Chapter 5 Rogue Camp and Akara

Early the next morning, the storm team packed up and started on their way.

When rows of endless wooden fences came into view, Chen Hao was so surprised that he could fit an ostrich egg into his mouth.

Is this also called a camp?

Are the nuns in Akara majoring in civil engineering? This is obviously a miniature city!

Wasn’t Camp Rogge just established a few months ago?

Why is it so large?

"Don't be surprised, Hao. Rogge Camp recruited a group of Lu Gaoyin's mercenaries when it was first established. When they are not fighting, they are all a group of construction experts. Okay, come in quickly, Brother Akara is waiting.

They're waiting for us!" Kasha pushed Chen Hao gently from behind. She was already familiar with Rogge's camp.

"Welcome back, Mr. Adventurer!" As soon as they reached the gate of the city, seven Rogges holding bows and arrows bowed in unison and saluted.

"Welcome back, Lord Pedro." The leading beauty Rogge quickly stepped forward and took the certificate from Pedro's hand. He skillfully took out the magic seal and tapped it lightly.

"Who is this sir?" Roger asked politely when he saw Chen Hao in the crowd.

"He is Chen Hao, a necromancer who came from Port King to support him." Before Chen Hao could open his mouth, the outspoken Kasha introduced him first.

"It turns out to be Mr. Chen Hao, the necromancer. Welcome to Rogge's camp." Female Rogge said, handing a small piece of metal to Chen Hao, "Sir Chen Hao, Brother Akara will be very happy to see you.

you."

Entering the gate of Rogge Camp is a row of country roads.

This place is not the shabby little stronghold in the game at all. After the management of Akara and other nuns, it has become a self-sufficient small town.

After entering the city gate, you arrive at the outer city. You can't see the dark red soil like the Blood Wasteland here. Crops are planted on both sides of the road. From a distance, you can see many farmers harvesting in the fields.

After walking behind Pedro for a while, we entered the lively urban area.

"This was the place where Brother Akara, Lord Kasha and their entourage settled at first, but with Brother Akara's summons and the road to the east being blocked, more and more adventurers gathered here."

Pedro introduced as he walked, "With so many powerful adventurers gathered here and the monastery's guard regiment, it naturally attracted the surviving civilians who were affected by the disaster."

"Similarly, businessmen in the Western Continent have also sensed business opportunities. Even though there are demons everywhere, they still take risks and come here to earn gold coins."

"In fact, these businessmen are even more eager to open the road to the East as quickly as possible than the common people and adventurers. You must know that in just these few months, they have accumulated inestimable wealth in their hands."

Chen Hao was sightseeing and listening to Pedro's explanation.

The streets here are not too narrow, and many civilians are sitting at the door of their cabins selling crops and some small handicrafts. On the street corner not far away, Chen Hao even saw many children chasing and playing.

These young and ignorant children may not even know that outside the wooden fence are a group of demons that eat people without spitting out bones.

"It seems that Akara knows how to manage things." Chen Hao praised.

"Yes, Brother Akara is the most famous nun in the Western Continent. We all respect her." Kasha said from the side.

In fact, Chen Hao knows Akara very well without Kasha’s introduction.

She is a senior priestess of the Sisters of the Blind Eye. Because of the name of her guild, many people will subconsciously think of her as a blind person.

In fact, Akara is not blind, and is a priest outside of the seven mainstream professions.

"Okay, Pedro, I won't accompany you anymore." Cartman suddenly said, "You can take this guy to see Akara. I'll go do my own thing."

After Cartman finished speaking, he walked straight to a dark shop on the corner of the street.

Following Cartman's back, Chen Hao looked into his eyes for a second through the greasy window of the shop.

"Damn it, it's actually a Necromancer!"

The raised window was lowered in an instant, and it seemed that the people inside did not welcome Chen Hao.

"Haha, don't worry, that's Kidd, a businessman who talks nonsense." Pedro laughed.

