Chapter 23 Whoever Believes Who Is Idiot

After Xiang Lin told Peng Yuchen the idea, he stopped taking care of it.

During his stay in Shanghai, before he could visit Li Yongjin who took a taxi from Dahuangfeng for the second time, an uninvited guest arrived.

"I knew you would come too."

Cheng Wei seemed to have forgotten the unpleasantness of the last meeting in the capital, and spoke very familiarly like a real old friend.

Lin Yi looked around and said to him: "The weather in Beijing is getting colder, and Shanghai is a little warmer."

Cheng Wei didn't ramble like last time this time. He obviously didn't intend to discuss the weather in the two cities with him, so he said simply:

"Lin Yi, we Ming people don't tell secrets. I know that you came here because of the taxi service at Dahuang Peak, and I also know that you have already met Li Yongjin, right?"

Before Lin Yi could make any guesses, Cheng Wei immediately gave him an answer.

"Li Yongjin told me himself, and he also told Lu Chuanwei, who took a taxi in Kudu. He told me this personally."

"I'm telling you this to remind you that Li Yongjin has no sincerity in selling Dahuangfeng taxis to you. He just uses you as a bargaining chip to raise the price with us."

This did not surprise Lin Yi. After all, compared to himself, Dudu and Kuadu at least seemed to be more powerful acquirers.

"Mr. Cheng came over and told me, are you trying to persuade me to stop?"

"To be honest, even if I don't win Dahuangfeng Taxi in the end, I would be happy to help Li Yongjin raise the price so that you can pay more."

Lin Yi actually meant what he said. Among the three families that covet the Big Yellow Peak, he is the one who needs this opportunity the most because he is currently the weakest.

The person who is most qualified to sit firmly in Diaoyutai is Cheng Wei, who is sitting opposite him. Because Dudu took a taxi and still maintained the lead, even if Lin Yi achieved his wish and won Dahuang Peak, he would only be just behind him.

He himself may not need to acquire Dahuangfeng Taxi, but he does not want Kuaidu or Wanli Travel to acquire Dahuangfeng Taxi, so he has to join the fight.

Cheng Wei said in a very sincere tone: "Of course I understand this truth, but if we fight and raise the price like this, we will only get the advantage in the end for Li Yong, who is destined to be eliminated. Who can get the better deal?"

Lin Yi seemed to know his purpose, and as expected, Cheng Wei made a suggestion:

"In fact, for us, the least expensive solution is for no one to acquire it. Dahuangfeng Taxi will soon be unable to operate due to a broken capital chain."

"After it is completely dead, the three of us will divide up the market left by it. This way, no one will have to pay extra costs."

"Before I came to see you, I had already met with Lu Chuanwei from Kudu Taxi. Both parties agreed not to take taxis with Dahuangfeng to advance acquisition negotiations. Now you are the only one left to trap Dahuangfeng to death. What do you think?"

Cheng Wei is right about one thing. If Dudu, Kuaidu and Wanli Travel are viewed as a whole, letting Dahuangfeng Taxi go bankrupt and suspend operations is the most beneficial choice for them.

But it's not the most beneficial choice for Lin Yi.

And what is the relationship between these three families?

Not to mention that they are irreconcilable, at least they have their own agendas. As long as they abide by the agreement, they will have their own agendas.

However, after hearing this, Lin Yi looked like he suddenly had an enlightenment. He hesitated and asked, "Can this matter be counted?"

Cheng Wei vowed: "Of course, Lu Chuanwei and I have personally confirmed this. Now that the two of us have reached an agreement, it will be a gentleman's agreement between the three of us."

A written agreement written in black and white is still dismissed by some people as toilet paper, while a "gentleman's agreement" made in empty words is worthless.

"good!"

Lin Yi agreed wholeheartedly, and only after separation from Cheng Wei did he make a real answer in his heart:

Whoever believes it is a fool!

Lin Yi thought about it for a long time and realized that he would not believe even a single punctuation mark of Cheng Wei's rhetoric, and Lu Chuanwei from Kuaidu would certainly not be fooled either.

Only one side was hurt the most: Da Huang Feng.

In this way, this matter seems to be an opportunity for myself.

After thinking about it carefully, Lin Yi came to the door again and found Li Yongjin from Dahuang Peak, and asked: "Mr. Li, have Dudu Taxi and Kuadu Taxi not contacted you again in the past two days?"

This question was a bit abrupt, and Li Yongjin frowned: "What does Mr. Lin mean?"

Lin Yi sold Cheng Wei without hesitation: "To tell you the truth, Mr. Li, Mr. Cheng, who always takes a taxi, came to me to discuss something."

"He said that he has reached an agreement with Kuadu Taxi. Both parties have agreed not to seek to acquire Dahuangfeng, and will let you withdraw from the market naturally when your funds dry up."

Li Yongjin felt nervous. He had actually accepted the result that Dahuangfeng would be eliminated by taxi, and his only thought now was to negotiate a good price.

So before, I was half-hearted, talking here and there, even Wanli Travel, which I was not very optimistic about, was willing to meet, but I just planned to raise the price on the ground.

Cheng Wei's proposal happened to be the situation he least wanted to see, because in this way he would get nothing out of the basket.

But Li Yongjin still asked calmly: "How can I believe Mr. Lin in this?"

Lin Yi said: "You didn't answer my question at first, but I think Mr. Li should understand if it's true or false."

Li Yongjin was noncommittal and just asked: "Then Mr. Lin came here to tell me about this matter. Does he want to tell me that he only plans to acquire Dahuang Peak if he only has Wanli Travel?"

"No, just the opposite."

Lin Yi shook his head and said: "I have promised Cheng Wei to form an offensive and defensive alliance with them. I am here just to inform Mr. Li."

To prove that he was not pretending, he added: "I have already bought a ticket to return to Beijing tonight. After our meeting, I went straight to the airport."

Li Yongjin is no longer a young boy, he knows that he can't just take words at face value.

If Lin Yi really had no intention of acquiring Dahuangfeng Taxi, then he could just leave. There was no need to inform him.

He came to tell himself this, but he didn't intend to negotiate the price with himself while Dudu Taxi and Kuadu Taxi were temporarily silent. The meaning was very clear.

Lin Yi also wants to lower the price!

In fact, Cheng Wei and Lu Chuanwei also meant this. Li Yongjin had already thought that neither Dudu nor Kuadu would give up Dahuang Peak easily.

But they are not willing to let themselves benefit from it.

Li Yongjin was a little troubled when he thought of this. He didn't feel that he was any worse than Cheng Wei or Lu Chuanwei. In terms of qualifications and team, he was superior to the two.

It's just bad luck that I didn't find backers like Goose Factory and A Factory earlier.

It is for this reason that investors are unwilling to invest money in themselves, ruining the future of Dahuangfeng Taxi. Now they are not even willing to pay a good price!

Li Yongjin looked at the young man in front of him and felt it was a bit unfair. Each group was actually willing to pay 20 million US dollars to acquire his food delivery website, so now he could sit in front of him and talk.

Although he had a lot on his mind, he did not lose his composure in front of Lin Yi. Instead, he said gracefully: "Thank you, Mr. Lin, for the news."

Lin Yi didn't stay long, but when he said goodbye, he said: "We will meet again."
