Chapter 40 Yuan Shu’s Plan

At this time, Yuan Shu was presenting to Yuan Wei the plan that he had been thinking about all night yesterday.

Yuan Wei looked through the pages quietly. Although there was no expression on his face, he was quite satisfied in his heart. He designed a complete set of steps from launch to retreat overnight with just one person. Although there were still some shortcomings,

It can be considered that all aspects have been taken care of, and overall, the flaws do not hide the advantages.

While watching, Yuan Wei asked: "What do you say about Cao A'hao?" - How do you convince Cao Cao to participate in this matter?

Yuan Shu replied: "Cao Cao has been fond of taking risks since he was a child, and he has a very good reputation. Therefore, Shu said that although the emperor is deposed, the new emperor will not last long. This move is no less than an unparalleled achievement. Cao will definitely take the bait."

——Although the Young Emperor has been deposed, the new Emperor will not be in power for long. If the Young Emperor comes back, then you, Cao Cao, will have made unparalleled achievements!

"Why do you want to seek help from Cao Cao?" Yuan Wei then asked. Then why, Yuan Shu, didn't you do this kind of good deed yourself and asked Cao Cao?

"The palace is in chaos and the matter is urgent, so it must be done by Cao Cao." - There is someone in Cao Cao's palace who can know where the deposed emperor is. Otherwise, the matter is so urgent, there is no time to go to each palace to find it.

Yuan Wei nodded, agreed with Yuan Shu's words, and asked: "When will it be launched?"

"At the time of late cooking, people are leaving the city, so it is easy to hide." In ancient times, there were two meals a day, and the late cooking time was about 3 to 5 p.m. At this time, people entering the city began to leave, otherwise they would wait until the sun came in.

You can't get out without closing the city gate, so it's better to blend in with the crowd and hide your whereabouts.

Yuan Wei put down the scroll, looked at Yuan Shu, and said expressionlessly: "What do you think is the chance of winning this matter?"

"If Cao Cao asked, I would say there is an 80% chance of winning," Yuan Shu paused, "But Shu knew in his heart that he would definitely lose a point!"

"Good!" Yuan Wei was not surprised when he heard this. Instead, he smiled slightly. He then pointed out a few shortcomings in Yuan Shu's plan and improved them. He asked Yuan Shu to retreat and prepare, and wrote the plan written by Yuan Shu.

The book was placed in the brazier that had been prepared long ago and burned clean.

If Yuan Wei hadn't kept emphasizing the retreat yesterday, Yuan Shu might have really thought that he was trying to save the deposed emperor. However, after going back and thinking about it carefully, he realized that his uncle Yuan Kui mostly talked about the retreat, and that he could succeed or fail.

, but there is no mention of how to deal with the emperor. After all, if it was done together with Cao Cao, and if the emperor was really rescued, then the emperor couldn't get half of it, right?

Therefore, Yuan Shu concluded that what Yuan Wei meant was that just making a gesture was enough, and there was no need to actually kidnap the deposed emperor. In this way, the risk was reduced to a minimum, and he could enjoy the increase in reputation brought by this move.

.

After all, if the young emperor Liu Bian was really kidnapped, it would be strange if Dong Zhuo didn't go crazy; but it was just a noise, and the deposed emperor was safe and sound, so it wouldn't be a big deal.

Then Cao Cao was the best person to take the blame. Yuan Wei's original words were "let him take charge." So if someone is held accountable, the leader will naturally take the blame. If he doesn't take the blame, will he still be threatened?

Can't you memorize it? Who told you that Cao Cao understands the terrain, is capable, and has an eye in the palace? You said that our Yuan Shu was also involved?

That was just being led astray and deceived by Cao Cao. Cao Cao was the one who committed the most heinous crimes...

In the final analysis, Yuan Shu just needs fame and does not need a useless deposed emperor. Yuan Shao did not support the deposed emperor and resigned. He was praised by some Qingliu as caring about the country and daring to act. Now Yuan Shu went one step further and actually wanted to

Taking a huge risk to save the deposed emperor from fire and water, what a touching feeling and what a noble virtue?

