Chapter 16: New Members

Yang Muyun spread his left hand, showing the bloody lines on his palm, and waved it in front of the bear.

"You know this stuff?"

Xiong nodded, "I've heard about some of the barbarian heritage."

Yang Muyun asked again: "You also know about the Ice Age, right?"

This time, the bear did not speak. Instead, he looked at the thick ice and snow around him and growled slightly irritably.

Yang Muyun said: "The Ice Age is coming. Even the goblins have felt it. Other races will definitely take action. It will become more and more difficult to find food in the future, not to mention you still have cubs to raise."

Yang Muyun was just guessing at first, but when he saw the two pairs of blinking eyes in the cave, he immediately knew that he had guessed correctly. The bear in front of him not only had cubs, but also two.

As expected, the bear hesitated.

If it were just itself, foraging would not be a problem at all. It could fill its stomach whether it hunted by itself or robbed from other tribes.

But after having cubs, the bear has a weakness and has to be cautious no matter what it does.

"So, barbarian, what do you want to say?"

Yang Muyun took out a fist-sized piece of candy from his leather pocket and said, "Let's live together. I'll be responsible for going out to find food, and you'll be responsible for looking after the house. How about that?"

The bear was silent.

Seeing the bear hesitating, Yang Muyun raised his hand and threw the candy bar. The bear immediately instinctively opened its mouth and caught it.

The next moment, the bear narrowed his eyes happily, the flesh of his lips trembled in waves, and a whistling sound came from his nostrils.

Perhaps because of the candy, the bear's attitude softened a bit.

"Barbarian, your proposal moved me, but you have to understand one thing. My child has a big appetite and needs a lot of food."

As he said that, the bear raised his paw and gestured at Yang Muyun, "My child has to eat as much food as you do in one day."

Yang Muyun shrank his neck and was very resistant to using himself as the unit of measurement.

But the conditions Xiong offered were nothing.

Yang Muyun had nothing but food.

What's more, bears are omnivores and can eat anything from meat, eggs, milk, melons, fruits and vegetables, making them very easy to feed.

"no problem!"

Hearing Yang Muyun's promise, the bear barked toward the cave, and immediately, two furry balls rolled out.

Yang Muyun's eyes widened when he saw these two little guys.

I looked back at the bear next to me. It was all brown and black, with the tips of its hair slightly brown, and the roots of its hair as black as ink.

Looking at these two little guys, the one in the front is all white, completely opposite to its mother's skin color, while the one in the back has inherited her mother's skin color, but only part of it.

The black is only concentrated in the ears, eye sockets, limbs, nose, and lips. As for other parts, they are all white.

Yang Muyun thought to himself: Although I don't know how many fathers these two babies have, one of them must be an iron-eating beast.

Waving to the two little dumplings, Yang Muyun took out two fist-sized pieces of candy from his leather pocket.

The two little dumplings didn't know whether their bones were soft or they hadn't walked before. They took three steps and fell two steps, and finally rolled to Yang Muyun's side.

The little snow-white dumpling arrived first, bit the candy bar in Yang Muyun's hand, and then hid next to his mother to taste it happily.

The black and white dumpling's brakes failed, and he hit Yang Muyun's feet, causing his claws to face upward.

Helplessly scratching the air a few times, Xiaotuanzi stared at the candy in Yang Muyun's hand with his big innocent eyes.

Yang Muyun rubbed Xiaotuanzi's belly lovingly, and then stuffed the candy into his mouth.

Glancing at the female bear next to him from the corner of his eye, Yang Muyun found that there was no sign of anger. Yang Muyun immediately bravely picked up the little black and white dumpling, put it on his knees and started to stroke it vigorously.

"Has the little one got a name?"

The female bear was silent for a moment, "They can't be named casually."

Yang Muyun nodded, "You can't just give a big name, but a nickname doesn't matter, right? There has to be a title, right?"

Xiong did not refute, which was regarded as acquiescing to Yang Muyun's statement.

"In that case, how about calling them Xiong Da and Xiong Er?"

Bear is the name of the race, and Yamato 2 is the serial number. The female bear thought for a while and finally nodded in approval.

"Originally I wanted to name Dabai and Xiaohua, but I also think Xiong Da and Xiong Er's names sound better. It's up to you."

After shaking off the fur on her body, the mother bear took the two cubs by the scruff of their necks, threw them onto her back, and then walked down the mountain.

It was the first time for the two cubs to come out of the cave. After adapting to the light of the outside world, they immediately raised their heads and looked around.

Perhaps out of surprise, the little boy opened his mouth a little bit, but just when the candy was about to slide out, the two little guys closed their mouths together.

When Yang Muyun passed by Dashi, he noticed a frustrated expression on his face.

Dashi shook the shield on his arm, touched the armor on his body, and sighed dejectedly: "Chief, you gave me such good equipment, but I can't hold on for one round."

Yang Muyun comforted: "Don't think so much. The power of this bear is beyond our imagination, but now that she has joined us, the power of our tribe has grown again."

Hearing this, Dashi's gloom suddenly turned clear.

I really can't beat a bear, I don't even have the ability to parry.

But the bear joined the tribe and lost to the strong men in the tribe. This is not shameful.

Immediately, Dashi thought of something, "Chief, aren't you afraid? If this bear doesn't choose to join us, you will be in danger."

Yang Muyun smiled and said mysteriously: "I have to thank the shaman for this."

The shaman did not specifically warn Yang Muyun to be careful of the bear in the Western Mountains, which meant that there was no danger and he might even be a friend.

Yang Muyun patted the big stone and said, "Let's continue patrolling the mountain! By the way, wake up those guys."

Dashi immediately rushed over and kicked a goblin.

Several goblins woke up leisurely and immediately realized that something was wrong with the situation in front of them.

Why did the bear follow the savages down the mountain?

Dashi yelled angrily: "What are you looking at? If there's anything interesting to see, why don't you carry your stuff and follow me."

Several goblins moved quickly, lifting baskets filled with dried fruits and following Yang Muyun.

In order to make up for his mistake, Green Hat immediately shouted to several tribesmen: "Your Majesty, teach me to patrol the mountains and sing together!"

Several goblins immediately started singing at the top of their lungs. While singing, they shook their heads, twisted their waists and kicked their legs, and from time to time they would take three steps and two steps back.

Hearing this song, the female bear turned back curiously.

"A very strange song, but very nice."

After saying that, the female bear raised her head, narrowed her eyes slightly, raised her feet and walked with a vague momentum of a dragon and a tiger.

Yang Muyun, who was following behind, was suddenly embarrassed. His limelight was stolen by the female bear. She was like the king of the mountain, while she herself became a little follower, a minion.

But when he thought of the she-bear's powerful strength, Yang Muyun suddenly felt that there was nothing wrong with being a little follower.

After thinking about this, Yang Muyun followed suit and started walking like a crab, becoming more arrogant and more worthy of a beating.

Dashi said worriedly: "Chief, there is a large swamp further ahead. Hunters from surrounding forces often appear there. If we are in this position, we will be beaten."

Yang Muyun waved his hand, "Don't worry about it. Just follow my posture. The less you need to be beaten, the better."
