Chapter 657: Doubt about Buddhism

"Snapped……."

After receiving a loud slap, Wang Taoren was stunned. He was thinking about how to solve the problem of the Bai family, and he was not wary of the unconscious Bai Xiangwei next to him.

"Stinking rogue……."

Bai Xiangwei said and broke away suddenly, then looked nervously at her clothes and the surrounding environment.

"Sister...you seem to have hit the wrong person. This is Master Mengkong who saved you..."

Bai Zaohu couldn't help but laugh. Seeing Wang Tao touching his face and twitching, he almost laughed out loud.

"Master Mengkong who saved me?"

Bai Xiangwei patted her head, as if thinking about the scene before she fell into coma. At that time, she did vaguely see someone stopping Bai Zaohu from taking her away.

"Yes, he is a monk who came to hang out orders from outside. He refused to let me take you away and even beat him away..."

Bai Zaohu said as he passed by. Bai Xiangwei, who knew that she had wrongly blamed a good person, turned red, forced out a smile in embarrassment, and then looked at Wang Tao apologetically.

"I'm sorry, I...missed you."

Bai Xiangwei looked at Wang Tao's changing appearance, a trace of surprise flashed in her eyes.

This guy looks like... that guy!

Bai Xiangwei noticed her own thoughts and quickly recited Amitabha silently before suppressing the strange thoughts in her heart.

"It's okay. Solving your secular affairs is the most important thing right now. Please take me to Liu's house and see if we can resolve it peacefully."

Wang Tao's expression returned to normal. He spoke calmly and motioned to Bai Zaohu to lead the way.

Bai Zaohu glanced at Bai Xiangwei and suddenly felt uneasy in his heart. If Bai Xiangwei didn't go and Monk Mengkong protected him, he would be helpless. But what surprised him was that Bai Xiangwei actually changed her previous determination and gently

Nod.

"Okay, the car is outside."

Bai Zaohu said, instructing the bodyguards to take the injured to the hospital, and he led Wang Tao and Bai Xiangwei out of Ciyun Temple.

"Wait a minute, let me speak to the abbot."

When they arrived at the main hall, Bai Xiangwei suddenly said, and then glanced at Wang Tao without any trace.

"Um."

Bai Zaohu nodded slightly, and Wang Tao had no objection.

After Bai Xiangwei finished speaking, she walked towards the Zen room next to the main hall where the abbot chanted sutras. Sure enough, the abbot was meditating inside.

"Master Duhai."

"Well, it's Hui'an, are you thinking about it?"

There are ten octogenarians in Duhai, and they can hardly open their eyes.

"Yes, I have six impure roots and will have to face them."

"Well, it's rare for you to have this enlightenment. You must know that the Buddha is in your heart, not in the temple. If you are enlightened, everyone will be a Buddha."

Du Hai said and closed his eyes again.

"Everyone is a Buddha, wouldn't it be an insult to the Buddha?"

"Buddha is not a human being, but the Tao. His heart is the Tao, he sees his nature and becomes a Buddha."

"I seem to understand that Buddha will not come if you ask outside, but if you ask your heart, you will find the Buddha. Isn't this Zen Buddhism?"

"Zen is the Buddha, and the Dharma should be easily accessible to people like songs and movies. There is no need for Buddha statues, let alone temples, and there is no need to abide by the precepts and rules. Only by meditating on the Buddha in your heart can you be the future Buddha. Only then can you save the world and become a Buddha.

, turn the country into a Buddhist country.”

"Master Duhai, what happened recently?"

Bai Xiangwei devoted herself to the Buddha and sought peace of mind. Now that she heard that people in the world can become Buddhas without becoming a monk, she suddenly became suspicious.

"Nothing, I just feel that Buddha divides levels, atones for sins, distinguishes good and evil, distinguishes between men and women, regulates body and mind, and talks about emptiness of nature, which is inconsistent with the Dharma. Buddha does need to be reformed, otherwise it will be difficult to adapt to or even guide human society, let alone save people.

The grand ideal of the other side.”

The old abbot said, waving his hand to signal Bai Xiangwei to go out.

Bai Xiangwei's heart was filled with excitement, then she clasped her palms together seriously, recited Amitabha silently, and was about to leave, but she suddenly remembered something and asked again.

"Master Abbot, have any monks come to Ciyun Temple to place orders recently?"

Wang Tao was using his spiritual mind to eavesdrop on the conversation between the two. When Bai Xiangwei asked about this, his heart tightened.

How about you, Bai Xiangwei? Even though you are a monk, you are still more thoughtful than others.

Wang Tao suddenly became nervous, thinking about how he would explain it later when he was exposed. However, a scene that shocked him appeared.

"Huh...huh..."

Master Du Hai closed his eyes and snored from his mouth, and he actually fell asleep.

"Master Abbot, is the monk who made the order called Mengkong?"

Seeing Master Duhai sleeping, Bai Xiangwei gritted her teeth and asked without giving up.

"Huh...huh..."

Master Duhai was still fast asleep and ignored her at all.

Bai Xiangwei didn't get an answer, so she had to stand up and walk out. Her eyes flickered as if she was thinking about something.

Seeing that Du Hai didn't expose his lie, Wang Tao felt relieved, but he felt something was wrong, and suddenly he was startled.

What if the abbot pretended to be asleep on purpose? How could it be such a coincidence that he was talking at length one second and fell asleep in the next moment?

Wang Tao was puzzled, and then his consciousness entered Du Hai's body, and he quickly checked his body, and then his face was full of surprise.

Under his consciousness, the old abbot's body was transparent, extremely weak, and his vitality was slowly dissipating, and he was about to go to the west.

But the divine light in his mind seemed to be much stronger than that of ordinary people. In addition, there was a mysterious aura about him. This mysterious aura spread into the void and seemed to be related to something.

Even if Wang Tao is well-informed now, he still can't tell what this mysterious aura is. As for going into the void to explore, it's not appropriate at the moment. He can only keep this matter in mind and wait until the Bai family's affairs are dealt with before slowly exploring.

.

Is there really a Buddha in the world? This breath is the energy of Buddhism?
