Chapter 2698 Conflicts of big and small, benevolence, righteousness and courtesy

Wei Kang thinks he is very good.
It’s like a naughty child thinks he’s amazing.
The reason why naughty children are naughty children is not that they do not understand the truth, nor that they do not understand right or wrong, but that naughty children like to test on the edge and then challenge everyone's bottom line again and again to raise their status in the family and among the surrounding people.
This is actually the same as a dog trying to challenge the family status. If it cannot be effectively stopped at the beginning, the dog will challenge again and again until it becomes the "leader" of the family.
In fact, most naughty kids who go to society have already obtained the position of "leader" in their families through "challenges". A group of elders are surrounding the naughty kids and exempting them from responsibilities again and again with "just a child", which leads the naughty kids to mistakenly think that he does not have to bear any responsibility, and they are not satisfied with everyone around him. So the naughty kids start to try to cause trouble in society among all the people he can contact, just like a dog that shits and pisses everywhere and barks when he sees people.
Who can care about anything with a child?
Then the female fist came, and quietly added the word "female" in front of the child...
Ahem.
But what naughty children never know is that society cannot be tolerant like the family. No matter how fierce the parents are, they are still parents. In society, not everyone is the parents of naughty children...
For example, Wei Duan had a strict order before, prohibiting Wei Kang from running back to Chang'an secretly, but Wei Kang still ran back secretly this time.
Violating his father's orders was no big deal in Wei Kang's opinion.
At worst, I can be scolded again...
If you are in trouble and really can't do it, you will be beaten up and it will be almost done.
If it doesn't work, just two beats?
As for the issue of heirs or something, although it is indeed terrible, Wei Kang thought that it was impossible.
Although Wei Duan said that if Wei Kang makes any mistakes, the position of Wei Kang's heir will be revoked, but if this heir is not given to Wei Kang, who can he give it to? Could it be given to the disabled in the family? Isn't this a laughing stock of the Chang'an gentry? Wei Kang can be shameless, but he thinks that his father is shameless, so he can always take advantage of those who want shamelessly.
What's more, Wei Kang felt that what he was doing now was extremely correct!
Is Qiao Bing a good person? It's not that Qiao Bing not only indulged his tribe members in Sichuan and Sichuan, but also arrogant and domineering in the God Temple in the five directions. There are even rumors that he killed people without proper means in the temple.
So can such a person become a representative of the scriptures? If he is discovered and revealed after the scriptures are completed, wouldn’t he lose the face of the cavalry? He is anxious about what the cavalry wants, and takes the initiative to share the worries of the cavalry. Is this also wrong?
Wei Kang looked through the relevant materials delivered by the middle messenger and was very satisfied.
But no matter how satisfied he is, he still seems to have no meaning to knock Qiao Bing to death with one stick.
Sometimes, laws and regulations, no matter which feudal dynasty, are all downward, that is, to regulate the lower level. As for the middle and upper level feudal officials, they are not very applicable in most cases. For example, an official who is too small to be even smaller and hits an ordinary pedestrian while drinking and riding a horse, will give him three days to see if the officials can solve this problem by themselves. If it is solved, there will be nothing, and the ones that cannot be solved will be processed in the law.
The same is true for Qiao Bing's problem.
Is there any problem with Qiaobing?
have.
But there are many officials in question...
In the feudal dynasty, how many officials dared to pat their chests and shouted that they had no problem at all? Didn’t eat more meals or get more penny?
And in many cases, because people's wisdom has not yet been opened, some things cannot be reasonable to ordinary people.
For example, when building roads and opening mountains, some people said that I had a grave. Then they said that they would give a subsidy, one hundred, and moved the grave. Then some people felt that since they were willing to give a hundred, they could give a thousand. So they regretted that they would need one thousand. Then they said that they would need one thousand. When they heard that they could discuss, some people felt that they wanted less. Since one thousand could discuss, then can they discuss ten thousand, one hundred thousand, one million, ten million, or even hundreds of millions?
Of course, there are also some officials who think that some people may not make sense anyway, so they are too lazy to talk about the ones that make sense at the beginning, so they use the toughest means when they come up.
