Chapter 1558 Always taking risks

"Click"

On the street that was filled with the smell of blood and the faint smell of corpses, Wei Ran once again pressed the shutter of the Nikon SP camera and took a picture of the corpses being shoveled up by bulldozers not far away.

This place is not far from the gate of the refugee camp, and it is naturally the cleanest place cleared by the Phalangists - both living people and corpses.

"Go up and have a look," the hot air balloon pointed at a three-story building on the side of the road and whispered.

Hearing this, Wei Ran automatically walked in front. When he walked into the room, he also put the AKM on his shoulder and replaced it with a silent Makarov pistol.

Before he could find the stairs, he saw tortured corpses all over the floor, as well as scalps and clothes stripped from women scattered everywhere.

Carefully walking up the stairs, except for the blood stains everywhere, it seemed that all the bodies had been dragged downstairs.

"Wow"

Just when Wei Ran was about to walk up to the second floor, there was a sound of rummaging through boxes and cabinets from the direction of the third floor.

Looking at the sewing machine behind him and the hot air balloon at the end, Wei Ran carefully took off the rifle from his shoulder and handed it to the sewing machine to help him hold it, and then made a silent gesture.

The sewing machine nodded and checked the gun's safety.

Without further delay, Wei Ran walked up to the second floor and quickly inspected the second floor while taking advantage of the hot air balloon and the sewing machine aimed at the upstairs and downstairs.

Shaking his head gently at the two of them, Wei Ran continued to walk to the third floor. Soon, he saw a soldier with a Galil rifle on his back, rummaging through boxes and cabinets looking for something.

"What are you doing?" Wei Ran asked in Arabic.

"ah!"

The soldier, who looked to be in his early 20s, was startled by the sound behind him and subconsciously picked up the rifle on his shoulder.

Holding the opponent's shoulders first, Wei Ran spoke first, "Don't shoot, friend, I thought you were a refugee."

"Why don't you make any sound when you walk!" the young soldier complained in Hebrew.

"I thought there were still refugees alive here."

Wei Ran shook the silent pistol in his hand and continued in Hebrew, "I almost shot."

"Do you know Hebrew?" the soldier asked unexpectedly.

"Of course, my cousin is a chair-cracking person."

Wei Ran said, "Her name is Daniela. You may have seen her before. She often hangs out at the Red Eagle Bar."

“I’ll go to the Red Eagle Bar if I have the chance.”

As he spoke, the young soldier looked at the hot air balloon and sewing machine that were coming up one after another, and asked doubtfully, "Hasn't everything here been cleaned? Why are you here?"

"I came up to take a look when I heard some movement here. We were originally going to find a place to rest nearby.

You know, there is a sniper in the refugee camp who is very good at shooting, and it is only safer here."

Wei Ran said something nonchalantly, then asked, "What about you? Did you find anything interesting?"

"No, these refugees are all poor people. Did you gain anything?"

The chair-cracked soldier said in disgust, and by the way, he generously showed off several pieces of jewelry he had found that were probably worth a small amount of money.

"certainly"

Wei Ran pretended to be proud and said, "We found a lot of good things. My name is Aetia, what do you call me?"

"Thar"

The young Israeli soldier pointed to the entrance and exit of the refugee camp outside the window, "I'm a gatekeeper and I just got off work."

After shaking hands with the other party, Wei Ran casually took out two blood-stained gold necklaces and threw them to the other party, "These are for you, friend."

"Oh——! You are so generous!" Young Tal took the necklace in surprise.

“I have always been generous to my friends.”

As Wei Ran spoke, he took out a pack of cigarettes from his pocket and gave one to each of Tal, the hot air balloon and the sewing machine. He also walked to the window sill, lit a cigarette by himself, and glanced at the refugee camp in the distance outside the window.

At the entrance and exit, he turned around and introduced, "This is my partner Joseph."

"Hey!"

The hot air balloon greeted warmly, "I can also speak Hebrew, but I don't speak it very well. After all, I don't have a cousin. What about you Tal? Do you know Arabic?"

