"Tao", "Cultivation", "People outside the world"...
Fei Qian wrote these words, then stopped writing and shook his head slightly.
The concept of "people outside the world" and other things actually did not come from Laozi, but from Zhuangzi, but from Laozi, but Laozi and Zhuangzi were not separated.
In fact, Laos and Zhuangzi are both lonely.
Confucius had a large group of disciples and apprentices, and Mozi had a vast army that did not attack, but there were not so many people around Lao Zhuang, either old cows or only butterflies. So Zhuangzi built four good friends whom he loved to be with?
Can you really transcend this "place" by saying that you are a "place outside"?
Obviously impossible.
It's just like increasing entropy.
The development of human society is intertwined. The further we go, the higher the level of productivity, the more mutually related. It is impossible to jump out of the way and truly gain transcendence.
Even if you return to the mountains and forests and isolate the world, clothes, food, utensils and utensils always rely on others. Unless they are Robinson who lives alone on a deserted island, most people cannot say that they are truly and completely transcend the world.
This is not to mention those fakes who practice in their mouths but miss the world in their hearts.
If you really want to pursue the outside world, have no demand for materials, but only pursue spiritual development, Fei Qian respects those who practice cultivation very much.
But the question now is, among these so-called pursuing practice, they always have to be invisible. Well, among the seclusion people, how many of them really follow the Laozi and Zhuangzi ideas, instead of waiting for the price, powering up and leaving the world to wait for the opportunity?
"The Tao needs to have Tao."
Fei Qian said softly.
The Taoist priests, or religious people in China, should be both born and entered the world, rather than using the reputation of outsiders to make money...
This point has never been clarified in the feudal dynasty.
Chinese people have a "circle" culture.
Speaking of which, this so-called "circle" seems very high-end, but in fact, it is simply the tribal sequelae caused by human social needs.
Of course, it is easier for people from the same tribe to speak. For those from another tribe, of course, they are laymen, outsiders, or those who don’t know what to do...
When Fei Qian first promoted the Five-Directional God Cult, it was to better tolerate the chaotic god system and local beliefs in China. After all, China is too big. There are customs in various places and various myths and legends. If you say that from a certain religion, Ala is the only one, and other evil gods are all evil gods, let alone whether those people who are used to the local religious god system will believe it. Just talking about the conflict that will form in this way will cause Fei Qian to encounter various unexpected resistances when expanding outward.
Feiqian needs a religious force that can help and provide support for the expansion of Chinese civilization to the outside world, rather than a religion that can do all kinds of things and then cause conflicts within the region.
Therefore, after the original expansion, we must enter the norm.
With the expansion of religious influence, the establishment of the overall religious system has become increasingly urgent.
In the final analysis, religion is for people.
It is people who spread it, people who believe it, people who worship it, and people who practice it.
Religion does not have much meaning after getting rid of humans. After all, humans will not care or study whether there is a religious system in a group of ants or bees.
Since you are a human being, you will inevitably be unable to get rid of human nature.
Wealth, status.
four cardinal vices.
If a person who is outside the world accidentally bursts out, the stimulation is enough, but it is easy to go to extremes.
So, take the exam...
Fei Qian felt that if he was undecided, he would decide the exam.
Or it is called a mule or a horse, pull it out and slip it out...
As for the system of sacrificial certificates, it is actually not appropriate, because the person who sacrificial certificates does not have to pay taxes, which forms the soil formed by religious landlords.
As long as you take the exam, there is no need for a certificate.
Just like using exams to screen talents, you may not be able to get a good position immediately after passing the exam, and you must sit up from a small official.
The imperial examinations in later generations often became a bad policy that many people mocked, but it is undeniable that the imperial examination system ensured that the feudal dynasty in the Chinese state had officials for a long time, so that they would not be monopolized and controlled by the great gentry.
Isn’t this the same truth as the “people outside the world”?
The inheritance model of Chinese Taoist practitioners is actually somewhat similar to the disciple system before the Han Dynasty. One master has a lot of disciples, and then everyone is a brother and brother. One sect excludes another sect and one mountain fights against another. Then when the mountain grows, it causes trouble, just like the three brothers of Zhang Jiao, the five dou sect of Zhang Lu, and a large group of white lotus, Maitreya, etc. These people completely deviate from Lao Zhuang and use the name of religion to seek benefits for themselves, with all kinds of harm but no benefits.
If there is an examination system and the central government standardizes the practice standards, on the one hand, this preaching model of forming clans will undergo some fundamental changes, just like officials will escape from the gentry families. On the other hand, it will also reduce the soil for the birth of some cults. Religious people without official "certification" will naturally have no soil for preaching.
Of course, this will also have disadvantages, but just like the imperial examinations, it can only be said that things should be viewed in two ways, measured and used. Before finding the best method, the existing plan is naturally the best strategy.
"Zuo Yuanfang..." Fei Qian looked at the words he wrote and smiled slightly, "Let's see if you can be of great use..."
