Unknowingly, I have written a bit too much in my speech, so please bear with me and read it...
Yes, this book is indeed finished!
To be honest, when I finished coding the last word last night, I had so many mixed feelings that I reviewed the draft three times in a row without even clicking to publish it.
However, it was eventually posted.
After I finished posting, I felt extremely mixed, some were worried and some were relieved.
Then I didn't think about anything and went straight to sleep.
I also read the questions raised by the brothers in the group, and some people in the comment area also said it was over hastily.
But what I want to say is that the ending is exactly what I expected.
When ‘Lando’ becomes the strongest in the Transcendence level, the main plot is over, and there is no need to continue writing it later.
I actually originally planned to place the plot of the return of the gods after the protagonist returns from the dimensional universe and before heading to the real world.
But I re-examined it later and felt that with the Arcane Emperor sitting in charge, the only way to bring the gods back to a reasonable state is for the ancient gods who once transcended the arcane universe to return, thus leading to the awakening of the gods.
This is actually very difficult. I once mentioned in the book that one of the purposes of the Arcane Emperor leaving the Arcane Universe was to find traces of the ancient gods, which was actually to hunt them down.
In this situation, it is the choice that the arcane master would make to continuously bleed the divine world to nourish the arcane empire, instead of releasing them to kill indiscriminately.
Regarding the shadow and destiny, I have actually already thrown my head around it. According to the setting in the previous novel, the shadow is a key character that does not exist in it.
A simple summary is that Sombra's son is the protagonist of that book.
Regarding his follow-up, I will write an extra chapter later to briefly explain it. If you are interested, you can take a look at it then.
As for the protagonist’s time travel, you can actually regard it as a cosmic miracle.
Originally I also designed another scene, probably after Lando left the fairy world, he perceived that there was a huge universe connected with himself in the depths of the multiverse sea. That was the place of his birth! Maybe one day in the future,
He will embark on a journey to find his true... hometown!'
But it felt a little inappropriate to end it with this kind of bridge, so I deleted it and chose the ending like this.
…
…
Let’s talk about the book itself.
The writing at the beginning is indeed too novice. Not only is it a cliche knight-to-mage start, but it also makes a lot of mistakes.
If I were to rewrite the beginning from my current perspective, it would probably be...
The initial world where the protagonist descends should be changed to a science fiction world in the near future, so that it is more consistent with the Silver Tower.
Then when the protagonist is about to fight with Goldfinger, he suddenly learns that there is such an unreasonable thing as a magic academy in the world.
Then there is the growth of the state scholar route, during which you will encounter the three forces of the resistance, the world government, and the magic academy.
Swinging left and right in their different opinions, they gradually discovered the truth of the world, and finally left the world and joined the Silver Tower.
In the future, you can also re-intervene in the disputes in the initial world as a Silver Tower genius to resolve the conflicts between the three parties.
The whole process is about 50,000 words, so not only will the plot be smoother, but various aspects of the worldview can also be introduced smoothly, instead of being as stiff, cliche, and abrupt as the beginning of the book.
I have said the subsequent story more than once. The reason why I frequently switch to different styles of worlds is mainly because my results at that time were not very satisfactory. I did not think about continuing to improve. I just regarded this book as a training book. Take a look.
What kind of writing style suits you?
This is why I only asked for a monthly pass for a few days when this book was first released, and then only asked for a subscription for a few days when the average subscription dropped to the point where I could barely get full attendance.
Of course, not asking for votes doesn’t mean that I don’t take this book seriously!
Every world, every setting, every story line in the book has been carefully considered by me. If the writing is not good, it only shows that my level is limited, not that I am not serious. (Proud akimbo.jpg)
After coding for so long, I think I have grown somewhat, such as the writing style, the plot, and the chapters...
I would also like to thank all book friends for their strong support. Many book friends really vote for me every day, and they will vote for me immediately every time there is a monthly vote! Touched!!
Without your company, this book would have ended long ago.
This book was created on May 21, 2021, and ended yesterday on January 25, 2023. It has gone through...well, more than a year.
Although there are not many updates every day, I have never stopped updating or asking for leave for a day. I insist on coding every day, which can be regarded as completing a small goal I set for myself at the beginning.
When I was not finishing the book, I fantasized more than once about how to write a "completion speech". Only when I finished the book did I realize that my words were so poor.
last of the last……
Thank you again for your support and companionship, all book friends, thank you!
As long as the adventure continues, one day we will meet again!
