Postscript - I would rather be a chamaejasma than a plastic flower.

Postscript - I would rather be a wolfsbane weed than a plastic flower.

clang--

"The Medicine Master of Shenzhou" (Long Night Kingdom) is finally over.

Although it ended in late autumn, everyone scattered so many flowers that it made me feel like I was witnessing the sad spring season when flowers are falling like rain.

For more than five hundred days and nights, I have long been accustomed to the world in the book and the emotions in the book. Happiness, pain, hesitation, confusion, joy, regret... But finally it's time to say goodbye.

I really can't bear to leave, I feel very lost.

What’s more, I can’t bear to leave my book friend who stays with me every day, supports me, loves me, encourages me, and will never leave me.

It is your "broad wrong love" that created this nearly 3 million-word book "The Medicine Master of Shenzhou", which gave me the courage and motivation to finish writing this "grandiose" story.

Without your support, I would have long ago pulled my hair, cried sadly, and given up on a cold or sultry night!

Therefore, the author Wu Lie is insignificant, just because the book friend is wise and powerful.

It was everyone's support that allowed me to ignore the desolation of streaking, the bleakness of exposure, and the skeleton of data, and kept writing a masterpiece, finishing "The Medicine Master" with nearly three million words.

But once it is over, it is like the farewell after the song ends and the withering after the prosperity ends.

Yao Ge and Kuier who have gone away, those characters who have gone away are still vivid and vivid yesterday, but today they are lost in the historical smoke and dust of the virtual world...

It turns out that I am the "leading sister" of the Left Dao Sect. I am the one who creates and I am the one who destroys. It was I who harmed the Ming Dynasty!

……………………

Although "Medicine Master" is not unfinished, the finale does feel rushed. The number of finished words is the same as that of Zang Yuan, both 2.88 million words.

Magical 288…

This is my hopeless perfectionism at work.

When an author is a paranoid, then although his words may be powerful, they are more likely to be absurd.

Because I didn’t want the word count of “The Medicine Master” to exceed that of “The Burial Yuan”, I ended up writing two books with 2.88 million words each. This reason... makes sense. (What’s frustrating is that as soon as the extra chapter was finished, it became

2.89 million, blanched...)

2.88 million... Based on the story structure of "The Medicine Master", even if you have never written a novel, 2.88 million is difficult to start and finish!

To be honest, the story structure and plot design of "The Medicine Master" are indeed "magnificent". At 2.88 million words, it is really a bit cramped.

Writing four million words is easy. And the results are still growing. From a personal benefit point of view, writing another million words can really make a bad amount of money, and then you can really start to make money.

If you write another million words, you can still wait for big recommendations and expand the influence of your work. Why not?

But I decided to finish the book for the sake of ‘288’! (Shamefully, it has now become 289.)

There are probably not many authors of Qidian who do what I do.

Some authors may say that Wu Lie Sha Bi doesn't know how to earn money to brush up data, but he doesn't even know how to finish the book, so he deserves not to be popular.

People who are proficient in psychology may analyze: Wu Hunter’s mentality is not normal...

Someone said to me, Wu Lie, you are the most honest author I know. New authors are more knowledgeable than you.

I said, you mean to call me a stupid roe deer, but you are too embarrassed to say it directly?

He said, you are not a stupid roe deer, you are honest. If you were a man, you might be a bachelor.

I said, you are so wrong. I am not honest, I am just stubborn.

He said... Damn it! What's the difference? Isn't honesty the same as stubbornness?

No! I said, stubbornness means: I just do what I want to do, regardless of whether there are benefits or not.

Honesty means: I have to follow other people's wishes or requirements, regardless of whether there are benefits or not.

He said okay, you are really stubborn. You are stubborn, but what good does it do for you? If you spend 50,000 krypton gold to brush up data, build a few silver alliances, buy monthly tickets and buy likes...

I said I got a benefit? My benefit is that I didn’t go against my will, I did it according to my heart, and I didn’t betray my Taoist heart. Isn’t this a benefit?

Okay, he said. Then just go for it. You have no intention of doing it. Who hasn’t experienced it? That’s self-hypnosis and it’s worthless.

If you don’t spend money on operations, no matter how good your writing is, it will still be poorly presented. I have never seen a product that can become a hit without advertising.

He is really kind, and I am very grateful. There are many book friends like this, who love me very much and hate me very much.

However, perhaps due to my professional personality, I have strict aesthetic requirements for real data (evidence).

Maybe it's psychological mysophobia.

If I use money to engage in "operations", I think I am committing fraud, forging evidence, over-packaging, false propaganda, illegal operations... and so on.

