Chapter 1442 Medivh is brave enough to try new things

Throughout the history of Draenor, Gorn'am has never really been highlighted. Compared with the ancient gods in Azeroth who have an overwhelming presence, they are simply too low-key.

The only deed worth mentioning is the achievement of corrupting the wind snake demigod Seth.

Sarlayan was also a little amused by Onyxia's complaints: "Anyway, thanks to the long-term observation records of the Goria Empire, I finally know the detailed address of Goun'am's lair."

"Things on the Blade's Edge Mountains and Frostfire Ridge are almost busy. It's time for us to go to Arak and meet up with Medivh and the others."

After returning the slate and bidding farewell to the Ogres of Ogrilan who sent him off respectfully, Thalayan asked Onyxia for her opinion before opening the portal.

"Oni, why don't you stay in Frostfire Ridge and help your mother hatch the eggs? This ancient god of Draenor... I always feel that its strength does not require our full attack."

"Hmm..." Onyxia lowered her head and thought about it: "That's okay. Since Medivh and Ansu are still here, that unlucky guy shouldn't be able to make any waves."

"I am indeed a little worried about the situation of the dragon eggs. I will not accompany you on this trip."

Sharlayan activated the teleportation dragon to send Onyxia back to the dragon egg location in Frostfire Ridge. At the same time, Jaina had located Anzu's location.

After entering the portal, the scenery in front of them changed dramatically.

The soil in the Blade's Edge Mountains area has long become barren, and there are wasteland landscapes everywhere.

Although the Talador Forest border where Anzu and Medivh are located has inevitably been affected by the erosion of the earth by evil energy, at least the green coverage area is much better than that of the Blade's Edge Mountains.

Medivh and Ansu's search below the water's surface has just entered a bottleneck period, and they have not gone to sea much recently.

Medivh applied the micro-space technology developed by Aegwynn and threw out a finished wooden hut on the beach that had already been built.

When Sharlayan and Jaina teleported along the space beacon, Medivh was squatting at the door of the hut grilling a strange, very abstract fish.

Seeing Medivh lifting his robe as if squatting in a pit, and Anzu's funny gesture of drooling at the corner of his mouth as he waited for the grilled fish to be cooked, Sharlayan rolled his eyes unconsciously.

"...What are you doing? Are you having a picnic?"

Logically speaking, demigods who can absorb energy from the air no longer need to eat.

But filling one's stomach is one thing, and being greedy is another.

Sharlayan could understand Medivh's desire to eat something good, but this strange creature in his hand...

In barrage terms, this thing seemed to have been mutated by radiation contamination, and Sarlayan couldn't even whet his appetite after seeing this thing.

"Yo~ It's coming."

Medivh didn't even bother to get up, and used his free hand to greet Sharlayan and Jaina in a perfunctory manner, still focusing on the strange fish on the fire.

"Suck~"

Ansu finally used his strong willpower to force himself to turn his head and look at the two people who looked confused.

"We're just looking for something to eat to satisfy our hunger. Don't judge people by their appearance...take fish."

Ansu pointed at the strange fish still rolling on the fire with his short wings: 'This thing looks strange, but it tastes delicious.'

Sarlayan rolled his eyes angrily: "Let's just treat it like this, so what? How is the progress of your search here?"

Ansu sighed after hearing this: "It's not going well... In a word, it's like finding a needle in a haystack."

"The Nagas are still busy, but due to the lack of more clues to narrow down the scope, their gains have always been limited."

"Let's not talk about us yet."

Ansu looked at the two of them curiously and asked, "Have you found the dragon egg?"

Jaina smiled and explained: "I found it, and there are some unexpected gains along the way."

"We found relevant information about Gorn'Amu... the ancient god of Draenor from the remaining historical records of the Goria Empire."

"oh?"

Medivh, who was busy grilling fish, finally turned his attention: "Tell me more specifically, where is that guy hiding?"

Sarlayan raised his hand and pointed to the summit of Tongtian Peak, which could still be vaguely seen: "We looked in the wrong direction before. Gao En'am was not active in the Setek Valley, but near the coastal area facing the sea in the southern part of the peak forest.

