Chapter 7 Invite the Patriarch

In the Patriarch's Temple, there was an incense table. On the incense table were a pig's head, a sheep's head, and an ox's head. These three things are not easy to buy these days. Even if you have money, they can't buy them. It took a lot of effort for Zhang Taijin to do it.

Got it. The pig's head was not a domestic pig's head, but a wild boar that Zhang Taijin had killed, and most of the pork was exchanged for a sheep. The cow's head was obtained from a Miao village in the mountains.

Folks generally refer to the three animals as being divided into big and small. The big three animals refer to sheep, pigs and cows; the small three animals refer to chickens, ducks and rabbits (one theory is that the big three animals refer to pigs, cows and sheep, and the small three animals refer to chickens, ducks and fish). In some places, they also refer to chickens, ducks and fish.

Chicken, fish and pig are called the three animals.

It is an ancient ritual to ask the ancestors to pass on the scriptures, so it is natural to use a large animal. Zhang Taijin then went to great lengths to prepare all these things.

In addition, the incense candles on the incense table are naturally not rare items, and they are also common items in the ancestor temple.

"When you raise your heart, all the gods know it. Before the soldiers and horses are moved, the food and grass go first. Before the soldiers are moved, the food is moved first. Thousands of soldiers and horses descend on the altar. When you look at the blue sky, the ancestor is in front of you; when you look at the blue sky, the master is by your side.

. Arrive as soon as you see it, come as soon as you are invited. Please pay homage to the Master Hua Tuo in front of the Laojun Hall, and teach him how to operate and set bones, stop bleeding and relieve pain, remove cold and reduce fever. Master Pain Pain, Master Pain from across the mountain,

Across the river, Master Pain, Patriarch Hua Tuo, Patriarch Zhenwu, Master Zun Gu, Patriarch Tieniu, Patriarch Xueshuang, Master Huagu, Master Jiegu, and Master Puti, please come to the furnace and be with us in the meeting.

, Disciples pass on the teachings from front to back, and on the head of the incense burner, they kowtow to the ancestor and master to pass on the teachings." Zhang Taijin was burning paper and incense while mumbling words in his mouth.

Chang Xing knelt in front of the incense table and allowed Zhang Taijin to fiddle with him. Although Chang Xing was young, he knew that today's invitation to the Patriarch was not an ordinary household chore and should not be a child's play. He knelt on the ground honestly and listened to Zhang Taijin's incantation that he could not understand at all.

Wen. Like a marionette, he obeyed Zhang Taijin to complete various rituals.

This incantation to invite the ancestor is very long, with a total of more than a thousand words. Zhang Taijin had copied it on a piece of yellow paper, while reciting the incantation and chanting it. After reciting it, he burned it in front of the incense altar.

After inviting the Patriarch, he went to the Santianmen to invite soldiers and horses. He also had to recite the incantation, burn paper money, and sing Ya to compose the compilation.

"One invites heavenly soldiers and generals, two invites earthly soldiers and generals, three invites three-yuan generals, four invites four heavenly kings, five invites five hundred barbarian thunders, six invites six dings and six armors, seven invites seven-star generals, eight invites eight great kings, and nine

Please nine dragons and nine tigers."

After inviting the soldiers and horses, he returned to the table and asked the Patriarch from the incense altar: "I invite you to the virtuous master, the Patriarch of the Seventh Five-Year Plan, to come down in person to teach and learn the Dharma. I want one saint and one yin to help my disciples, and I have issued a spiritual talisman."

A bowl of Dharma water."

The hexagram is two halves of ram's horns. Zhang Taijin casually threw the ram's horn hexagram on the ground. The two halves of ram's horns bounced on the ground, one facing the sky and the other facing the ground, which is the holy hexagram. It means that the patriarch has accepted it. From this moment on,

Chang Xing is already the legitimate successor.

Chang Xing was only a few years old, and there was no futon under his knees when he knelt on the ground. As he knelt for a long time, he began to feel bursts of pain. If he was a spoiled child, he would have started crying by this time, but Chang Xing

Gritting his teeth, he was worried that if he cried, the master would not teach him the Taoism.