Fei Qian gave this matter to Zuo Ci, but it did not mean that Fei Qian himself could be lazy. He also had to think about it, generally forming his own ideas, and then colliding with the ideas provided by Zuo Ci and others, or integrating, or correcting them.
A person who has no subjective thoughts is easily influenced by others, and this is not just about religion...
But now, we need to prepare the ceremony for the Buddhist scriptures first. We cannot be arrested because of Qiao Ge. Zuo Ci has not taken over yet.
…( ̄o ̄).zZ…
With Zuo Ci as the backbone, many things can be carried out.
Let’s not talk about the character and temperament of Qiao Bing, but just talking about the preparations he made to obtain the scriptures before, he can indeed be called a talent.
In fact, the great ceremony of obtaining scriptures has basically taken the form of the Grand Ceremony of Later generations to a greater or lesser extent.
People are forced out, and Dajiao is actually forced out.
The Grand Ceremony appeared in the Tang Dynasty and was recorded in history in Emperor Suzong of Tang. It was the first "Luotian Grand Ceremony". Emperor Suzong of Tang was descended from Emperor Xuanzong of Tang, and was the position of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang robbed by Emperor Xuanzong of Tang through means...
Just as Emperor Taizong of Tang obtained the throne through means and then needed a brand new religious system to justify himself, Buddhism for Emperor Taizong of Tang was Taoism for Emperor Xuanzong of Tang.
The so-called "big" means the Luotian world, which contains everything, and the so-called "ritual" means sacrifice, and the three animals are worshipped.
Of course, at present, there is no so-called "Luotian", only "five directions". After holding such a great ceremony, some people will indeed improve their health. It seems like the blessings of gods in the great ceremony, but in fact, it is just that the people who participated in the great ceremony received extra food.
You should know that in the feudal dynasty, most of the poor people basically struggled on the hunger line every day, not the so-called food and clothing line, nor the well-off line.
Therefore, the Dajuan is to say it is a simpler thing, which is to treat guests to dinner. This "guest" certainly refers to various gods and immortals, which is called "exercise".
For those who have never had experience in large-scale events, how to hold and do it well is a big problem. Organizational science in later generations was a discipline, and in feudal dynasties, this may be the exclusive "secret" that some people rely on for their survival. Some people even gained the favor of the emperor because of their agenda of the "Luotian Da Ceremony".
Zuo Ci did not make any too many changes to the process formulated by Qiaoge, but only made some minor changes to indicate the change of the host. The rest are generally carried out according to the process formulated by Qiaoge, burning incense, opening the altar, praying, raising banners, proclaiming, filth, asking the saints, giving scriptures, falling banners, sending saints, setting the saints, giving saints, blessings, etc.
In each link, there are also prescribed movements and music, similar to the team list performances in later generations...
Of course, in Taoism, it is like stepping on Yu and stepping on Gang and fight.
That said, it seems nothing strange?
Don’t forget that this is in the big man. Not to mention the delineated team list, just a marching queue can make the people who lack entertainment shout and tremble with excitement.
Since we want the people to participate in such activities, of course the most important thing is to inform them. Of course, it is impossible to say that you can post a notice or send a small official to knock on the door door. If you really do this, the gods will lose more money?
The people must come to "sacrifice" automatically and willingly, so before the entire ceremony, parade the streets first.
The Taoist priest wore a Taoist robe of five colors and followed a banner of five colors representing the Gods of the five directions. He looked solemn and had a neat line. He either held various magical instruments, whisks, copper bowls, copper bells, or prayer flags in his hands. He set out from the five directions of Taoist temples, left Chang'an City, then passed the Weishui Bridge, bypassed Changling, Anling and other tombs, and then returned to Chang'an.
This walk is a daytime.
Have lunch?
What a joke? In the Han Dynasty, who dared to blatantly eat something at lunch except the emperor? Even if it was the cavalry and the children of aristocratic families, they would replace it with a snack and never dared to say that they wanted to have three meals. So the Taoist priest used early dried rice before going out in the morning, and only used late dried rice after returning to the temple in the evening.
Do you need to pee on the road?
I didn't drink water all the way, my feet were tired all the time, and the autumn was clear and the climate was dry, so few people felt tempted to urinate.
It is really tiring to do this, but no Taoist priest said that he was working too hard and wanted to lie down and give up.
On the one hand, because of the incident of Qiaobing, Taoist priests in the five-sided Taoist temples were naturally trembling. They would not miss the opportunity to show their performance after finally having the opportunity to show up. On the other hand, this time when they were traveling, they could walk on the central official road that only officials could walk on. Moreover, those officials who were arrogant in the daily life still needed to give way when they saw them, instead of giving way...
In the imperial examination halls in Chang'an, the top three high school students can parade on the streets or call it a praising street, which is the only glory for candidates to have once in their lives. The same is true for these Taoists, who may have walked this time in their lives. There is no doubt that if there was no next ceremony to obtain scriptures or similar ceremonies, these Taoists would probably not have the chance to walk on this central official road for the second time, so even if these Taoists worked hard, they would have no complaints.
