Chapter 605: Special treatment for model students

The ceiling of the castle auditorium is the cloudy sky outside.

When Vincent entered, Dumbledore at the staff table winked at him.

There is no reason why the school should not know about such a big thing happening to a school bus.

It just so happened that he also had a big question.

Go back to the foyer, turn left, and go up the stairs to the principal's office.

Arriving early this year, it’s just after dusk now.

There are hot tea and candies on the table, which must have been prepared by the considerate Dobby.

After saying hello to the Sorting Hat and the previous principals, Vincent sat down and took a sip of tea to moisten his throat.

Dumbledore picked up a transparent ice mouse and put it in his mouth, listening patiently.

"Professor, didn't the Ministry of Magic notify you in advance?"

"I got the news this morning."

"Including those security dementors?"

Dumbledore was silent.

Vincent felt even more unhappy.

Hogwarts is a school and should not be involved in politics.

International image is something that officials need to consider. If you compromise once, there will be a second time.

"Professor, I want to hold a school board meeting."

"Connelly has assured me that nothing like this will happen."

Fudge's guarantee is bullshit.

From the year before last when he said he would catch Quirrell who invaded Gringotts to maintaining a record of zero jailbreaks in Azkaban, most of his promises have not been realized.

Vincent drank three cups of hot tea in one breath, "You are too talkative, Professor.

Just like cooking, adding too many seasonings is bound to turn into a disaster.”

"Yes." Dumbledore picked up an ice mouse from the plate and looked at it carefully.

"I'm very aware of the depth of regret after making a mistake, so I can tolerate a lot of things happening."

"Including watching the dementors invade the campus?"

Dumbledore looked directly into Vincent's eyes,

"Connelly just lost himself temporarily. I believe he can come out."

Vincent curled his lips and did not refute.

Compared to his tolerance for Fudge, Dumbledore was obviously only more tolerant of him.

"I might as well believe that Gugu can successfully lose weight."

Dumbledore couldn't laugh or cry, "Director Wayne, you can always trust me, right?"

"Of course." Vincent forced a smile.

Dementors are still very safe as long as they don't enter the campus.

At the worst possible outcome, recite the Patronus Charm once a day until they are docile and obedient.

Looking at his unconcealed weird smile, Dumbledore shook his head with a smile and put the ice rat in his hand into his mouth.

"By the way, Vincent, Minerva wants to talk to you about the class schedule."

"Professor McGonagall?"

Dumbledore blinked, "There are only a few students who take all courses at the same time in a year.

The school never wants them to be trapped in busy studies, so it will give special treatment to some model students."

Special treatment?

Model student?

Vincent straightened his back and sat upright with a straight face.

"Professor, do you think I meet the requirements?"

The smile on Dumbledore's mouth disappeared.

"No, at most I'll give them a few less lessons."

"Go quickly, it should be over with Minerva."

"See you later, Professor."

After Vincent finished speaking, he strode out of the principal's office.

The benefits have finally come.

Dumbledore looked at his back as he ran away impatiently, and the corners of his mouth subconsciously rose again.

Your principal is indeed your principal.

Office on the second floor, near the Quidditch pitch.

McGonagall and Madam Pomfrey were asking about Harry.

"I'm fine. Professor Lupine gave me a kind of chocolate that works like a euphoric drug before."

"Really?" Madam Pomfrey said approvingly: "We finally have a Defense Against the Dark Arts professor who knows how to prescribe the right medicine."

Not counting substitute professors, Quirrell has real abilities after all.

McGonagall also thought of Lockhart.

She suddenly became serious, "Potter, do you really feel okay?"

Harry nodded solemnly, "Yes."

"Very good." Mag's expression softened,

"Please wait outside for a moment. I have to talk to Mr. Wayne and Miss Granger about their new class schedule, and then we will go downstairs for the banquet."

Hermione came with her, just outside the office.

When Harry opened the door, he not only saw her, but also Vincent, who was said to have been invited to the principal's office for tea.

They are full of expectations, probably because they love learning.

Madam Pomfrey muttered and walked away, and Harry stood quietly outside waiting.

McGonagall was not surprised by Vincent's arrival. She probably had made arrangements with Dumbledore in advance.

She took out two fully written timetables from the drawer and handed them over.

"There are 12 courses in total, and at least 9 classes are required every day."

Hermione frowned after reading it, and found that Vincent next to her didn't even look at it, and her little face suddenly became confused.

I dare to skip the required courses of History of Magic and Astronomy, Divination and Muggle Studies...

"Mr. Wayne, I believe Professor Dumbledore has briefly told you." McGonagall's expression became serious again.

"The school will give special treatment to some model students, so you and Miss Granger -"

She paused, opened the drawer on the other side,

"In order to consider your work and rest time, we specially applied for two things from the Ministry of Magic."

Vincent and Hermione's curiosity peaked, and they watched her reach into the drawer without blinking.

Mag smiled mysteriously, and very slowly raised his hand under the gaze of two pairs of big, expectant eyes.

Those are two golden chains,

The length is about the same as a necklace,

The pendant is a small hourglass set in three rings.

Vincent quickly covered his pounding little heart.

Nico's manuscript records many items whose production methods have been lost.

There are alchemical items and black magic items.

The two necklaces in Mag's hands were time turners that only existed in the Department of Mysteries, and even his teacher did not dare to make them casually.

Neither craftsmanship nor materials are a problem. The problem is that time-travel magic is one of the most unstable magics. Embedding items is even more unstable than casting a spell.

Hermione solemnly took a time turner.

She raised her mouth slightly and looked to the side, "You already knew that?"

Vincent put away the other time turner, "The school director does not have the authority to intervene in the school's operations.

Besides, it’s not like you don’t know that Professor Dumbledore always only speaks half of what he says, sometimes not even half of what he says.”

Hermione pursed her lips unconsciously.

However, although……

Well, he summed it up very well.

Mag smiled and shook his head, seeming to understand deeply.

Her emerald green eyes under her square glasses looked back and forth at the two students in front of her.

Quidditch has Vincent and Harry, and learning also has Vincent and Hermione.

The appearance of these three students broke Slytherin's six-year monopoly on the House Cup.

Of course there should be special treatment, but it should not be too blatant.

The smile on Mag's face disappeared instantly,

"Mr. Wayne, Miss Granger, I have to seriously remind you of the correct way to use the time turner.

Time-related magic is unstable, and serious violations of the time code will have catastrophic consequences."