In this way, Yuan Shu's position as the future head of the family, which was shaken by Yuan Shao's departure, will be stabilized again, and Yuan Wei has already made arrangements for Yuan Shu. When he arrives in Nanyang County, he will naturally need money and people, so Yuan Shu won't have to worry.

And in this way, even if Yuan Wei expresses his opinion that he agrees to abolish the emperor, other Qingliu people will naturally make up their minds - you see, the two sons of the Yuan family are opposed to the abolishment of the emperor, one ran away, and the other actually went to save the abolished emperor, so what?

How could Grand Tutor Yuan Wei agree to depose the emperor? He must have been forced to do so by Dong Zhuo...

Everything is perfect.

****************

The acceptance of students by Taixue is also a scene in Luoyang. Sheds were set up on both sides of the street early. At this time, Cao Cao was watching the ceremony in the shed.

After all, Cai Yong is his master and he is about to accept a new disciple. As a senior brother, he needs to come and take a look.

His master, Cai Yong, really wanted to let this disciple come to Taixue to participate in the ceremony, but it was quite interesting. Watching Fei Qian follow a group of Taixue students and follow all the standard etiquette, Cao Cao

I was just thinking, why didn't Cai Yong show up like this when he accepted him?

Cao Cao only thought it was funny when he saw Fei Qian, but he didn't expect that it was not easy for Fei Qian to follow the Taixue students and follow this set of etiquette.

Movements should be serious and regular, walking should be straight and straight, facial expressions should be straight during the salute, and no winking, laughing or playing around should be allowed.

Accompanied by ritual music, they first went to the gate of the academy, knelt down for the first time and worshiped heaven and earth. Then, under the guidance of the deacon of Taixue in a high-pitched voice, they stood up and lined up neatly around the academy.

Walk around, then walk to the southwest of the Academy, which is south of the Piyongxi Steps, and stand at attention.

Piyong is a three-story hall-shaped building built on a circular high platform. Its shape is a bit like the Mingtang built by Wu Zetian of the Tang Dynasty in the movie that Fei Qian later saw. It is not as tall or exaggerated as in the movie.

Piyong is a large pavilion-shaped building with a square shape and the shape of "Ya (Traditional Asian)". It is built in the center of the high platform. Around Piyong, it is composed of four walls, four far doors and four-corner curved eaves.

It forms a large square courtyard. A ring of water canals is built around the outside of the platform. The meaning of "huanshui" is Yong, which means perfection. The water in the canal flows continuously all year round, and it means the perfection of the king's teachings.

The entire group of buildings forms a dual layout of a square courtyard with water and a square pavilion with a round base.

On the four corners of the uppermost floor of Piyong, there are two small square rammed earth platforms on each corner. A large square room is built on the central platform, called the "Taishi", and there are also small rammed earth platforms on the four outer corners.

Each has a small room, which together with the imperial palace constitutes the five rooms on the upper floor of the central building.

In the middle layer of Piyong, one hall is built on each side of the platform. These four halls are Mingtang, Qingyang, Zongzhang, and Xuantang. The five rooms on the upper floor and the four halls form nine rooms. The overall structure is majestic and solemn, full of grand beauty.

.

On the lower level of Piyong there are four steps on the four sides, southeast and northwest, connecting the approach bridges across the canal. There are only three approach bridges on the south side and two on the other sides.

The ceremony officer walked up to Piyong and stood under the east steps. After standing facing west, he began to sing three lines of chanting. Cai Yong and a group of doctors came out of Piyong and stood on the east steps.

To the south, facing the students from a distance.

At this time, teams of deacons led Taixue students to come forward, salute the doctor, and offer the bundle of repairs. After the doctor took it, he gave a few words of encouragement.

In the previous step, after the doctor put Shu Xiu aside and got some wine to drink with the student, the student left.

This is a complete set of apprenticeship rituals for Taixue students.

Cao Cao was waiting to see Fei Qian step forward last, but suddenly he noticed someone coming next to him. When he turned around, he saw that it was Yuan Shu!