This kind of identification will greatly damage my sense of achievement, honor, and poetry in my creation. It will make me feel that I am not writing a novel, but doing business to make money.

No matter how vulgar the online novels are, no matter how lacking in depth, no matter how unappealing the traditional writers are, they are still literature!

Who dares to say that online novels are not literature? They are not art?

Who dares to say that online novels, which are loved by hundreds of millions of young people, full of explosive thinking, full of inspiration, and imaginative, and have influenced overseas, are not literature?

Even if it is a poisonous weed, it is a grass favored by nature, not a plastic flower!

Since it is still within the realm of literature and art, creators must be aware that you are creating, not doing business.

The commercial value of novels is reflected by the market, not by the author's personal spending on data.

You can't say that online novels have strong commercial value, deny the literary value, and then turn the author into a businessman.

When everyone is collecting data, relying on krypton gold, hiring gunmen, and even engaging in AI robot writing... When capital and business logic completely dominate literature, then who will read online articles?

How is the value discovery of online articles reflected? Who would read the so-called novels produced by AI systems in large quantities and on assembly lines?

"Novel", "painting", "sculpture", "calligraphy" whose creators are not even human beings...who the hell would appreciate it?

Humanistic attributes are the first attribute of human development and the ultimate unchanging core goal. All technologies are for humanistic attributes.

The greatest purpose of the development of science and technology is to allow human beings to experience spiritual aesthetics to the maximum extent. Literature and art are the core strength that resists the materialization and solidification of human beings.

Is it okay not to insist on some things?

We can't change anything, but we can maintain some persistence.

Of course it's good to make money. But the question is, if it's just to make money, why should I write a book? I can make more money if I don't write a book.

Some people think that I am too stingy and reluctant to spend money. This is not true. It has nothing to do with being stingy.

Being so stubborn, the result is that neither "Yuan Yuan" nor "The Medicine Master of Shenzhou" became blockbuster hits.

There is also a silver alliance in Zangyuan, which may be rewarded by Yuewen operation. The medicine owner of Shenzhou does not have a silver alliance, let alone a gold alliance.

In addition, there are too few advertising recommendations, and the time spent running naked is too long, so the data makes me sad. It is good to be able to write about high-quality products.

When it comes to investment and return, it is indeed disproportionate, and it can be regarded as "more work, less gain", but I still have a sense of accomplishment when I can successfully finish a novel.

If you reward a few silver alliances yourself and collect two to three hundred thousand or ten thousand orders, it is not without hope.

The next book will still not earn money. I won’t give myself a monthly vote because I feel that my monthly vote should avoid my own book.

Is this idea hopeless? (A psychiatrist can analyze it)

……………………

Let’s talk about this book.

I won't go into details about the advantages of "Medicine Master". Many people have praised it. The biggest advantage is nothing more than character creation and plot arrangement. The biggest disadvantage is the imbalance of the power system!

Yes, the imbalance of the power system made the writing of this book very difficult in the later stages!

I once worked as a shooter for a certain "Internet literary elite" and wrote cultivation novels for several months. I am still confident that I can handle themes such as fairy tales and fantasy. The writing of "Medicine Master" is quite skillful.

Before writing, "The Medicine Master" was well prepared. Although there was no detailed outline, the outline was very detailed and the main plot and characters were set up early.

There are no big holes in the story structure, plot arrangement, and logical self-consistency, and there are no major problems in reasoning.

But precisely, there was a big problem with the power system that I paid the least attention to!

The areas that are least valued are very important!

Specifically, in the lowest warrior stage, the strength is very high. In the later stage, the battle is difficult to write.

Fights below the level of the Martial Saint can still be written vividly and vividly, but at the level of the Martial Saint, they can only be expressed through virtual writing of artistic conception and imagery.

When it comes to Mahayana, the expression of artistic conception and imagery cannot express the excitement of Mahayana real-person fighting.

When it comes to the Earth Immortal, it’s even more difficult to describe the battle. You can’t raise your hand to shatter the stars, right? That doesn’t fit the setting in the book either.

So in the later stages, I could only try to avoid writing about battles.

However, as a fairy tale, the combat system is a very important aspect. The tasks it undertakes are irreplaceable, and it is also an important scene that enhances the sense of substitution and refreshing experience.

This is indeed a great pity.

The plot and foreshadowing of "The Medicine Master" unfold gradually in the later stages, which is actually better than the middle and early stages. I believe this is the consensus of book lovers. However, in terms of combat and confrontation, it is not as good as the middle and early stages. This is the reason.