Before each time, the queue will pause a little before the incense tables arranged in Lifang. On the one hand, it is to rectify the queue, so that the formation that becomes somewhat loose and distorted as it moves will be reorganized. On the other hand, it is also to "bless" Lifang. Under the guidance of the Taoist priest, he will recite scriptures on the archway of Lifang or at the gate, and then paste two talismans and sprinkle some water. At this time, the flags of five colors will move in one direction, and the momentum is really great, which will attract people near the gang to lie on the ground and worship the majesty of God on Friday.
But when you leave the Lifang gate and walk on the street, it will turn from solemn to lively. The wide Chang'an Street is filled with men, women, young and old. If it weren't for the soldiers sent by the cavalry and the patrol to maintain order, I'm afraid these people who watch the fun will be full of roads.
The people basically didn't know the wind and thunder in the five-sided temples and the officialdom in Chang'an, nor did they know that such a grand ceremony was actually planned by Qiao Bing, and then Zuo Ci picked up a bargain and made wedding clothes for Zuo Ci for nothing.
For these people, having fun can watch may be the happiest thing they are most concerned about, and it is all they care about. As for which hen that lays the egg or the melon, it doesn't seem to matter at all.
The people who came to the scriptures were also among the people. They were inspected and guarded by soldiers and were able to stand in front of the cross streets of Chang'an without being pushed or trampled by the people. When the queue of Gods from the five directions arrived in front of them, although it was not a formal teaching of the classics, these people who came to the scriptures were already so excited that they could not themselves. They just expressed their excitement by kneeling down and bowing.
DeGranzi's forehead was kowtowed on the stone slab, and it was already bloody. But under this situation, no one would feel that DeGranzi and the others were suffering, or even looked at them with envious gaze. Even though their foreheads were broken and blood flowed to their faces, they were still talking about how lucky they were.
The queue of Gods in the five directions slowly continued to move forward.
DeGranzi stood up slowly, then wiped the blood left on his forehead with his sleeve. It was just that his forehead was broken. Now it seemed that he had a lot of blood, but it would actually stop in a while.
"I...I won't go back..." DeGranzi whispered.
"Yes, after taking the scriptures, we can reply...uh?" Only then did the people around Degrangzi react, "Prince, what did you say just now? Is it reply...or..."
"Not going back." DeGranzi clenched his fists, as if this would give him more courage. "I want to study in Chang'an. You can bring back the scriptures first..."
DeGranzi took a long breath and repeated, "I won't go back first, I want to learn these from the Han people, these... not just this scripture..." DeGranzi paused, following the tail of the five-way God's queue, "Do you know? Every day here, I feel that we were wasting too much over there... what was wasted time! The Han people have too many things, and I need to learn... Only by learning can we truly understand! Otherwise, what we take back will be just a scripture! These from the Han people are the true scriptures in the true scriptures!"
The people around DeGranzi looked at each other and said at the same time, "Then we will accompany you too!"
"No! You are going back. You have obtained the scriptures and you are going back!" DeGranzi turned around and looked at the little friends in the snowy area that followed him, "I am actually very ashamed... I stayed, but I want you to walk back with great difficulty..."
DeGranzi reached out and grabbed his companion's sleeve, "But only when you go back can you tell the scriptures, all the things we have seen in the snow, and tell them that this day is very big, this place is very big..."
"Can we bring more people out! Come out!" DeGranzi's eyes were a little wet. I don't know if it was because the excitement of the queue of Gods in the five directions outside was not gone, or his current mood was rekindled. "We... need these so much... For example, mills. We don't have mills, but how many talents are there in mills? There is not a tribe! Grinding wheat and barley requires walking dozens of miles with cattle and horses! And here, in Chang'an? After leaving the gate, you can find a restaurant at most 500 steps, and you can buy grocery stores! The scriptures are a mill, a good mill! If I go back, at most it is like taking back a mill! But is this mill enough for us? We need more! More!"
"So I want to stay," DeGranzi's voice was excited, but his face was very firm. "I not only wanted to bring a mill, but also learned how to build one, two, and more mills! After you go back, you must also tell our people to come to Chang'an, learn the knowledge of the Han people together, and bring more mills to your hometown in the future!"
"But... Prince, you... in this way... you..." The friends looked around and seemed to be hesitant.
That's right, DeGranzi came to Chang'an at first. Although he said it was for the true scriptures, it was actually for the restoration of his own tribe, or the word restoration was inappropriate and resurrected?
DeGranzi's tribe was defeated in the snow-capped battle.
DeGranzi couldn't find hope in the snowy area, so he came to Chang'an to death. On the one hand, if he could seek the true scriptures, he would become a missionary priest of the Han people. At least no one dared to do it easily in the snowy area, and his life would be more guaranteed. On the other hand, if he could get the support of the Han people, he could revitalize his tribe...