Time is tight and the tasks are heavy, and each layer is pressed down. If the superiors try to save trouble, will the subordinates naturally save trouble?
If you become serious, which of these officials in the feudal dynasty has clean hands?
Different butt positions and different observation angles.
Therefore, if Wei Kang relies on these materials and evidence, it may not be able to achieve the effect Wei Kang wants to achieve.
Wei Kang wanted to make Qiao Bing fall, and he wanted to collapse very quickly before teaching the scriptures, rather than just stumble.
Only in this way can Wei Kang have the opportunity to become the new religious leader...
Wei Kang put down the evidence in his hand, then closed his eyes and calculated.
If Qiao Bing falls, then there will be no more and more involved in the God's temple in the five directions. Not to mention those deputy positions who are deeply involved with Qiao Bing, there will probably not be many of those who can stand up and make up for the vacancies in the temple.
And among the Three Auxiliary of Chang'an, how many can take over the banner of Tao Te Ching after Qiao Bing falls?
In fact, there are many people who are familiar with the Tao Te Ching, but either they are too old or have a high position, so Wei Kang believes that this is the best opportunity!
Compared with those people, the biggest advantage of myself is that I am young.
After all, who would be unable to get along with a child?
Wei Kang laughed, like a naughty kid who was expecting the prank to be successful soon.
Therefore, if Wei Kang wants to make Qiao Bing fall just right, he should add a fire to these materials.
The so-called "people do not procure officials" will not investigate. Now the question is how to find the people and how to take the right one...
…( ̄_, ̄)…
Without Butcher Zhang, would you have to eat a pig with hair?
Can you still find Butcher Chen?
Even Butcher Chen is a part-time job...
Seeing that the situation was not good, Zhang Shi ran away. Wei Kang secretly found Chen Ming, the Taoist priest who was criticized by Qiao and was based on the clues left by Zhang Shi.
Is Chen Ming so difficult for being criticized? It’s too big to say it’s too big to say it’s too small to say it’s too small to say it’s too small to say it’s too small to say it’s too small to say it’s too small to say it’s too small to say it’s too small to say it’s too small to say it’s too small to say it’s too small to say it’s too small to say it’s too small to say it’s too small to say it’s too small to say it’s too small to say it’s too small to say it’s too small to say it’s too small to say it’s too small to say it’s too small to say it’s too small to say it’s too small to say it’s too small to say it’s too small to say it’s too small to say it’s too small to say it’s too small to say it’s too small to say it’s too small to say it’s too small to say it’s too small to say it’s too small to
After all, there have been many such things throughout the ages, and they are even a little used to them.
In Qiao Bing's heart, what he did was not "make trouble", but declared the sovereignty of the territory, just like a tiger or a leopard or a dog peeing with his legs raised. Therefore, Qiao Bing believed that this was not a big deal, and it was also a common method used by many leaders. Choose an older one, with older ones and younger ones, and then improve yourself by suppressing the other party.
After all, if Chen Ming can't bear it, just get out?
Qiao Bing did not mean to stay in the Gods Temple in the Five Directions for the rest of his life, and he gave Chen Ming a lot of choice. Even Qiao Bing knew that Chen Ming had been a Taoist priest for so long, he no longer understood other ways of survival. This so-called choice of withdrawal actually means not.
Therefore, Qiao Bing felt that Chen Ming had only one choice, which was patience.
This is indeed the case.
Chen Ming did not resist and silently endured it.
But what Qiao was not clear was that silence did not mean that the person agreed, and not speaking did not mean that he agreed. However, as the leader of the God Temple in the five directions, he was used to thinking that others did not speak was acquiescent and recognition.
Wei Kang came to Chen Ming, and Chen Ming was also very moved, but Chen Ming still had doubts. He thought Wei Kang could not defeat him, so he refused to stand up and testify. However, Wei Kang was confident and asked Chen Ming to go back and wait in an understatement, saying that the turn of opportunity was about to appear...
