At that time, people believed that if a snake could grow for hundreds of years, it could turn into a python.
As the python sheds its skin, its scales gradually harden, turning from skin into scales.
When the python completes its transformation and its scales grow, it will transform into a young dragon.
Some people also call it dragon.
When Wu Xian saw the giant snake in the underground space, he mistook it for a young dragon.
Legends about young dragons have existed since ancient times, but no one has ever actually seen one!
When Wu Xian actually saw it, he was naturally indescribably excited and sincerely paid homage.
Originally, he thought that if he broke into the dragon's lair without permission, he would definitely anger the young dragon and kill him.
But he didn't expect that he would survive.
Wu Xian believed that the young dragon had a spirit, and his own sincerity was sensed by it, so he would not hurt him.
Wu Xian left the Dragon Vein Land and returned to Beijing to resume his duties. He reported everything he experienced while traveling westward to inspect the Dragon Vein Land to the Holy Emperor at that time.
After the emperor heard about the young dragon, he was very happy, so he ordered Wu Xian to guard the southwest dragon vein area full-time and guard the young dragon in it, hoping that one day the young dragon would ascend to heaven and turn into a real dragon.
Wu Xian accepted the order and returned to the southwest.
What follows can be regarded as the third part of the content recorded in the inscription!
After Wu Xian returned to this place, he saw that many local people were often troubled by snakes.
Wu Xian knew that these snakes were actually the descendants of the two young dragons, but they were not civilized and were not as spiritual as the young dragons and would not hurt people.
Finally, Wu Xian took the people assigned to him by the emperor and gathered all the village names in the Dragon Vein Land to build this town.
After the city was built, the emperor personally bestowed it with the name Zhenxian.
This is the origin of Zhenxian Ancient Town.
From the current point of view, this ancient town can only be regarded as a small town.
However, for that time, it could indeed be called a town.
There is one thing that is not recorded in the inscription. In fact, the stone used to build this town was a special stone found by Wu Xian using his own knowledge.
After the town was built, Wu Xian gathered all the villages from all over the Dragon Vein Land and placed them in the town.
On the one hand, it can protect them from being troubled by snakes, on the other hand, it is also to protect the young dragons in the dragon vein.
Wu Xian learned through his own method that young dragons will need meat every ten years.
Therefore, after Wu Xian calculated the approximate days, he set a rule in Zhenxian Ancient Town.
That is, every ten years, during the autumn period, a sacrifice must be held, using three animals and five animals to worship the young dragon.
Of course, Wu Xian didn't tell the people here about Wu Xian's meaningless baby dragon. He only said that it was the god who guarded the dragon's veins on the sacred mountain.
In the end, Wu Xian felt that his life was too short, less than one percent of the time it took for a young dragon to transform into a real dragon.
So Wu Xian erected this stone monument in this ancient town, hoping that after he dies, there will still be descendants who can inherit his will and protect the young dragon.
This is all the content of the inscription on the stone tablet.
I have to say that Wu Xian does have some extraordinary abilities.
Apart from anything else, some of the things recorded or not recorded in the inscriptions are not something that ordinary people can do.
Of course, there are several places that Wu Xian himself may not have fully understood.
For example, the reason why these two giant snakes need to eat meat to replenish their food is actually because the mother snake lays snake eggs, which consumes a lot of energy in the body, and not because the young dragons shed their armor as Wu Xian thought.