This makes the whole book less confrontational!

That's right, even though each of Jiang Yao's enemies is stronger and harder to defeat than the last, the combat antagonism does not become stronger as the enemy becomes stronger.

In the later stages, antagonism can no longer be effectively demonstrated through battle scenes. Confrontation can only be carried out through conceptual collision, strategic layout, ideology and other fields. There are very few battles.

This makes the book miss a very important point of view. It gives readers a feeling:

"Although the plot is complex and ups and downs, and the characters are good, it is not refreshing and passionate enough. It is not soul-stirring, and it lacks the hearty, heart-wrenching joy."

Brother Yao's growth seems to be too smooth. In fact, it is not smooth. It is just because there are relatively few hard scenes of fighting during the growth process, so it seems too smooth.

If more intense personal confrontations such as hard battles, bloody battles, and wars were arranged, his rise would have been much more bumpy and difficult.

The reason is that the power system is unbalanced and there are too few high-intensity battles in the book.

Of course, I am not really suitable for writing about fighting, especially realistic descriptions. When I write about fighting, I tend to write in a stream-of-consciousness way.

The stream-of-consciousness battle writing method is actually more difficult, but I am actually better at it.

But the problem is, for low-level monks like warriors and Wu Zun, I just write about stream of consciousness and various artistic conceptions at every turn. So when it comes to the combat stage of high-level monks, should I write about fists and swords that touch the flesh and bones?

This is a big lesson. If you write about similar topics in the future, you must study the power system carefully.

There are many shortcomings in this book. After all, its level is too limited.

Because I want to innovate and break the routine. Many places in the book are anti-routine, and even deliberately go against the routine.

This makes the book suffer greatly.

At least for now, it is still "only routines can win people's hearts." If you want to break the routines and write a clear stream, the result will only be a gurgling stream, and it will never become a mighty river.

For example, pretending to be cool and slapping people in the face, and attracting hatred are very routine, and the author will blush when writing them. However, it cannot be denied that even if this routine is written ten thousand times, the market will still accept it.

You think routines can really make money.

However, even in the next book, I will try my best to go against the routine.

"The Medicine Master" and "The Burial Yuan" are not companion volumes, but two independent works that are slightly related. The two books do not interfere with each other.

"Burial of the Yuan Dynasty" has a somewhat phenomenal influence, which can be regarded as increasing the popularity of historical literature in the late Song Dynasty and early Yuan Dynasty.

Before "Burial of the Yuan Dynasty", Qidian rarely had online articles from the late Song Dynasty and the early Yuan Dynasty, because this era was very unpopular and risky.

Most historical authors write about the Ming Dynasty. But the Ming Dynasty has long been written badly, and the general category of historical writing is still clear...

But after "The Burial of the Yuan Dynasty", many novels from the late Song Dynasty and the early Yuan Dynasty were published, some of which were very popular, which can be regarded as catching up from behind.

Although "Yuan Yuan" is not a big hit, it has many followers. In this sense, "Yuan Yuan" is better than "Yao Zhu" because "Yao Zhu" failed to attract authors who follow the trend.

But in fact, those who have watched "Medicine Master" will know that the story, characters, and narrative of "Medicine Master" are definitely improved compared to "Yuan Yuan".

The history is well written, but the sudden jump to Xianxia also lost many old readers of history.

Therefore, we cannot say that "Yuan Yuan" is better written than "Yao Zhu".

As for the originally planned trilogy of the heavenly chapter "The God of Changle" (the human chapter "Burial Yuan"; the earthly chapter "The Medicine Master"; and the heavenly chapter "The God of Changle")), this plan has been cancelled.

I feel that the Heavenly Chapter "The God of Changle" can no longer stimulate my greater interest in writing.

Perhaps one day in the future, the Heavenly Chapter "Changle God" may be born.

The next book will be a completely unrelated story.

However, I still want to talk about what I originally planned to write about the Tian chapter "The God of Changle", and give an explanation to the book friends who care about the Tian chapter.

The original plan for "The God of Changle" was that the protagonist was Jiang Yin, who was reincarnated in the Changle Immortal World. The story probably went like this:

"Jiang Yin owed a huge love debt because of his romantic past in his previous life, which triggered a catastrophe of cause and effect.

In order to eliminate disasters and solve problems, he can only practice the "Jueqing Tian Jing" in Changle Immortal Realm in this life, cut off the cause and effect of love, not be close to women, be pure and have few desires, cannot be tempted by women, and cannot enjoy ease, otherwise he will be plagued by disasters.

.