Zhang Taijin finished the ceremony and then helped Chang Xing up: "My child, this etiquette is finished. Master will teach you how to draw the talisman to turn water into water later."

In the Taoism of Zhang Taijin's sect, on the first day of entry, you must first draw the Patriarch's Powerful Talisman. This talisman is the most important talisman in the life of the monks of Zhang Taijin's sect. Every time you practice, draw a talisman, or cast a spell, you must offer this talisman to the incense table.

Above, in the talisman of the Patriarch's power, the name and birth date of the practitioner are written. Once you join the sect, you must not deceive your master and betray your ancestors for the rest of your life, otherwise your magic power will be lost.

This talisman must be written by a practitioner of magic, so it is also the first talisman written by monks from Zhang Taijin's sect.

The Patriarch's Powerful Talisman looks like a character with a very complicated structure, but it is much more complex than ordinary characters. And there is also a certain point in drawing the talisman. The talisman is composed of three parts, namely the talisman head, the talisman gall and the talisman foot.

The head of the Patriarch Power Talisman is a three-hook symbol, which represents the symbols of the Three Pure Ones (Daode Tianzun, Yuanshi Tianzun, and Lingbao Tianzun) or the Three Realms (City God, Land, and Patriarch).

This talisman represents the Taoist ancestors of the Three Purities, which is what people call the Taoist God (Tai Shang Laojun), the Yuanshi Heaven, the Lingbao Heaven, and the Three Heavens. The Sanqing talisman in this painting symbolizes vitality and the meaning of making something out of nothing.

It has the meaning of the three talents, which coincides with the human spirit, the sun, moon and stars in the sky, and the water, fire and wind on the earth. The incantation used when painting is: (1) one stroke of the world (middle); (2) two strokes of the ancestor's sword (left)

; (3) The three evil spirits traveled thousands of miles away.

The talisman is the soul of a talisman and the master of the talisman. Whether a talisman can fully exert its effectiveness depends to a large extent on whether there is a talisman guarding it. The talisman is generally called the talisman gall, and the talisman is the talisman.

The meaning of courage is to ask the ancestor to sit within this talisman and guard the door of this talisman.

The foot of the talisman, "crossed talisman foot", is used to end the talisman and end the writing procedure of a talisman. It also plays an extremely important role. All the talismans of the ancestor Wei Ling are painted with cinnabar. After the painting is completed, they are worshiped and placed in the temple.

On the altar of incense.

Zhang Taijin very patiently told Chang Xing how to draw the Patriarch's Wei Ling Talisman. Chang Xing was young, and the pen in his hand kept shaking when he held the talisman. The Patriarch's Wei Ling Talisman was very complicated, hundreds of times more difficult than learning to write.

But Chang Xing held the talisman pen with both hands to prevent the brush from shaking, and then wrote stroke by stroke in the order taught by the master. Although the strokes were drawn crookedly, he was able to roughly draw the strokes of the talisman.

Seeing such a scene, Zhang Taijin couldn't help but frown, but still patiently encouraged Chang Xing to continue.

"Xing'er, work harder and draw well. Master will reward you with something delicious later."

As Chang Xing continued to draw, the hand holding the pen began to feel sore. It was no wonder that the hand held the pen hard and did not know how to use it skillfully. Using a talisman pen was no easier than swinging a hoe.

It takes Zhang Taijin at most just one stick of incense to draw the Patriarch's Powerful Talisman. Chang Xing spent more than two hours painting the Patriarch's Powerful Talisman. When all the Patriarch's Powerful Talisman was drawn, the body's

His clothes were completely wet with sweat. His hands were also covered in sweat. Even the yellow paper on which the talisman was drawn was soaked with sweat. The ink spread in the sweat-soaked yellow paper, and the Patriarch's Powerful Talisman drawn on the yellow paper became slightly blurry.

.

"Write Xing'er's name here, and then write the birth date, and the talisman will be completed." Zhang Taijin said.

Chang Xing felt very tired, but he promised the master that he would endure the hardships of cultivation, so how could he go back on his word? So Chang Xing continued to grit his teeth and persisted, following Zhang Taijin's writing of his name and birthday, one by one in the picture.

The calligraphy and painting are in the gall bladder of the Patriarch Wei Ling's Talisman.
