The Kul Tiras Islands consist of three large islands and one offshore island.
The three large islands are Drustvar, Stormsong Valley and Tiragarde Strait, and the isolated island offshore belongs to the mechanical dwarf kingdom long forgotten by history, Mechagon.
After asking the Thornspeakers for directions, Sarlayan mounted a large wild raven tamed by Orfa and flew east of Drustvar.
This larger-than-human raven is a native creature of Drustvar, and often conflicts with the Kul Tiran people who settle here because of foraging for food.
As an archdruid, Olfa naturally has the ability to communicate with animals, and he easily used food to convince a large raven to agree to transport Sarlayan to Boralus.
As the center of the Kul Tiras Islands, Tiragarde Sound is connected to Stormsong Valley to the north and Drustvar to the west. It is the richest and most prosperous area in the entire archipelago.
Ever since he landed in the mist-filled Drustvar, Sarlayan had always felt an inexplicable sense of depression, as if something in the mist was staring at him.
Through conversations with the people in the Thornspeaker's Lair, Sharlayan discovered that this feeling was not unique to him, nor was it just a simple illusion.
When flying over Xiaowan Town, Sarlayan could barely see the scenery below through the mist.
The copper-green roof covers the dark brick and wood building, and the dark yellow translucent window glass reflects the hazy light.
In Xiaowan Town, the tall Kul Tirans were shouting at each other to prepare lunch.
Regardless of whether they are men or women, most of these town residents have strong bodies, much stronger than the human mages Sharlayan has seen in Dalaran.
In terms of architectural style and cultural customs, the sea kingdom of Kul Tiras and the magical city of Dalaran are very different.
After leaving Drustvar and entering Tiragarde Sound, the depressing atmosphere was suddenly cleared, and the refreshing sea breeze from the pavement refreshed Sarlayan's spirits.
‘Sure enough, there is something wrong with this strange land of Drustvar. No wonder there are so few human residents there.’
Compared with the bustling Tiragarde Sound, Drustvar is like a remote country.
While passing over the Norvington Manor in the northern part of the fjord, Thalayan discovered that the people below were holding a large banquet, which seemed to be celebrating the triumphant return of King Daelin Proudmoore.
When he arrived at the outskirts of Boralus, the capital of Kul Tiras, Sarlayan was stopped by a group of royal griffins with snow-white wings, and under their guidance, he landed at a special civilian bird spot in the city.
These royal griffin knights are quite curious about Sarlayan's mount. They have never seen the large raven that likes to cause trouble look so docile.
After receiving the promised food from Sarlayan, the raven chirped happily with a hoarse and unpleasant voice, flapped its wings and left the city that did not belong to it.
After handing over Sarlayan to the staff of the Port Authority, the Royal Griffin Knight took off again.
Since Sarlayan entered Kul Tiras through an unconventional method, the port authority needed to complete an immigration formality for him.
While following the burly clerk to the Port Authority, Sarlayan witnessed the carnival in Boralus City.
A large warship that looked similar to before was docked at the military port not far from the port authority. A large number of Kul Tiran people were surrounding the cordon and cheering loudly to welcome their hero back.
"That's...the King of the Seas?"
"Oh?" the staff member who led the way asked unexpectedly: "High Elf, you actually know about the King of the Sea?"
Quel'Thalas has been closed to the country all year round. Except for some commercial and diplomatic exchanges with Dalaran, there are basically no high elves in other countries.
The first time they saw Sarlayan, the Royal Griffin Knight recognized him as a visitor from outside the island.
Now that Quel'Thalas has joined the Alliance, and allied races are visiting, Kul Tiras naturally has to show its best side.
Sarlayan nodded calmly: "We met once in the Palatine Bay, and happened to witness the scene of the Kul Tiras navy beating the tribe."
"ha!"
The Port Authority employee named Rogers puffed up his chest proudly.
"I'm not bragging, as long as the war is fought on the sea, there is no enemy that Kul Tiras cannot defeat, and the golden fleet of the Zandalari Trolls is no match for us!"
Zandalar Island is not far to the southwest of Kul Tiras. Both sides are maritime powers. For thousands of years, it is inevitable that there will be contact with each other.
Before Sharlayan could think deeply about the relationship between Kul Tiras and Zandalari, the cheers of the people amplified again.
Sarlayan looked up in shock, only to find a small group of gorgeously dressed "sailors" walking out of the cabin of the Sea King.
Rogers looked a little fanatical and pointed at the majestic man walking at the front and said: "Look! That is our Majesty, the ever-victorious general of the Alliance, Admiral Daelin Proudmoore!"
Returning with another victory, Daelin kept a decent smile on his face and waved to the people of Kul Tiras who came to greet him.
But Sarlayan saw fatigue and sadness in his eyes through the eagle eye technique. This victorious general did not seem to be as calm and composed as he appeared.
"Um?"
As one of the legendary generals of the alliance, Daelin noticed Sarlayan's Eagle Eye as soon as he swept over it. He followed his gaze and looked over with a frown.
Unlike those who recognized Sarlayan as a pure-blooded high elf, Daelin recognized his half-elf bloodline at a glance and raised his brows slightly.
'Since when have there been half-elves in Boralus?'
Out of curiosity, Dailin looked at Sarlayan a few more times as he disembarked from the ship and landed, with a thoughtful look in his eyes.
"Sellers."
"I am here, Your Majesty."
Dai Lin still maintained a formulaic smile on his face, waving back to the people around him, while whispering instructions to the guard captain beside him.
"Go to the port authority to check the origin of that half-elf. I always feel like I have seen him somewhere."
Cyrus, the errand runner, hurriedly lowered his head to accept the order. While everyone was focusing their attention on the radiant king, he quietly left the team.
Rogers knew that he still had official duties to attend to, so he did not stay at the celebration for long and took Saraian with him to the port authority to register his identity.
"Salayan Deepshadow, a native of Quel'Thalas, drifted to Drustvar due to an accidental shipwreck. With the help of the locals, he found his way to Boralus...is that right?"
Sharlayan nodded: "That's about it. I want to send a letter to Quel'Thalas to report that my family and friends are safe."
"That's no problem."
Rogers asked with some surprise: "Aren't you going to take the boat home?"
Sarlayan: "It's rare to come to Kul Tiras. This is an opportunity. I plan to travel and visit the island."
Rogers shrugged: "Okay... the post office is right next to the Nestling Harbor Hotel in Huifan Market. Do you need me to arrange for my followers to take you there?"
"No."
Sarlayan reached out to take his identity certificate and declined the enthusiastic Rogers.
"I'll go by myself. I can still buy some daily necessities in the city."
"Rogers, excuse me."
A strong man in a gorgeous navy uniform opened the door and walked in. Rogers quickly stood up from his chair and nervously raised his hand to salute him.
"Lord Cyrus! Please give me your orders!"
Cyrus smiled and waved his hand: "Don't be so serious, relax, don't scare our guests."
"yes!"
No longer paying attention to the reserved Rogers, Cyrus turned his attention to Saryan, who had a calm expression.
"High Elf Ally, welcome to Boralus. I am a naval knight from Kul Tiras. You can call me Cyrus."
[Appeared, the future portmaster of Kul Tiras, ‘Mediocre’ Cyrus.]
[What an ordinary person who can raise the daughter of Duke ‘For the Dragon’. No matter how you think about it, she cannot be an ordinary person. 】
[Cyrus looks quite young now, he hasn’t grown that huge beer belly yet.]
Sarlayan shook hands with Cyrus while observing the barrage passing by.