"I don't speak Arabic," Tal replied while fist bumping with the hot air balloon.

"This is Kamil. Unfortunately, he doesn't speak Hebrew."

Wei Ran patted the sewing machine on the shoulder and enthusiastically lent him the vest he had used before.

"Hi!"

Although Sewing Machine could not understand Hebrew, he could understand the current situation, so as soon as Wei Ran finished speaking, he took the initiative to shake hands with young Tal.

"Have you seen any pretty girls in there?" Tarr asked, taking a puff of his cigarette.

"Of course, there are quite a few." The hot air balloon deliberately followed the other person's words and said.

"Can you help me catch one?"

Tal asked impatiently, "Be younger and more beautiful. I won't let your help go in vain."

"Why don't you go by yourself?"

Wei Ran said deliberately, "There are many beautiful girls in the refugee camp, but the ones we are looking for may not necessarily match your taste."

“We were ordered not to enter the refugee camps”

Tal said helplessly, "I have been standing guard before dawn. At that time, we were allowed to capture some beautiful girls nearby for fun, but after dawn it was my turn to rest, and the furthest we could go was here."

"

"I will help you find a young and beautiful girl, but I'm afraid it will have to wait until after dark."

The hot air balloon didn't wait for Tal, who was looking happy, to speak, and followed the topic and asked, "By the way, how young do you need to be?"

"Above 10 years old, under 16 years old." Tal replied expectantly, "I have never tried on such a young girl."

"We can't help you in vain," the hot air balloon said bluntly.

"Of course, I won't let your help go in vain." Tarr made an empty promise, "What kind of reward do you want?"

"How about Ma Fei?" Wei Ran asked, "They are much more exciting than chat grass."

Tal thought for a while and said, "A few..."

“The more the merrier”

The hot air balloon said greedily, "The first girl only needs 5 balloons. Every time you get 2 more balloons, I can help you find one more girl."

If you can get us 20 at one time, we can get you as many girls as you want in the next few days."

"That's what you said," Tal said heartily.

"certainly"

Wei Ran spread his hands, "But you have to hurry up. You know, there aren't many people left in the refugee camp. Maybe there won't even be corpses by this time tomorrow."

"I'm going to think of a solution right now!" Tal couldn't wait to go downstairs.

"What channel are you on?"

Wei Ran pointed to the walkie-talkie of the same style fixed on the other party's belt and asked, "We can't send the girl to the entrance. I'm afraid you won't even have a chance to touch her."

"Channel 6, I'm on channel 6."

Tal quickly replied, "How about sending the girl here? Send her here? We change guard every four hours. I am on guard at seven o'clock in the afternoon."

"What a coincidence..."

Wei Ran muttered secretly, but he remembered that Edelweiss was waiting for news about him on Channel 6.

"If I find it, I will bring the girl here and call you on Channel 6."

The hot air balloon said, "I guess you definitely want to enjoy the girl we found for you alone, so how about we agree on a secret code?"

"That's a good idea!" Tarr nodded repeatedly.

"Let's use red wine as a code."

Wei Ran said, "How about using red wine instead of girls? Use cigarettes instead of Ma Fei. No matter which one of us gets the entertainment the other needs, let us know on the channel."

"No problem!" Tal agreed happily.

"Then it's settled, let's not waste any time."

The hot air balloon said this and waved to the gas and sewing machine, "Since there are no terrorists here, we should leave."

"I'll go find Ma Fei for you right away" Tal also quickly made a promise.

"Let's get out of here together," the hot air balloon said, calling to the sewing machine and heading downstairs.

"Let's go"

Wei Ran also said hello and asked Tal to walk behind the sewing machine, while he himself walked at the back.

Encountering such a new recruit was an unexpected surprise for them, but neither Weiyan nor the hot-air balloon would mind doing anything with this new recruit—even if they could get a few bottles of much-needed anesthetics, it wouldn't be a loss.

