Chapter 233 A very stupid guardian

"Dumbledore?" Draco whispered in a questioning tone, and stood up under Bree's eyes.

Draco gave Bree a wishing look and left the carriage.

"Woooo!" The Hogwarts Express departed, and the rumbling sound kept passing through the little wizard's eardrums. The parents of the new students on the platform kept waving goodbye to their children.

"It's another new year, and the carefree laughter of children is the best gift to Hogwarts." Dumbledore sat on the sofa, looking out the window at the far away platform, with the little wizards and wizards chatting in his ears.

The loud farewells of my parents gradually died down.

"I was also put on this train by my family back then. What a memory." Dumbledore sighed.

Bree looked at Dumbledore who came uninvited. It wasn't until the nostalgia in Dumbledore's eyes disappeared that Bree answered: "It's changing with each passing day. Speaking of which, compared to Muggle transportation, this train can no longer be called a means of transport."

It's 'Express', doesn't anyone want to change it?"

Touching the old carriage, Dumbledore nodded, but then shook his head. At this time, the salesman's voice came from outside the door.

"Would you like some candy, kids?"

"Come in, I may need some sweets for the long journey." Dumbledore said, and when an old sales witch pushed the snack cart and opened the door, she exclaimed.

"Dumbledore!"

"Are you here?"

"Long time no see, I remember you were here back then." Dumbledore chuckled and pointed at the small push lane: "Can you please bring some, Odd will pay for it."

When the sales witch saw Brie nodding, she took down some snacks.

"Don't eat too much, Dumbledore. You don't look like you can take care of yourself at all. You were so clean and cheerful back then..." The sales witch fell into memories, and the young Dumbledore appeared in her eyes, but she didn't know

Why can't it overlap with Dumbledore?

"You are so sloppy now. Look at this shameful floral robe. Was your aesthetic like this back then?" the salesman said, shaking his head and pushing the trolley away.

"Haha, don't mind the kids, people will always change." Dumbledore was not embarrassed and directly picked up a pack of Bibi's strange-flavored beans and ate it.

Bree smiled faintly and looked out the window. Dumbledore's arrival today must have been arranged, otherwise he should be waiting for the arrival of the little wizard in the castle instead of sitting quietly in the carriage with Bree.

Bree looked at the mountains and plains that kept repeating before her eyes. She came back to her senses as if she was tired of it. He took out his note and waved it. The cover of the note showed the words "Basics of Natural Magic".

"Is this the original version?" Dumbledore suddenly said.

Bree shook her head.

"I will always add some new ideas, or deny previous ideas. When these ideas accumulate to a certain extent, I will reorganize and publish a new version... It is a constantly changing version."

After hearing this, Dumbledore looked at Bree with admiration and said with emotion: "There are very few wizards who are willing to constantly change their minds. They always follow the same path to the end."

Bree looked at Dumbledore in surprise.

"Are they sure they were right all along?"

Bree lowered her guard and began to communicate with Dumbledore like a normal teacher-student communication.

"I will not talk about his original intention, process, and ending. I will just talk about the world. The world is constantly changing, and some ideas will fall behind. It is difficult to find a correct way to live. You must constantly change yourself."

Bree lowered her head and wrote and drew in her notes. From time to time, magic appeared on the notes, or clouds and mist floated, or green flowers bloomed...

Dumbledore stared deeply at Bree's notes. He first admired Bree's notes for being strange, and then answered Bree's question.

"Maybe he can't change himself. He is the one who fell behind and was eliminated... The only thing he can do is to leave a hope for the future, a place that he may not be able to see, and hope that he can step into the right future.

.”

Bree stopped the quill that the wand turned into in her hand, looked at Dumbledore, and said with certainty: "Harry Potter is the hope you left behind."

It's not that Bree looked down on Harry...looking at it with an extremely fair eye, he believed that the current Harry couldn't even live up to Dumbledore's robes. The title of savior was too watery, like a sponge.

"How are you sure that Potter can enter 'his life' according to your arrangements." Brie did not say that Dumbledore was dictatorial, let alone autonomy and human rights, because Dumbledore was a strong man, and Harry

Advantage belongs to the weak. Even if this world is a young game, the party that makes the rules will only be the strong, and the weak can only abide by the rules.

Dumbledore smiled unexpectedly, as if Bree had said something interesting.

"Why make sure, as long as it's possible, I have a reason to do it."