But the problem is that the legendary Changle Immortal World turns out to be a world of entertainment and sexual indulgence, not a spiritual home where consciousness lasts forever.

The cultivation resources here are extremely rich and everything is available. The monks don't have to worry about resources at all. They are extremely satisfied materially and there is no absolute poverty.

However, the monks here are extremely spiritually barren. They only know about pleasure and indulgence, and the relationship between men and women is extremely promiscuous. There are many monks who have multiple Taoist partners, frequently change Taoist partners, and even share Taoist partners.

Most of the battles and killings among monks were caused by love, jealousy, anger and lust.

This sounds like the world of Changle, but it is actually a terrifying world of lust.

Jiang Yin was reborn in the Changle Immortal World. In order to eliminate the karma of cause and effect, he had to be pure in this world...

He became an anomaly in this world because of his "purity and self-discipline", so this unique man successfully attracted the attention of several big shots (females)..."

Look, this is the story of Jiang Yin in "The God of Changle".

"Bian Yuan" talks about saving the nation, "Medicine Master" talks about saving the world, and "Changle God" talks about saving the spirit!

Therefore, "Changle God" has a higher intention, a larger theme, and is more difficult to write.

(Do I look like a child wearing a hat as big as a footbath?)

This is also why the protagonist of "The God of Changle" will be played by Jiang Yin, a romantic and even sentimental person, because the first is a philosophical metaphor, the second is a contrast, and the third is an allegory.

Changle, Changle, what is the real Changle? This is what "The God of Changle" wants to express.

However, how many people will read this kind of online novel with a critical mission? It is even more difficult to write it happily.

But it is easy to write it in a thankless way. This is definitely a project that is tiring to write and risky at the same time.

I would be happy if someone could write this fan story.

But I myself will not be able to write "The God of Changle" for at least two years.

……………………

Let’s talk about the new book.

From "The Burial Yuan" to "The Medicine Master", the two books are nearly 6 million words and took three years to write.

On the same day that "Burial Yuan" was finished, "Medicine Master" started to be written. It was equivalent to three consecutive years without a day off, more than a thousand days and nights, part-time coding, and only a handful of requests for leave.

I have been writing part-time for three consecutive years, and my health has been greatly affected.

As long as you write online articles conscientiously and persistently, the damage to your health will be immediate and impossible to avoid. The difference is just a matter of degree.

Writing online articles for a long time is definitely a work mode with health risks, especially part-time.

All my leisure time after work is occupied by writing at my desk for several years.

I have to go to the hospital to seek medical advice this week.

Since writing this, I have been to the hospital more times than in the past twenty years combined.

However, deep down in my heart I don't feel any regret at all, really not at all.

When I think of the two masterpieces that have been successfully completed, and of the strong support from enthusiastic book friends over the past three years, I feel nothing but joy.

Life spans only a few decades, and the passing geese leave behind their photos and the wind leaves behind their voices. What can I ask for, and why should I fear death?

However, I really need to take a break this time.

All I can do is press the pause button.

However, the new book will definitely be available to everyone by the end of the year (before the Spring Festival) at the latest. I hope that friends who are still willing to support me will not forget me and wait patiently for my return.

Dear, wait for me to come back during the snowy season.

When I come today, it is raining and snowing.

The genre of the new book has not yet been completely decided and is still being hesitated.

But no matter what I write in the new book, I will write it as seriously as ever.

Finally, once again, I would like to thank everyone for your support, especially Xia Xia Xiaoyuer and others, thank you for your hard work.

Goodbye, my dear book friends, love to you all.

All is well!

Martial hunting.

Appendix (Special Instructions):

It’s no longer popular to write extra chapters. Looking through all kinds of finished men’s videos online, there are very few books writing extra chapters.

It turns out that too many extras will affect the subscription after the completion. There are many extras for "Burial Yuan", and they are free. As a result...

As a result, there must be at least 100,000 fewer subscriptions (at least).

So nowadays, most authors no longer write extras at the end, and there are even fewer free extras.

From an 'artistic' point of view, in order to leave appropriate blank space, it is not advisable to write too many extras to limit readers' imagination.

I don't like endings that deliberately leave suspense, but the ending of the story is so clear that it's not beautiful.

However, there is not even a single extra chapter, and I feel sorry for my book friends.

So, after thinking about it, I only wrote one extra story, and it was still free. Although there was only one extra story of less than 4,000 words, it actually filled in a lot of pitfalls.

Thank you again for your support, understanding, tolerance and companionship!

With the most sincere wishes, I wish you all good health and all the best.

Goodbye with tears, no sleep tonight.

Your friend: Martial Hunter.