Chen Ming was skeptical, but for him, if Wei Kang could really bring down Qiao Bing, he would not care about chasing the fallen dog, jumped up and kicked Qiao Bing, and then smashed a few stones.
It seems that everything is in peace...
On the other hand, although Qiao Bing himself learned about some of the family's affairs, well, there was only one. Until now, Qiao Bing still thought that the things in his family had not yet broken out and he still had a lucky mentality. Perhaps it was this lucky mentality that Qiao Bing even acted more diligent than usual. He worked tirelessly and spared no effort to teach scriptures and teaching scriptures, and was in charge of everything, wishing to do everything properly.
Among these things, the most important thing is to find the right sentence from the Tao Te Ching and turn it into the right ritual...
This is actually a bit troublesome.
Qiao Bing felt that the reason for the trouble was that Lao Tzu's core concept and Confucius faction that advocated etiquette were somewhat contradictory.
Insemination should be done with grand etiquette like the "Great Ceremony", and teaching scriptures is actually a bit contrary to my original intention.
China was the earliest, almost cheating.
Many people think that the social ideal of utopia is the Western trend of thought, but in fact, Lao Tzu proposed this point very early in his thoughts. Lao Tzu believes that the highest state of society is that everyone has "high virtue". The so-called high virtue naturally has no selfish desires, everything is for the public and for everyone. From a certain perspective, this is actually very similar to utopia.
So, what is very interesting is that in fact, many ideas of China had already sprouted when it was a school of thought. Lao Tzu, Confucius, Mo Zi, etc., Hua Xia was like a cheating at that time, standing at the intersection with countless forks in advance...
So much so that the ruling class at that time had too many choices, resulting in various choice syndromes.
My country's road is too difficult, Confucius's road is too hard, Mozi's road is too poor...
After picking and choosing, the seven kingdoms aimed at themselves and others, and then tentatively walked their own paths.
If you have a system and plug-in, you still have to use it, right?
And there are also pig teammates.
It is obvious that there are big kills here, but there is big Song special song there...
Just like Qiao Bing, he worked very hard to find etiquette norms that are consistent with the present from the Tao Te Ching, and then confirmed its correctness from the Book of Songs and the Analects of Confucius. However, his pig teammates at home had already started to give up their heads when he was working hard.
And in Chang'an, Qiao Bing was still holding his breath and trying hard to push the tower.
To combine the Tao Te Ching and ancient rituals to formulate the "Sutra Teaching Classic". There are two towers that need to be pushed down, one belongs to Lao Tzu and the other belongs to Confucius.
In Lao Tzu's "Tao Te Ching", "ritual" is relatively belittled, which is very different from Confucius' Confucianism's praise for "ritual".
Of course, this may be because the Tao Te Ching talks about morality, while Confucius talks more about "benevolence and etiquette".
Confucius believed that among the "Tao, virtue, benevolence, righteousness, and etiquette", the most important thing is the "ritual and music system" and the "ritual and optimistic concept". Confucius also made the most efforts in these two aspects, and also became the core concept in his ideological system that represents.
The culture of rituals and music is mainly based on rituals and music as the supplement. It is a ritual, system, ritual, and customs that gradually formed from the Zhou Dynasty and from the patriarchal culture of the tribe, including the customary laws and moral laws of the Zhou people.
As the Zhou people entered the slave society, the primitive equal and democratic factors in the Zhou ritual gradually faded, and the content of the hierarchy was constantly strengthened, but one thing was always consistent, that is, the blood ties were constantly ties, and family organizations and social and political organizations were united. After King Wu destroyed the Shang Dynasty, Zhou became the "common ruler of the world". In order to rule the vast Yellow River and Huai River basins, Zhou Gong carried out some reforms on the Zhou ritual, which was called "making rituals and music". With the promotion of the Zhou Dynasty, the Chinese society underwent a huge change during the Yin and Zhou dynasties.
This chapter is not finished yet, please click on the next page to continue reading the exciting content behind! So is "ritual" wrong?
Not, at least not distinguishing between simple right and wrong.
I said I don’t want etiquette, because etiquette is downward, but to talk about the superior virtue.
