Chapter 741 The true face of the little dwarf

When he was very young, Snape saw that everything was dark.

His father is a Muggle and his mother is a pure-blood wizard.

Ever since I can remember, they have always been quarreling.

Living in Spider-End Alley, which is even more chaotic than Knockturn Alley, coupled with a discordant family, created Snape's unfortunate childhood.

However, one day, while he was out avoiding his parents' quarrel, he saw a girl.

Her eyes are very beautiful, as if they have a magical power.

The young Snape began to silently follow her every move, until she accidentally awakened magic and frightened several playmates, and was chased away by them as a freak.

The girl fled under a tree and he decided that he no longer needed to hide.

"I'm just like you, don't be afraid..."

At this moment, Snape's eyes finally saw color.

But when the beautiful memories ended, what I saw after I woke up was an extremely annoying face.

"Get away!" Snape hit Lupin's nose hard with his forehead.

Sober? No, he is still living in the past.

Lu Ping let the nosebleed flow and kept holding his hands tightly.

Just when Snape was about to hit him a second time, a big hand pressed his head hard to the grass.

Vincent took away his wand with his other hand, "Professor Snape, we haven't confirmed his identity yet, please calm down first."

Hermione, who came together, raised her gun blade and pointed the muzzle steadily at the little black figure in the cage.

At this time, the slowly moving dark clouds could no longer cover the moon, and thin wisps of moonlight fell down.

Finally, I could finally see the little figure in the cell clearly.

It is smaller than a palm, with black hair that is dirty and partially stuck with blood scabs, a thin and long tail, and a pointed little head.

"Ben Ban?" Hermione's voice called everyone's attention to the cage.

The little black shadow was none other than Ron's pet rat, Ben Ben.

As soon as Vincent and Lupine's hands loosened, Snape broke away.

He snatched his wand back, but was pressed back firmly.

"Lupin! Wayne! Get out of here, all of you!"

Vincent picked up the double snake staff and pointed it at Snape's eyes, "If you move again, don't blame me for being rude to you."

Being pointed at such a large staff with two rather ferocious-looking snake heads, Snape's eyes were full of mockery.

"Ho--Wayne, do you want to knock me out with this big stick?"

Vincent pointed the double snake staff at a random hillside.

Two thick red beams shot out from the mouths of the two snake heads.

After a "rumbling" sound, only half of the hillside was left.

Snape's eyes widened, Lupine and McGonagall were silent for a moment, and Hermione covered her mouth in surprise.

"Crack, click, click -" The only sound around was Bian Ben trying to get out of the cage.

There is nothing wrong with casting a spell silently, the key is to cast two spells at the same time.

The reason why these two ordinary disarming spells have such terrifying power is probably because of the amplification of this big stick wand.

Hermione slowly lowered her little hand to cover her mouth, "This is... Slytherin's double snake staff?"

Vincent pointed the double snake staff back at Snape's shocked eyes, "No, this is the double snake staff I made, Vincent's double snake staff."

Benban in the cage stopped struggling, and the entire space fell into deathly silence.

Maybe he was frightened, or maybe he gave up resistance, or more likely, he had other ideas.

After a short silence, the corners of Mag's mouth raised slightly.

She slowly walked towards the cage, "The true form emerged——"

Everyone's attention is returned to the cage.

As Benban grows older, the cage that traps him also gradually grows larger.

Short body, disheveled hair, pointed nose.

Lu Ping's expression was once again filled with disbelief.

Snape's eyes widened again, staring at the little dwarf in the cage.

Mag pursed her lips, her expression particularly complex.

Judging from the reactions of the three professors, the little man kneeling in the cage and covering his chest seemed to be someone they knew.

Vincent didn't know him. He raised the double snake staff and cast two revealing spells.

The little dwarf was beaten until he vomited a mouthful of blood, but his body shape and appearance remained unchanged.

In other words, this is his true face.

Lu Ping suddenly let go of his hand and staggered towards the cage step by step, "It's really you, it's really you."

Mag lowered his wand and slowly spoke a name with trembling lips.

"What Peter?" The double snake staff in Vincent's hand was still pointing at the dwarf in the cage.

Hermione lowered her head and thought for a few seconds, "Is it Peter Pettigrew? The hero who was brutally killed by Black's blasting curse?"

Mag nodded slightly, and Lupine happened to stop in front of the cage.

"Is that you?" He wiped the blood that flowed from his mouth, "When I saw the reward posted in their club, I guessed that you might still be alive."

Peter Pettigrew stood up with difficulty, "Yes...it's me."

He looked a little panicked, and his small eyes moved back and forth among the people, as if he was looking for something.

But very suddenly, he sat back down.

Mag flicked the wand and turned the cage back into the original clod of earth.

Lupine hurriedly stepped forward to help him, "Wormtail, you are indeed alive."

Peter Pettigrew panicked and backed away, "I...it's me...I'm still alive..."

"Wormtail?" Vincent and Hermione looked at each other.

One of the creators of the Marauder's Map? The one who always reveals words in a naughty tone? Wormtail?

Before the two of them could finish digesting this second shocking news, Peter Pettigrew tremblingly hugged Lupin tightly.

"Moon face...save me...someone wants to kill me..."

"Yeah?"

McGonagall turned her gaze to Snape, who was still pinned to the ground.

Although the murderous intention was not that strong, the disgust shown in those black pupils was extremely strong.

Hermione turned her neck stiffly and looked at Vincent, who had an embarrassed face.

In all conscience, if I had known that this little dwarf was Peter Pettigrew who narrowly escaped death, I wouldn't have stabbed him in the arm.

Wait—moon face?

Vincent looked at the two people.

Lupine turned his back to them, and tapped the long wound on Peter Pettigrew's chest with the wand in his hand.

"I know someone wants to kill you, but can you first tell me how you survived?"

He is probably undergoing treatment.

But Peter Pettigrew's face was full of pain, "I... I was chasing Black at the time, but he went crazy and wanted to kill me... I had no choice but to find a place to hide..."

Lupine's voice was very calm, as if there was no emotion at all, "You hid in the Muggle community, didn't you?"

Peter Pettigrew was trembling all over, "Yes...that's it..."

"Then why are you hiding again?"

"me……"

Lupine's hand holding the wand was also trembling, "He was caught, and those crazy people were caught. There's no need for you to hide until now, right?"

"I...I..." Peter Pettigrew looked horrified, "I was so scared...I didn't have the courage to show up..."

"So that's it." Lu Ping raised his head and looked at the crescent moon, as if he was rejoicing for something.