"

"The south..." Ansu, who was familiar with the landforms of the Arak Peak Forest, lowered his head and recalled: "The muddy land covered with black oil to the south of the Bloodmane Valley?"

Sarlayan nodded and affirmed: "At least this is what is recorded in the historical documents of the Goria Empire."

"The black oil that surfaces is a natural fossil energy source, which we call oil in Azeroth."

"Fossil energy?" Medivh continued to flip the fish thoughtfully: "In other words, Goun'am can strengthen its own strength by absorbing the energy contained in oil...or, in other words, help it resist evil.

Can it corrode?"

"No wonder the guy who lives in symbiosis with the planet was lucky enough to survive the period when evil energy erosion was most serious."

The symbiosis between the ancient gods and the planet has advantages and disadvantages. The advantage can be taken as an example of Azeroth.

The Ancient God of Azeroth, who has long stolen the power of the Star Soul for his own use, has developed very quickly. Even if compared across the entire universe, Y'Shaarj's strength is still at the forefront of all the Ancient Gods, and is even one of the best.

As for the negatives, Delano is a ready example.

The more serious the planet is eroded by evil energy, the greater the damage suffered by the ancient gods parasitizing the planet.

Although evil energy and void power are both classified as evil forces, they are not harmonious with each other at all. They are two completely different systems.

Fel energy represents chaos, and void is one of the twisted forces on the shadow side. When the two collide, they will inevitably tear you to death.

The Bloodmane Valley mentioned by Anzu was once the main gathering place for Khajiit, a unique creature in the Arak region.

This chapter is not finished yet, please click on the next page to continue reading the exciting content! During the period when the old tribe was spreading green defense everywhere, the Bloodmaned Tiger people were wiped out by the orcs who ran over them, and they have long ceased to exist.

According to the information provided by the barrage, there is indeed oil in the south of Bloodmane Valley. In a certain version of the game they knew, this place was once occupied by money-hungry goblins.

Except for oil, this deserted coast has no resources worth collecting.

Due to long-term oil pollution, the land along the coast cannot grow food, and neither the Crow nor the Khajiit have any intention of occupying this land.

This coastal area is not suitable for mortal life, but it is just right for the ancient gods who can absorb various natural energies to strengthen themselves.

Although the entire Arak Peaks have sunk into the sea, the oil produced from the ground will not be affected by this and can continue to absorb energy from the seabed further below.

Drilling into the ground has always been the ancient god's forte, and Sarlayan has reason to suspect that Gorn'am, who is currently in a period of weakness, is hiding under the seabed where the oil-producing area is located to survive.

With the exact coordinates in hand, the Nagas who received the latest instructions quickly changed their dispersed action strategy of looking for a needle in a haystack and concentrated in large numbers on the target area.

"It's baked."

While Medivh and the three of Sarlayan were talking about business, he continued to grill the strange fish while being distracted.

After the fish meat was cooked, the astral mage waved his left hand and sprinkled a handful of blue-light arcane powder evenly on both sides of the strange fish.

Sarlayan asked in confusion: "What are you doing?"

Medivh: "Detoxify, you don't want to eat fish with evil energy in your stomach, do you?"

"Yue!"

Looking at the radioactive fish that was staring at death, both Sarlayan and Jaina retched subconsciously.

"No wonder this thing looks like it's been contaminated. It turns out it really is."

Medivh smiled nonchalantly: "Don't worry, it will be clean and non-toxic after my treatment. Try it?"

"no thank you."

Sarlayan immediately took out the roast chicken, roast goose, steak and other feasts that the chefs at home had prepared before leaving from the space package.

Since there is no concept of time flow in the space package, these foods are still steaming when taken out.

"We can just eat regular food. This kind of exotic... food is for you to enjoy."

Medivh smiled and shook his head: "Young people must be brave enough to try new things... Whatever, if you don't want to eat it, forget it. Ansu, let's solve it."

"okay!"
