53. Vegetarian Therapy

PS: If you have liver disease, your face will turn sallow. If this happens around you, you should check it out in time (just a small reminder, no malicious intent)

After eating and drinking, there was no thundering or raining weather outside that often appeared in the plot of the novel, which made Li Xiao unable to leave and could only stay overnight temporarily.

It's calm outside, the moon is bright and the air is clear, and it's even cool.

After dinner, they watched TV, drank tea, and chatted.

Li Xiao also learned more about Yang Deshun's family.

Yang Deshun's third son is named Yang Chengli. Because he was born prematurely, he has not developed well and is in poor health.

His mother also suffered from illness due to giving birth to him and passed away a few years ago.

Yang Chengli's wife, Zhang Lijuan, was a waiter in the store. She had been working in Yangliu Lane. After going back and forth, she fell in love with Yang Chengli, who stayed in the store all day long, and then she successfully became the wife of the boss.

However, because Yang Chengli has been in poor health, both of them are already 40 this year and have never had children.

Yang Deshun was also worried that when he passed away, his third son would have no one to rely on when he was old, so he retired early and passed the shop to Yang Chengli.

However, Yang Chengli Shoucheng could only do it reluctantly, and it was absolutely impossible to deal with someone like Qian Zhiqiang.

Otherwise, Qian Zhiqiang would not have taken advantage of such a big loophole and registered all his own signs.

"Really, I'm lucky to have your help. Otherwise, my father's [Yangliu Lane] would have been destroyed by my useless son." Cough cough cough, "I'm sorry for being in poor health." Yang Chengli smiled bitterly.

The reason why Li Xiao met the new boss [Yang Deshun] for the first time today was because Yang Chengli had gone to the capital for treatment by a Chinese medicine doctor in the past two days.

Yang Deshun frowned, "I'm not telling you, why don't we find another doctor? The doctor you went to see in the capital is said to be a famous doctor who treats liver disease, but why do I feel that your health seems to be getting worse?"

Yang Chengli smiled bitterly and shook his head. His wife patted Yang Chengli on the back and said, "Dad, you don't know that we have seen doctors near Hangzhou, both Chinese and Western medicine. This Chinese medicine doctor in the capital is somewhat useful.

Only a few dietary treatments he prescribed have some effect. Although the effect is not obvious, it is better than nothing."

Diet therapy?

Li Xiao's eyes moved slightly, and Yang Chengli's wife's words made him immediately dig out some memories hidden in his mind.

It’s the memory brought about by vegetarianism.

Li Xiao closed his eyes and thought for a while and said, "Actually, when it comes to dietary therapy, I am actually very good at it. My best specialty is vegetarian therapy, which is very useful for patients with liver disease."

"Vegetarian therapy?" The three Yang family members said in unison

"Yes, you can't eat beef or dog meat if you have liver disease, and you even need to eat less pork. Among vegetarian foods, fungus, mushrooms, tomatoes, kiwis, apples, leeks, pig blood, miscellaneous grains, and whole grains are all very protective for the liver.

No, I am now writing a vegetarian diet recipe. Can you guys try it for a while?

Of course, people with liver disease cannot eat large amounts of meat, which does not mean that they cannot eat meat at all. Some fish and chicken can still be eaten in moderation, so I will also add some to the recipe."

After hearing this, Yang Deshun stood up and grabbed Li Xiao's hand, "Then I'll leave this to you, Xiao Li."

He has nothing to worry about now. Both his daughters have married into good families, and [Yangliu Lane] is doing well now. Even if the third son doesn't care, nothing will go wrong.

The only thing he is worried about is his youngest son's health, which has been getting worse in recent years. He is really afraid that one day the white-haired man will give away the black-haired man.

Now I hear Li Xiao say that there is a way to treat his youngest son's liver disease, which is of course a surprise.

If the person who said such words was someone else, he might not believe it, and might even think that the other person was a charlatan.

But after seeing Li Xiao's cooking skills yesterday and today, his trust in this mysterious boy could not be increased.

How could a young man who was more capable than his own chef at a state-owned restaurant master the white soup dumplings that had been lost twenty years ago without a few special skills?

Although Li Xiao has always said that he comes from an ordinary family, how could an ordinary family produce such a young top chef?

You know, although Qian Zhiqiang obtained the qualification of a star chef by bribery and poisoning the judges.

But when it comes to the soup dumplings, Yang Deshun can pat his chest and say that the soup dumplings made by Qian Zhiqiang are really good. After all, Qian Zhiqiang had been working as a chef at [Yangliu Lane] before he left.

Yang Deshun always believed that Li Xiao just didn't want to reveal his true identity. He thought that Li Xiao must be a genius from a certain family of chefs who came out to practice his cooking skills.

Jiang Yingxue immediately found paper and pen.

Li Xiao took it and quickly wrote the recipe

Stir-fried pig blood with fungus,

Blanched chicken breast,

Scrambled eggs with tomatoes,

Leek coarse grain cake,

...

Li Xiao wrote a total of 60 kinds of them.

He handed the recipe to Yang Chengli's lover and said, "Auntie, take it."

"Hey" Zhang Lijuan took it with both hands respectfully. Although she accompanied her husband to seek medical treatment, she did not see the morning match with her own eyes.

But she knew very well who Qian Zhiqiang was. At that time, she was still working as a waiter in the store, and Qian Zhiqiang was still the chef in the kitchen. She had eaten the soup dumplings made by Qian Zhiqiang many times.

It tastes really good. To be honest, it's even better than what my husband's father makes.

She had heard that the young man in his early twenties before her could beat Qian Zhiqiang with a score of 72 to 28. She knew at a glance that he was not an ordinary person.

She was about to take a closer look at what this vegetarian therapy was when she heard Li Xiao explain.

"I mark A and B behind each recipe. There can be at most one A in each meal, but there is no mandatory limit on the number of B.

B can eat more, and A should eat less, but A cannot stop eating.

Except for this diet, if you have medicines, you need to take them normally, but try to eat as little food as possible outside of the diet, and of course, it is best not to eat them at all.

If you can persist for a long time, it should improve your liver."

Yang Deshun heard Li Xiao's instructions and said quickly, "Do you understand? A can't eat more or not eat, and B has to eat more, do you understand?"

Yang Chengli smiled bitterly. His liver function was declining and he was not deaf. He could definitely hear. However, he had been obedient since he was a child and understood that his father was only too concerned. So he smiled and said, "I know, father."

After reminding his son, Yang Deshun turned to his daughter-in-law who was reading the recipe carefully, "Juan'er, you also have to urge your husband to stop smoking.

Xiao Li is a capable person. Maybe if you eat, your body will really get better, and then maybe you can get pregnant? I can still take care of your baby while I can still move."

Everyone was a little embarrassed, especially Zhang Lijuan. This issue was usually discussed in private, but now there are two juniors here!

Yang Deshun's words made this woman in her forties feel embarrassed.

Li Xiao saw that the atmosphere was not right, and quickly said to a few people, "Okay, this is the recipe. I suddenly remembered that I have something to do here, so I left first." After saying that, he stood up.

"Hey, Xiaoxue, hurry up and send you Brother Li Xiao." Yang Deshun saw that Li Xiao had already walked to the door and urged him quickly.

Jiang Yingxue also felt that the atmosphere in the room was a bit awkward, and hurriedly walked towards the door.