Bree suddenly realized that he might have been deceived by Dumbledore's previous image. Dumbledore's reputation as the White Devil was too great. He preconceived that Dumbledore was a good person, but he did not expect that he would be a gambler.

Of course, Dumbledore didn't lose anything if he lost the bet, but others, or the wizarding world, lost.

When Dumbledore saw that Bree was silent and was wary of him again, he gave a dumb laugh. Then he stared directly into Bree's eyes, reached out to hold down Bree's notes, and said seriously: "Let's talk.

Let’s talk – Muggles and wizards, okay?”

"Muggles and...wizards?"

This was something that Bri had never considered, and Bri felt a little uneasy in her heart.

Dumbledore did not give Bree time to refuse, and said directly: "Now we are in a relatively parallel stability."

"But I'm not sure I can hold on to it forever."

Seeing Bree's confused look, Dumbledore laughed again.

"Maybe you can't understand what I say, so let's start with him, a nice guy, Gellert Grindelwald..."

Dumbledore's eyes flashed with nostalgia, but they soon became sharp.

Slave Muggles, break the International Statute of Secrecy..."

Bree interrupted Dumbledore: "You defeated him one day in 1945."

"What do you want to say? I don't want to know the tidbits about you and him."

"Haha," Dumbledore said with a smile and some helplessness: "You have to observe a person from life, so that you can see him clearly, understand him... and even find his weaknesses; Oded, you haven't learned this yet.

.”

"Looking for weaknesses in life?" Brie thought thoughtfully, then smiled with understanding.

"The world says that you have the power to see into people's hearts. I thought it was simply referring to your Legilimency, but it seems that is not entirely the case." Bree teased in a lazy tone, making Dumbledore smile even deeper.

.

"I don't mind anyone's suspicion of me."

After Dumbledore smiled, he continued: "Maybe we can talk about him next time. I am impatient. Now is not the time... not the time..."

"All you need to know is that Grindelwald proved his undoing..."

Dumbledore sighed, as if he was sad for Grindelwald, but what he said next had nothing to do with Grindelwald, as if he was forced to do so.

"The British wizarding community, which has not experienced war, has become arrogant. Maybe I am also the capital of their arrogance, but no matter what, as you can see, pure-blood wizards cannot tolerate a person who is above them."

Dumbledore said word for word: "It doesn't matter whether it's me or natural magic."

Bree held the note tightly, stroking it and waiting for Dumbledore's next words. Perhaps this was the reason why Dumbledore came to see him today. Bree thought carefully and quickly found Dumbledore's loophole.

"But Voldemort is a pure-blooded leader, but Voldemort only treats pure-bloods as slaves. Can pure-bloods tolerate this?"

"Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu"

A train whistle sounded, and the prefect's voice came out. Time passed unknowingly, and the sunset was only half gone. It was time for the little wizards to change their wizard robes.

"The British wizarding world cannot tolerate half a Grindelwald, but it can tolerate a Voldemort."

This was Dumbledore's answer, but he also expressed his doubts.

"It is undeniable that I guarded against the growth of Tom Riddle, Voldemort, at Hogwarts, but I was just worried that he would become an out-and-out extreme purist. He would be too good at lying, and blood would become

His weapons brought trouble to the wizarding world, but I never thought he would become Voldemort."

"He was pushed out by pure blood. He was like a weapon that pierced the British wizarding world that was supposed to live a stable life and opened an ugly hole."

"I'm not sure if they can still control Voldemort, but I don't think they'll give up halfway."

Dumbledore's eyes were fixed on Bree.

Bree understood Dumbledore's concerns.

"Do you think I will be the new Dark Lord introduced by purebloods?"

Dumbledore laughed louder, shook his head and said, "I'm just worried about you entering the pure-blood camp."

"But since you published "Basics of Natural Magic", I have understood that you are not on the same path as pure blood, and you will not become the Dark Lord. Of course, maybe I knew it earlier."

"You can't deceive your patron saint. It 'tells' me that you have something to protect."

"I just want to ask you today, what are you protecting?"

Bree closed the notebook with a bang, looked out the window at the darkening night, and murmured: "Within the rules, a just order, a very stupid guardian."

"No, this is great." Dumbledore squinted his blue eyes, stood up slowly, and moved out of the way to make it easier for Bree to leave the carriage.

"Please allow me to use magic to go to Hogwarts to arrange a banquet, otherwise Minerva will deduct my salary for this month, Oded... By the way, I hope you can come to my office after the banquet is over."