"Kid's shop sells ordinary arrows, crossbow bullets and some ordinary weapons, but the strange thing is that such an ordinary shop occasionally has gold equipment with extremely strong properties."

"No one knows where he got those golden equipment, but since then many adventurers like to go to him to 'gamble'."

"And as far as I know, there is a private gambling room in the courtyard behind his shop, which is why Cartman went there."

"Haha, who doesn't want to exchange his luck for a few gold coins? Brother Chen Hao, how about we go and bet a few after meeting Brother Akara?"

"Forget it." Chen Hao shook his head and rejected Pedro's invitation, "That guy doesn't seem to welcome me very much."

"Who knows?" Pedro shrugged, "This weird guy Kidd has been kicked out of the camp by Lord Kasha many times, but every time he sneaks back in his own way. Lord Kasha these days

He went out on business, and now he has opened a small gambling shop."

"And although he hates necromancers, he prefers gold coins."

"No one will say no to those yellow and orange guys!"

"Hmph, one day that guy will die on his pile of gold coins." Kasha looked contemptuous after hearing this.

After Cartman left, Wenger, Parker and Kasha also said goodbye and left one after another. After Chen Hao and Pedro walked for a while, they looked at the big tent not far away: "Don't tell me that's where Akara lives.

"

"That's right!"

"It's quite simple. After leaving the monastery, we didn't even build a house."

After hearing Chen Hao's complaints, Pedro had a strange expression on his face.

After stepping into the low door of the tent, the two of them walked some distance until Chen Hao felt that he had walked out of the other side of the tent, and the scene in front of him suddenly became clear.

Eight unknown large crystal chandeliers hang on the roof, and a soft unknown carpet is spread on the ground. Four dark red pillars about one meter in diameter support the ceiling. Around the pillars, circles and circles of colorful lights are hung.

Eye-catching weapons, amulets and various equipment.

"Damn it!!! It's so big inside? How luxurious is it to live in???"

"Haha, Hao, everyone who comes to Brother Akara's house for the first time has an expression like yours."

"Welcome home, Pedro, my boy."

While Chen Hao was marveling at the space magic here, a woman wearing a purple robe and a brown dress walked out of the door opposite.

The woman hid her face in a purple cloak, revealing only two bright eyes, making it impossible to guess her age.

"Dear Priest Akara, this is the Necromancer Chen Hao. We met him on the way back from searching for Kevin's team. He encountered Kate's body and has important information for you." Pedro said deeply.

Bowed.

"Necromancer? Mr. Chen Hao, you came at the right time. Talents like you are needed in the camp." Akara looked Chen Hao up and down, with a confused smile in the corner of his eyes.

"Brother Akara, this is the letter I found next to Kate's body. It said it was written to you." Chen Hao took out the parchment and handed it over in a polite manner.

"Okay, I understand." Akara took the parchment and did not unfold it immediately.

Instead, he pointed at the wooden stick in Chen Hao's hand and said, "Mr. Chen Hao, it seems that you are not very wealthy."

nonsense!

Which necromancer uses a wooden club to knock out monsters?

Chen Hao scratched his head in embarrassment and said nothing.

Akara in this world still gives away weapons?

"If you don't mind, I have a job here that's just right for you. The reward is a basic Necromancer staff. What do you think?"

Hoho? Sure enough, I guessed it!

Chen Hao grinned. According to the original plot of Diablo 2, it seems that Akala will issue the basic task of cleaning up the underground cave next.

"Brother Akara, I am happy to accept this job."

"Well, very good!" Seeing Chen Hao's answer, Akara nodded, "Daisy, there is a new necromancer here, you will be the one to receive it."

As soon as he finished speaking, a female warrior with a ponytail suddenly emerged from the corner. She carried a short bow behind her back and two daggers stuck beside her calves. She walked like the wind but made no sound.

"Mr. Chen Hao, please come with me." Daisy made an invitation gesture expressionlessly.

Chen Hao looked at the female Roger in front of him in surprise. Are all novice tasks so standardized nowadays?

Can I have my subordinates deliver it on my behalf?
