Young Master Honglian walked on the western land. As he saw it with his eyes, it was definitely a rich land.
I heard that this place was once very barren?
But now the vast plain is covered with water networks and the climate is pleasant, all things grow and all spirits are born.
This place is definitely rich, and even the land on any plain is better than the most fertile land in the Southern Continent.
When farmers farm here, they almost only need to scatter grain seeds into the geography, and the grain crops will naturally grow and have good yields.
This vast plain is surrounded by mountains, and a large amount of metal minerals can be easily mined in the mountainous areas, with extremely abundant resources.
There are many small countries here, but there is not much dispute, because the countries here can easily support their citizens, so there is no need to fight for survival resources.
A great country is extremely luxurious and prosperous. The wealthy families use gold and silver to make utensils and silver, and their homes are often magnificent and luxurious.
This is the "Western Pure Land", a place where famine is almost eliminated.
But in the eyes of Mr. Honglian, is this kind of place really good?
He saw many people who were idle, who could have enough food and live a good life without any effort.
So they are very empty inside and need something to fill in.
Originally, knowledge should be the best choice to fill this empty heart, but knowledge is only mastered by the nobles and priests' families, and ordinary people can only choose religion and faith.
So after almost everyone simply solved their own food and clothing, they spent most of the day praising their faith.
From this, they no longer feel empty, and Buddhism has also gained a lot of faith and vows.
Seeing this, Master Honglian felt silenced and laughed. Is this what the West looks like?
I'm afraid it's hard to move forward in the East.
Because the East does not have such a rich land, the people of the East must do their best to produce the food and materials needed to meet the survival of their family. Where do they have time to praise their faith?
Oriental people are generally more realistic. It is better to live a good life than to have the time to look forward to the next life.
In the eyes of Orientals, children and descendants are the continuation of their beliefs.
They can pray to the gods and Buddhas of the sky for their children and parents, but if the gods and Buddhas of the sky make them unable to survive, they will suddenly fight!
When Xia Qingyang went to visit the Dragon Palace in Donghai, he heard an interesting story:
There was a drought in a place, and officials led the people to pray to the Dragon God.
As a result, the official came with a whip. If he begged to him, he would just have to use the whip!
There is another place where the Dragon God statue is always "renovated" every few years.
Because when the weather is good, everyone will pay a good sacrifice. Once the wind is not smooth, the rain will not go well, these people will push the statue of the Dragon God to vent their anger.
Then the feng shui will improve again next year, and the statue will be erected again...
The people in the East are so irritable.
But Heaven still has no choice but to do anything to them.
After all, the protagonist of the world is the human race. The Heavenly Court said it was to manage the world, but in fact, how can it be used by the human race?
This two attitude towards faith also determines that the civilizations of the human race in Xiniu Hezhou and Nanzhanbu Continent also have fundamental differences.
The human race in Xiniu Hezhou is too fragile in the eyes of Master Honglian.
What they pursue is not the strength of their own clan, nor even the idea of developing productivity. Everyone's wisdom is focused on how to worship their own beliefs.
Although the human race in the Southern Continent has been under the threat of famine, it seems that they have lived a very hard life.
But the human race in the Nanzhan Continent is constantly improving productivity with their wisdom and allowing themselves to do more things... This makes the entire civilization full of motivation to move forward and is constantly developing.
Young Master Honglian thought about the differences between civilizations on both sides and silently walked to a magnificent Buddha statue.
here……
I am taking an image in Diaoshan!
This is the way the kings of this country express their faith.
But for this Buddha statue, Master Honglian saw countless exhausted slaves under the feet of the Buddha statue... countless people died of exhaustion.
There is no war in this country, but its citizens are still facing the threat of death.
The most terrifying thing is that even if death occurs from time to time, no one in the workplace here will complain, but instead feel that dying is an honor.
Young Master Honglian opened his wise eyes and looked at the Buddha statue in the sculpture...
I saw these craftsmen, coolies, who died because of building Buddha statues, and their fallen lives were turning into threads of karma and entangling the Buddha statues.
Obviously, this kind of "respect for the Buddha" is also a karma for the Buddha.
What is particularly terrifying is that this has become a trend in the Western world. Only in this way can people express their respect for Buddha in their hearts.
Mr. Honglian wanted to do something, but he felt powerless to change his spontaneous belief in this kind of mortal.
To a certain extent, the two Western saints have been too successful in controlling the Western world. They have completely controlled the idea of this land, making this place a fertile land exclusively for religion.
Young Master Honglian thought a lot, but finally had no choice but to turn around.
He returned to Lingshan and thought silently, and at the same time he also sent his thoughts into the chaotic void...
He felt that he was just an incarnation after all, just a part of the thoughts of the essence, and there were always restrictions on thinking.
...In the chaos, Xia Qingyang, who was experiencing the great way, came back to his senses.
He felt the confusion of Master Honglian.
After all, Mr. Honglian was his good corpse, but this feeling that he knew it was wrong but did not know how to improve it had made Mr. Honglian completely unaware of what to do.
"Original, what do you think I should do?"
"Honglian, you don't have to do anything."
"Do you just watch those people born and died because of religion, and have no self at all?"
"Honglian, Honglian, you are just making judgments based on your own ideas, but you do not see the happiness in those people's hearts."
"No, that's a deception. I don't want this deception to be transmitted to the East."
Xia Qingyang shook his head and said:
"That is wisdom, and great wisdom."
"But, mortals always like to rely on others and rely on their wisdom to guide them, which makes them gradually lose the ability to think about themselves."
Young Master Honglian lost his voice, and he seemed to understand a little.
Buddhism is not a deception, but a mistake in directly guiding mortals with the wisdom of gods and Buddhas, allowing mortals to see too much gap and give up their own thinking.
Or in other words, the Buddhist scriptures express the wisdom of gods and Buddhas too bluntly, making people yearn for it and ignore it when they read it.
Xia Qingyang felt that Taoist sect was doing better in this regard.
There are many Taoist classics, but these are often profound and obscure.
Those who are destined to have wisdom can of course understand the wonderful Dharma from it to seek the fruit of immortality. For those who do not have enough wisdom, it is like reading a heavenly book. It is better to give up and live your life early.
Just like the "Tao Te Ching" passed down by the Supreme Saint through the hands of Xuandu.
No matter how the times change, we can interpret the understanding that will not be outdated. What a great wisdom this is!
