie-talkie. George and John were shocked and ran quickly to the shore, while holding down the walkie-talkie to issue instructions to their men.

But at this time, waves suddenly rolled on the water in the distance, and a large amount of water poured in from a distance.

"Damn it!"

"Quick, raise the altitude!" Several NYPD police officers shouted loudly in the helicopter.

The driver did not dare to hesitate, and suddenly grabbed the joystick and pulled it up with all his strength.

However, it's almost too late.

Wow!

Boundless water burst out of the river instantly, and waves of several meters high hit the shore, hitting the heads of the police officers.

And right in the center of the water, a huge crocodile leaped high into the air and bit into the helicopter suspended in the air.

Boom!

Suddenly, the helicopter exploded instantly, but it only turned into a ball of black smoke and scrap metal in the giant crocodile's mouth. Even the giant crocodile's teeth were not damaged at all.

"Damn it, hurry up, get out of here!" George yelled in fear and ran to higher ground as hard as he could.

However, what shocked him was that the giant crocodile did not pay attention to the two-legged beasts, but climbed ashore and quickly climbed towards the White Building in the northwest direction of Manhattan.

"Quick, use all your strength to kill it!" At the NYPD headquarters, a middle-aged man pointed at the giant crocodile on the screen and shouted loudly.

The armed helicopters and Warthog ground attack aircraft that were already ready took off quickly. The M1 Abrams tank was slightly slower, flying slightly slower than in the sky.

White Building.

The two siblings stood in front of the large screen wall, watching the NYPD fight with the giant crocodile.

"Wow~ It turns out that we have created such a huge beast." Braden's eyes widened and he was amazed.

Claire next to him twitched his face, a bit like slapping his stupid brother to death.

The power of this monster was beyond her imagination. If the NYPD suffered too many casualties when solving it, they would be in trouble.

In the mountain forest, on a Ford pickup truck.

"Cao, it's too late, another monster has appeared." Gwen sighed.

As he spoke, he placed the computer in front of Cao Gui. On it was a video of a monster emerging from the Hudson River.

The back spines are like scales, the skin is as thick as armor, the body is nearly a hundred meters long, and the mouth is full of fangs. Every part tells the terror of this giant crocodile.

"Poor New York citizens?" Cao Gui looked at the video and twitched the corner of his mouth.

The citizens of New York during this period were really pitiful. First there were the orcs from Sykes Enterprises, then Dr. Lizard, then the Abomination, the Hulk, and now this monster.

Hearing this, Gwen also twitched the corner of her mouth. Thinking about it carefully, Cao Gui was right. The citizens of New York are so pitiful and New York is so dangerous.