Saying goodbye to Tal, who hurriedly ran to the entrance and exit of the camp, Weiyan and the hot air balloon looked at each other, and while walking towards the hospital, they changed into French and whispered, "I just saw the armored vehicle driven by Bat and Um leaving smoothly.

Refugee camp."

"I saw it too"

The sewing machine whispered excitedly, "I don't know when they will come back. Also, who will we send out next?"

"How many wounded are there on the first floor of the hospital?" the hot air balloon asked in a low voice.

"There are about 20 more children."

Sewing Machine replied, "There are more adult sick and wounded patients, and there are also many medical workers."

"We need to get another body truck." Weiyan and the hot air balloon said the same thing in unison.

"Let the armored vehicles transport those children away on the next trip."

The hot air balloon whispered, "But we have to wait, at least until the sentry at the door changes."

Wei Ran glanced at the prisoner-of-war watch on his wrist, "Taal started duty at seven o'clock in the afternoon. He said that the guard shifts every four hours, so there are still more than two hours before the next change of guard."

The hot air balloon quickened its pace and said, "After the armored vehicle comes back, we have tentatively agreed to send it out at 4:15 next time.

During this period, we have to find a way to get a truck and sewing machine to transport corpses. When you return to the hospital, discuss the evacuation list immediately and listen to our news at any time."

"Leave it to me!" said the sewing machine, patting his chest.

"Don't forget Hanward and the others," Wei Ran reminded.

"They should wait until after dark."

The hot air balloon sighed, "At least it's safer after dark. We can't have more wounded people."

"Then after dark..."

When Wei Ran said this, he couldn't help but be more vigilant. In the Metal Book's return mission, Hanward and Dalal had to survive until tomorrow evening.

So he had reason to guess that maybe... maybe something unexpected would happen tonight.

In their respective worries or expectations, Wei Ran and the hot air balloon successfully brought the sewing machine to the vicinity of the hospital, and asked him to find a place to take off his Falangist uniform before entering the hospital.

"You stay here to take care of the bat, and I'll get a corpse truck." The hot air balloon said as it walked further away.

"good"

Wei Ran responded simply, "I'll go check out the house I rented before."

"Pay attention to safety," the hot air balloon warned, and simply walked in the opposite direction to Wei Ran.

Along the way, Wei Ran could not actually see many living refugees. Most of them were dead, a small number were hidden, and an even smaller number may have escaped from the refugee camp.

What he could see were mostly bulldozers that were busy tearing down buildings and scooping up corpses amidst the roar, as well as trucks loaded with corpses, dripping blood all the way to the outside of the refugee camp, which even made him stop and lift again and again.

Camera graveyard.

When he skillfully walked through the narrow alley and returned to the door of the rented house, he saw a bulldozer that seemed to be preparing to knock down the yard wall.

"Hey! Stop!" Weiyan waved to the driver of the bulldozer.

"What's wrong?" the driver opened the door and shouted.

"Don't move these two buildings yet!"

Wei Ran pointed at the two buildings and then pointed in the direction of the hospital, "Captain Ayman ordered me to monitor the movements of the hospital. I must have a commanding height!"

"no problem!"

The driver was happy and simply steered the bulldozer back a few meters, then turned and headed straight for other buildings.

This chapter is not over yet, please click on the next page to continue reading! Behind this bulldozer, there was also a truck containing many corpses. Behind the truck were several Falangist militiamen who seemed to be responsible for carrying corpses.

.

"Trouble..."

Wei Ran stood at the entrance of the alley where the ambulance was hidden, lighting a cigarette and sighing secretly. It seemed that it would not be easy to snatch a truck, unless...unless the truck was stopped halfway.

I hope the hot air balloon can find a way...

Wei Ran kicked the corpse of a 269 elite soldier who had been killed by his own hands on the side of the road, and allowed the militiamen to carry it onto the bed of the truck, where it was mixed with the corpses of the refugees.

