Chapter 119: Multiple Attacks

Level 4 "Counter Evil" (Protection): The subject is surrounded by a layer of shimmering white holy energy, and gains the following benefits for the next 1 minute/casting level:

·Defense 4 when fighting against evil creatures.

·When hitting an evil creature from another world, you can choose to use up the remaining magic power of the spell and try to drive the opponent back to his hometown.

·Apply "Counter Evil" to a creature trapped by evil spells or enchantment, instantly removing such negative conditions.

In addition to "Counter Evil", Lisa can also choose a 4-ring magic spell. Under Gao Fei's suggestion, she chose the most practical "Any Door".

Sister Claire was promoted to level 9 "Animal Tamer", with hp 9 (71) and proficiency modifier 1.

Starting at level 9, "animal tamers" gain immunity to poisons and can use their animal companions as the starting point for spells.

Mario is promoted to a level 10 thief, with hp 8 (77), agility attribute 1 (22), and gains "magic resistance".

Finally, there is "Archangel" Umberto, who was promoted to level 12 "Swift Swordsman", with hp 9 (103), agility 1 (24), and awakened the core professional ability "Instant Acceleration".

Instant Acceleration: Learn the 3-level "Acceleration Spell". In addition to the normal casting method, you can also spend a "bonus action" or "reaction action" to instantly activate the "Acceleration Spell" during combat without spending additional magic points.

Under normal circumstances, a spellcaster must first learn the metamagic feat of "Spell Promptness" and spend an additional 8 magic points as a metamagic price before he can cast spells instantly in combat.

Considering that the upper limit of the magic value invested in a spell must not be higher than the caster level, unless one acquires a skill such as "Skilled Spellcaster" to increase the caster level, otherwise a person who wants to cast a 3-level "Acceleration" instantly will need at least

It is very difficult to have 15 spellcasting levels!

"Swiss Swordsman" is an exception.

Not only will you automatically learn "Acceleration" when you reach level 12, it will also come with instant spellcasting, and you can turn on or off the acceleration state at any time during battle.

Considering that the professional abilities of the "Swift Swordsman" also include "dexterous movements" and "wind movement" and other speed-increasing skills, if you turn on the "acceleration technique", the movement speed will be unimaginable!

In fact, the biggest feature of the "Swift Swordsman" profession is the ultimate pursuit of speed.

Gao Fei imagined that if he faced Umberto, a level 12 "Swift Swordsman", in a one-on-one duel, excluding those evil means that exploited loopholes in the game rules, the chance of winning would be less than 40%.

There is no reward profession in this chapter, but the three candidate reward feats make Gao Fei's eyes brighter: "Weapon Specialization", "Great Slash", and "Multiple Attack".

"Multiple attacks?!"

Gao Fei was stunned.

This specialty was no stranger to him, but in the past it had only appeared on monsters and NPCs.

Gao Fei himself has never seen this option in the list of reward specialties, and none of his friends from the SWAT team, including Jiang Feng, Ma Yun, Ma Tao and others, have taken this speciality.

Even on the "Tianren Forum", there are so many discussion posts about bonus feats, but no player seems to have provided conclusive evidence that he has really obtained "Multiple Attacks" in the game.

Therefore, the special police officers, including Gao Fei, have always had two speculations about "multiple attacks":

This expertise is either exclusive to NPCs and monsters and cannot be obtained by players; or it belongs to the category of legendary expertise.

Until this moment, both of the above conjectures had been overturned by the facts in front of Gao Fei.

"Multiple Attack" can be learned by players, and it is not a legendary feat. The reason why no one has seen it before is more likely because the game design department is controversial on this issue and does not want to include this feat as a reward for the module.

list.

As a regular specialty, "Multiple Attack" is too strong. It is not like "Stand Standing". It has several troublesome prerequisite specialties. The learning cost is too low and the benefits are too high.

But treating it as a "legendary expertise" is a bit inadequate.

Now it seems that Tiangong Game Design Department has decided to put "Multiple Attacks" into the reward list, which is of course good news for the majority of players.

But Gao Fei still doesn't know whether all modules have the opportunity to get "Multiple Attacks", or only a very small number of customized modules or ultra-long modules can enjoy this benefit?

Withdrawing his thoughts, Gao Fei looked at the detailed descriptions of the three bonus feats.

Weapon Specialization: Choose one of the three weapon types: "Slashing", "Piercing" or "Bludgeoning", and the damage caused is additionally calculated into the proficiency modifier.

This feat allows to be stacked with abilities such as "Powerful Attack", "Weapon Proficiency", and "Mastery of Shield Bash".

Great Cleave (Prerequisite: Cleave): After a melee attack hits, spend a bonus action to add two additional melee attacks.

This feat cannot be stacked with "Clear Cut", but overwrites and replaces the latter in the feat list.

Multiple attacks (prerequisite: proficiency bonus ≥ 4): Spend a standard action to use a weapon or natural weapon to launch two consecutive attacks against a target, or attack two different hostile targets separately.

This feat allows to be superimposed with abilities such as "Close Cut", "Quick Shot", "Great Cleave", and "Multiple Shot".

If the character is good at other types of "multiple attacks", such as the "multiple attack" talent that comes with dragon creatures, you can choose the best one based on the actual combat situation.

"Weapon Specialization" is similar to "Weapon Specialization" and can be selected multiple times, each time selecting a weapon type.

It is worth noting that "Weapon Specialization" does not conflict with damage-increasing feats such as "Power Attack".

If a person masters both Weapon Specialization and Power Attack, he or she can apply double the proficiency modifier to damage dealt by melee attacks.

Next is "Grand Cleave", a high-level substitute of "cleave", which is equivalent to the melee version of "Multiple Shot".

It comes with two combos of actions. This performance is quite excellent, and Gao Fei can't help but feel a little excited.

After taking a closer look, I suddenly found that this expertise is gray - it can be taken as an elective, but cannot be used.

This is why?

Gao Fei thought for a long time before he figured it out.

If you want to learn "Grand Slash", you must first master the prerequisite skill "Slash".

The character currently played by Gao Fei, level 10 "Imulator" Musk Justice, has never learned "Chunk" at all. Under normal circumstances, he cannot choose "Grand Cleave".

However, as long as Gao Fei puts on the "Warrior Mask", he can use the professional ability of this "Magic Mask" to obtain the "Chunk Cut" expertise, which satisfies the prerequisites for learning "Grand Cleave".
