Chapter 5: Kidnapping

"Excuse me, who is Mr. Roger Wayne?" the waitress asked.
"I'm Roger Wayne."
"Someone just sent a note and asked me to pass it on to you."
Rogge took the note handed by the waitress with a knowing smile on his lips.
"Sorry, brother, I have to go first." Rogge patted Martin on the shoulder, pretending to be sorry, "Louise invited me to watch a ballet performance, starring her good friend Ms. Yinwa Vidal.
I have to go support him."
"Is it really such a coincidence?" Martin is a detective after all, and he vaguely felt something was wrong, "Could it be that your kid had said hello to Louise in advance and asked her to find an excuse to send you away?"
"Don't be suspicious, we really have an impromptu appointment." Rogge stood up, "If you don't believe it, how about going to watch the ballet performance with me?"
Martin hesitated for a moment and shook his head decisively.
"Lap dance...well, I mean ballet is certainly good, but it's too elegant for a small citizen like me. I really can't appreciate it. I'd rather stay here and take a bath and get a massage."
"It's up to you. Take it easy when you do it. Don't tire yourself to death on a woman's belly."
Roger joked a few words, got up and left the bathhouse.
Martin is not a man who is willing to be lonely.
As soon as Roger left, he grabbed the waitress and ordered a full massage service.
"Sir, hold on to your card. Miss Bethelina, our top technician at the Happy Hall, is waiting for you in Room 8 upstairs."
"Great!" Martin took the card and ran upstairs excitedly.

The game screen switches again, and the stage reaches a restaurant near the theater.
Martin's guess was indeed correct. Rogge really didn't want to accompany him to whoring, so he wrote a note to his girlfriend in advance, asking her to find an excuse to remove him from the "Happy Hall".
When Louise received his letter, she was doing charity work with her best friend Yin Wa in church, and they were discussing going shopping together in the afternoon.
Louise laughed out loud when she saw her boyfriend's letter asking for help. She even showed the letter to Yin Wa and asked her what to do.
"Mr. Wayne could have kept it secret from you, just like most men, but he resisted the temptation. This is rare. He is a good man worth trusting for life."
Listening to Yin Wa's praise of Roger, Louise was also very proud, so she discussed with her best friend if she would mind if she called her boyfriend over and had dinner together.
"Of course I don't mind, just don't think I'm in the way."
In this way, Roger left his good brother Martin behind and came to the restaurant to meet the two ladies.
While the three of them were eating, a man in a peaked cap walked in, with his head lowered, hurried past their table, dropped a note, and ran out of the restaurant in a blink of an eye, disappearing without a trace.
Roger, Louise and Yin Wa looked at each other, feeling baffled.
Roger reached for the note, but Louise stopped him.
"Don't be careless!" Louise warned her boyfriend in a low voice, "That kid was sneaky just now and didn't look like a good person. He might have tampered with the note, such as applying poison!"
"Let me do it." Yin Wa picked up the note without changing her expression.
She looks like a normal person, but is actually a high-level golem with intelligence. She has both a flesh and blood body and structural properties, and is immune to all toxins.
There is no quenching on the note, but there are two lines of scrawled text written on it. It seems to be written with the left hand, deliberately concealing the characteristics of the handwriting.
"Martin Page is in our hands. If we want him to return home alive, let's exchange for Seleus! The hostage will be exchanged at midnight tomorrow, and the location will be notified later!"
Yin Wa read out the words on the note in a low voice, frowning slightly.
"There was no name of the person signing the note, only a red anchor symbol."
"The Blood Anchor Gang!" Roger and Louise shouted at the same time.
"Sorry, I have to excuse you now!" Rogge jumped up anxiously, "That idiot Martin must have been kidnapped by gangsters in the Happy Hall. I have to go back and take a look, maybe I can find clues!"
"I'll go with you." Louise also stood up.
Yin Wa folded the note, stuffed it into her handbag, and said to her two friends: "Since the Blood Anchor Gang has kidnapped Mr. Page, they will expect that you are eager to rescue them, and may use Mr. Page to set up a trap to lure you.
If you take the bait, don't act impulsively."
"Yin Wa, you are right, we have to be careful. Louise's pretty face showed murderous intent.
"Louise, Roger, I will go with you to rescue Mr. Page. I hope I can be of help."
Rogge and Louise were worried about being alone, so Yin Wa took the initiative to lend a helping hand, which of course was what she asked for.
From this moment on, Gao Fei and Jiang Feng were officially brought into the perspective of the male and female protagonists, and the system also displayed two prompts one after another.

Gao Fei, Jiang Feng and Yin Wa hurried to the Happy Hall and asked the proprietress about Martin's whereabouts.
The landlady recognized Gao Fei as the great detective who had appeared in the newspaper, and did not dare to neglect him. She quickly called the waitress who had been serving in the steam room over and asked her where Martin had gone.
"About two hours ago, Mr. Page ordered a full massage service and then went to the private room on the second floor before the bell went off." The waitress answered truthfully.