Watching the corpse removal team leave, Wei Ran turned around and walked into the yard. He walked into the burnt black first floor and took a quick look. Then he walked up the outer stairs to the second floor and took a quick look, then turned around.

Focusing on the direction of the hospital across the road outside the window.

While he waited patiently but anxiously, an armored vehicle drove over from a distance. It was the Ark! Wei Ran recognized the bat in the machine gun tower at a glance, and also recognized the bat sitting on the roof of the armored vehicle facing towards

The hot air balloon waving to him!

what happened...

Wei Ran suppressed his uneasiness, and when the car approached and reached the wall, he immediately jumped onto the roof of the armored vehicle through the second-floor window.

"There is good news and there is bad news."

The hot air balloon said as the armored vehicle started to drive, "The children in the first car were successfully sent out. This is good news."

"Where's the bad news?" Wei Ran asked.

"I stopped a corpse truck and followed it out of the refugee camp."

The hot air balloon continued, "When leaving the entrance, someone was responsible for strafing the bodies in the cargo compartment. Every vehicle would not be spared. I had no choice but to follow this armored vehicle back."

"This is indeed bad news." Wei Ran frowned.

"I brought a small gift, I hope it will make you happy." Bat said and patted the armored hatch on the roof of the car.

Seeing this, Wei Ran immediately opened the heavy armor hatch with the help of a hot air balloon and jumped into the carriage.

Before he could stand still, he saw a tattered Soviet army backpack placed near the engine compartment.

Looking at the hot air balloon behind him who also jumped out, Wei Ran immediately ran over and opened one of the backpacks, and then his eyes widened.

There is nothing else in this bag, only one weapon - a TM62 anti-tank mine produced by the Soviet Union!

"Where did you get it?" Wei Ran asked in surprise.

"My uncle Umu is a genuine 8-solution warrior," Bat explained.

"Wasn't he a driver before?"

Wei Ran asked as he rummaged through his backpack. In addition to a large and surprisingly powerful discus, there was also an overly sensitive MVP62 pressure fuse and a safety key to disarm the fuse.

"It was true before the war"

Bat retracted into the carriage and explained with a smile, "But after the war started, he joined the 8th Army and was responsible for transporting weapons and ammunition, which he left at home in the port for self-defense."

Wei Ran twitched his lips, tied up the backpack again, straightened up and leaned his upper body out of the car, and asked directly, "So what are your plans next?"

"After dark, I still plan to grab a truck." The hot air balloon said, "But I need someone to cooperate."

"How to cooperate?" Wei Ran asked.

"Someone needs to use a sniper rifle to kill the person checking the body at the door to create chaos."

The hot air balloon expressed an idea that was too dangerous, "We will take advantage of the chaos to drive out. We only have one chance, but a truck can hold a lot of people."

"I think this method is too risky," Bat said with a frown.

"Aren't we always taking risks?" the hot air balloon asked, "Is there a safer way for us?"

"Children, we have a visitor."

Before Wei Ran could express his opinion, Uncle Umu, who was in charge of driving the armored vehicle, turned around and reminded him.

Hearing this, Wei Ran and the other three men immediately came out and saw four Falangist militiamen waving at them on the roadside.

"Is there still room in the car?" one of them asked, "Can we get in and sit?"

"Let them come up"

The hot air balloon whispered, and then greeted warmly, "Of course, come up!"

Before he finished speaking, Wu Mu also reduced the speed of the car, and soon after, Wei Ran also retracted into the car and opened the hatch at the rear of the car.

Although there was no discussion, both Wei Ran and Bat could guess the hot air balloon's plan. He was going to use these four lucky people to camouflage the armored vehicle.

Before the car stopped, the four Falangist militiamen got into the car, each shook the mud from their feet and complained, "This road is full of mud after crushed corpses. The smell is really disgusting."

"Welcome aboard the Ark"

The hot air balloon said enthusiastically, "I am Joseph, the captain. I should have asked you to take off your shoes before entering."