Confucius said that both the superiors and subordinates should be polite and have rules.
There are two important principles for Confucian etiquette, one is respect and honor. It is to distinguish people into many levels, maintain the respect of the nobles by the lowly, and recognize the privileges of the nobles.
The first thing is the king.
Another important principle is to kiss relatives, that is, love for relatives, which includes the kindness of father, son, filial son, brother, friend, and respect.
According to the principle of relatives, family interests are supreme. If relatives violate national laws, they should conceal rather than report them. "The father hides for the son and the son hides for the father, and it is all right in it."
The "ritual" was subsequently added, and gradually became a system of etiquette, etiquette, law, and legal system that represented the interests of the ruling class.
Because the ruling class of a private-owned society is superior to the interests of its own class, the etiquette laws formulated first protect private ownership and royal power. Therefore, it is often harmful to the working masses, and of course there is some binding force for the people of the aristocratic class who want to destroy and overthrow this etiquette.
It is undeniable that "ritual" also has some content and norms that regulate civil disputes, and is implemented by using state violent organs. However, people from all walks of life in society compete for their own interests and will naturally attempt to use this etiquette or avoid this etiquette, resulting in endless incidents of large and small violations of etiquette.
Lao Tzu said, "If you do the best etiquette and do not respond, you will rush your arms and throw them away."
Therefore, I don’t like “ritual”, he prefers “morality”.
The best way, the best virtue.
Is the highest good like water?
Benevolence, righteousness and propriety are all inferior.
Tao is relatively "pursuing" and the best ideal, and virtue is the concept that everyone should abide by.
My path is "morality".
Lao Tzu believed that in ancient times, people could consciously do things that were beneficial to society. Later, society made nominal progress, more alliances and more productive forces were developed, but they shouted loudly that people must be kind.
If you shout too much, no one will listen.
So I 'tucked my arms and threw them away'.
These two seem to have completely different directions, like the two sides of the conflict, and then make Qiao Bing in the middle very painful. If you ignore it at all, just do it casually, such as making an altar and putting flags in all directions, then what should Qiao Bing do? Find a craftsman, and the ground on the altar steps is not as straight as Qiao Bing.
Qiao Bing wants to find a supporting theory of the ritual. Just like the Qinglong Temple theory, there is a height, and this height can ensure that he will not lose his voice during the ritual and be easily replaced by others.
I have to say that Qiao Bing is not completely incapable. After he thought about it for several days, he suddenly burst into laughter because Qiao Bing suddenly saw a sentence, "Tao it with politics, general it with punishment, and people are exempted from shamelessness; Tao it with virtue, general it with courtesy, and shamefulness and character"...
"I've got it!" Qiao geng danced and said, "The superior virtue is not good, so there is virtue; the inferior virtue does not lose virtue, so there is no virtue! This is mutual communication! The original meaning is! Morality, benevolence, righteousness and propriety are actually the same!"
Qiao Bing laughed loudly, then asked someone to make two long banners in an hurry, which was to write the ten words "morality, benevolence, righteousness and propriety, actually the same as the same", and then it was used as the core element of the entire teaching ceremony.
Qiao Bing has the ability, but it does not mean that he has a good character.
Just like Lao Tzu and Confucius' words, it is precisely because of the lack of it that it is particularly demanding.
This is like a contradiction, conflicting at all times.
Qiao Bing is the same. He said every day that he should be kind, cultivate virtue, and worship Gods from all directions, and achieve good results in this life, but as a result, his butt is not clean. There are always some things that seem very complicated, but if he makes up his mind and implements them step by step, he will find that everything is not as difficult as he imagined. The key to success or failure depends on lack of the courage and strength to implement them in detail.
The things inside Qiao Bing's family are actually like Lao Tzu's morality and Confucius' benevolence. No matter which one you choose, you actually have the opportunity to change the fate of the Qiao family. But what is interesting is that Qiao Bing chose nothing.
Although Qiao Bing expressed on the stage that "morality, benevolence, righteousness and propriety are actually the same", in reality, he neither chose morality nor benevolence, righteousness and propriety.
He finally chose "interest".