"Hello, I'm Levin." The militiaman who got on the bus first shook hands with the hot air balloon and asked curiously, "Why are there so many people in your car?"

"A team just got off the bus, and then you came up."

The hot air balloon pointed his thumbs out and said, "Although the car is comfortable, there are no treasures to be found."

"That's right, we understand the rules."

The militiaman who called himself Levin had already taken out a bunch of gold rings tied with shoelaces from his bag before he finished speaking. He generously counted four and handed them to the hot air balloon, "This is our fare."

"I like passengers like you, feel free to sit down."

Hot Air Balloon said, first he picked out the largest one from the four rings and stuffed it into his bag, then gave the second largest one to Bat, and then handed the remaining two rings to Wei Ran and Wu Mu.

Uncle.

"Do you have any special tasks?" Levin asked, choosing a location at random.

"No, I'm just going around in circles to see where support is needed." The hot air balloon yawned and said, "There is no resistance now."

"When we came in in the morning, we thought there were really terrorists here."

A passenger who looked to be in his twenties said, "Although there was some resistance at the beginning, their weapons seemed to have been snatched from the hands of the first batch of idiots who came in."

"I heard that there was a powerful sniper who killed many people," another militiaman said.

"We heard about it too"

Wei Ran took over, "We also supported the team that was targeted by snipers."

"Did you kill the sniper?" Levin asked.

"Not sure"

Bat replied, "I almost demolished the second floor of the house where he was hiding with a machine gun, and I did not receive any related calls for help after that."

"Then he should be beaten to death." Levin and others immediately breathed a sigh of relief.

While chatting on this topic, the armored vehicle drove around and around the small refugee camp.

The time came to 4:10 in a blink of an eye. Bat gave up his seat to a passenger who was already a friend. He also retracted into the carriage with Weiyan and the hot air balloon, sharing with Levin and others that he had begun to wilt, but was still suffering from the pain.

Welcome chat grass.

At the same time, Uncle Um also turned the front of the armored vehicle and drove towards the hospital again.

“It’s almost time”

The bat glanced at the electronic watch in his hand and spat out the chewed grass stems with a pop.

"Are you going to change the guard?" Levin, who had chewed a lot of Chat grass, asked reluctantly. What they had just talked about was quite speculative.

"No, no, no, we are just going to pick up another group of passengers, as we made an appointment."

Before the hot air balloon finished speaking, Wei Ran, Wei Ran and Bat each pulled out a silent Makarov pistol in no particular order, aimed it at the eyebrows of the three people in the carriage and pulled the trigger at the same time.

Before the bullet casing could hit the ground, Bat had already grabbed the machine gunner's belt and pulled him off.

"Snapped"

Wei Ran put his gun behind his ear and shot him in time, suppressing the exclamation that had just burst out of his throat.

"This time I left with the armored vehicle"

While the hot air balloon was busy undressing the corpse with Wei Yan and Bat, he said, "I will borrow a truck outside the refugee camp."

"If you still have gifts like this, remember to bring a few more." Wei Ran cut off the scalp of the corpse at hand and raised his chin towards the anti-tank mine at the corner of the carriage.

"That's the only one"

Before the bat finished speaking, he had already opened the rear hatch of the armored vehicle, and skillfully used the armored vehicle to turn around on the spot, pushing down the body that had taken off its clothes, lifted its scalp, and had a ball of blood on its face.

.

Before the car could complete the U-turn, Weiran also jumped out of the armored vehicle carrying the heavy mine, "Hot air balloon, where is the SVD?"

"The four children we found are upstairs in the kitchen cupboard." The hot air balloon said, "There are no booby traps. It returns to zero at 200 meters."

"I'll be there watching you go out."

Before Wei Ran finished speaking, he had thrown the bag containing the mines over his shoulder, walked step by step towards the alley where the ambulance was hidden, and hid the anti-tank mines in the trunk of the dilapidated car in the yard.

After that, he quickly left here and ran in the direction where he had saved the child.
