Chapter 1008 The Curse of Greed

After the three of them arrived in Hogsmeade, they decided to go to Honeydukes Candy Shop first, which is one of the favorite places for Hogwarts students after arriving in Hogsmeade.

The scent of butterscotch in Honeydukes Candy Shop always makes people happy, and Hermione planned to buy some candies from the store as gifts.

When the three of them were about to enter the candy store, someone happened to come out of the store. That person was an acquaintance of theirs. It should be said that anyone who was a student at Hogwarts knew the famous Albert Anderson.

At this moment, Albert was holding a paper bag filled with candy in his hand and was talking to the red-haired girl next to him, seemingly not noticing the three of them.

When Harry entered the store, he found that all the girls in the store were staring at the door of the store, and some of them chewed the lollipops in their mouths.

"Albert is still so popular."

As soon as Harry entered the store, he quickly moved aside so as not to block the girls' view.

"Who is that guy?" Ron muttered.

"Albert's girlfriend, a very charming girl." Hermione was a little envious. She was very close just now, and she could clearly feel the gentle and elegant temperament of Isobel.

In fact, not only girls, but also many boys were staring at their leaving figures.

Who doesn't like beautiful girls?

Just like girls like handsome boys.

"No, I mean who is the boy next to Ginny?" Ron didn't feel the glances from the girls at all. He was still standing at the door of the candy store, not knowing where he was looking.

Just now, Ron saw Ginny following a boy into the Three Broomsticks.

"What." Harry was a little confused.

"Michael Corner." Hermione nudged Ron to signal him not to block the door of the candy store, "Ginny is in love with him."

"My sister is in a relationship?" Ron said with a shocked face.

"Keep your voice down Ron, do you want everyone to hear?"

George came out of nowhere, put his hand on Ron's shoulder, and motioned for his brother to shut up.

"Ginny has also reached the age to start dating. I remember that Albert found a girlfriend in his second year of school." Lee Jordan was checking out at the counter with several large boxes of Bibi's all-flavored beans in his hands.

"How old was he then?"

Hermione was a little surprised. How old was Albert when he was in second grade? He started dating at twelve or thirteen?

"Don't listen to that guy's nonsense. He just fell out of love recently." George didn't want any weird rumors to spread in school tomorrow.

"You are the only one who is lovelorn, no, you don't even have your first love." Lee Jordan laughed.

George shrugged indifferently, and after paying the money, he put his hand on Lee Jordan's shoulder and left the candy store.

"When?" Ron asked through gritted teeth.

"They met at the Yule Ball at the end of last year," Hermione replied casually, looking for the candy she wanted on the shelves, "and then they started dating."

"No wonder that guy was there at that time." Ron muttered, staring at the cream mints in the carton, "I thought Ginny liked Harry."

"Ginny used to like Harry." Hermione took some Super Bubble Gum and turned to Harry and said, "Of course, it's not that Ginny doesn't like you, she just gave up."

"Oh!" Harry didn't pay attention to what Hermione said. His eyes passed through the window glass of the candy shop and fell on Cho Chang who was holding Digory's wrist. The two of them walked towards the Three Broomsticks not far away.

.

Hermione glanced at Ron, who was nagging endlessly, and then at Harry, whose attention was attracted by the girl. She sighed softly and said, "Ginny knew that you would explode when she heard it, so she didn't tell you that she was following

For God's sake, be mature about Michael's relationship, Ron."

"Who's going to explode when they hear that?" Ron muttered angrily.

"Then you should be happy that Ginny has found a boyfriend." Hermione looked at Ron, who was still cursing Michael Corner in a low voice, and turned to ask Harry, who was holding a candy quill next to him: "What about you?

, Harry?”

Gu Hao/span "What am I?" Harry asked absently.

"Aren't you going to give up yet?" Hermione lowered her voice and said, "You just couldn't take your eyes away from Cho Chang."

"I don't know what you're talking about." Harry felt his cheeks burning, feeling annoyed that his thoughts had been exposed.

"Giving up for what?" Ron asked stupidly, obviously not hearing what Hermione said before him.

"Have you found what you want to buy?" Harry quickly changed the subject and said, "Let's go to the Three Broomsticks for a drink!"

Hermione sighed and did not try to persuade her. She could naturally see that Harry liked Cho Chang, but there was no way there would be a result between the two parties, because the person Cho Chang liked was Cedric Diggory. As far as Hermione knew, Harry liked Cho Chang.

Cedric and Cho had been dating for a long time, and Harry's invitation to the Christmas dance partner last year was doomed to fail.

The three of them bought a large bag of candies in the store, then left the candy store that was filled with the scent of toffee, and headed to the very lively Three Broomsticks bar not far away.

Every time we visit Hogsmeade, everyone goes to the Three Broomsticks pub for a cup of butterbeer.

The place was crowded with Hogwarts students, and the three of them also met George and Lee Jordan, who were whispering to Mundungus, a member of the Order of the Phoenix.

"What do you think they are doing?" Hermione stared warily at the leather bag Mundungus handed to George.

"They occasionally get some smuggled contraband from Mundungus." Harry knew some secrets. He once caught them doing a secret deal. "Some of their joke props require a small amount of contraband raw materials."

Harry's eyes scanned the customers in the bar, looking for that familiar figure.

"I'm actually more curious about where Fred went." Ron's eyes kept falling on Mrs. Rosmerta, the charming proprietress at the bar.

"Would you like a glass of whiskey?" Hermione said suddenly.

"That's a good idea." Ron stood up and wanted to go to the bar to order a hot whiskey.

"She won't sell it to you."

"How do you know?" Ron retorted.

"You're not of age yet." Hermione took a sip of butterbeer, looked at Ron who ran to the bar to order a hot whiskey, and shook her head with a hopeless expression.

In fact, both of them knew that Ron had secretly liked Mrs. Rosmerta for a long time, just like Hermione and Ron knew that Harry liked Cho Chang, and they also knew that Hermione liked Albert.

"I really don't know what's going on in Ron's head," Hermione muttered.

"Hermione, where are you?" Harry asked.

"Me? I just kind of admire him." Faced with Harry's question, Hermione's reaction was very dull. She knew what Harry was referring to, "In fact, most of the girls in Hogwarts admire Abel."

Well, just like those girls also like handsome Cedric."

Hermione has a clearer mind than Harry and Ron. Her love for Albert is more like chasing stars. Many girls in Hogwarts actually have a similar mentality.

Not long after, Ron came back dejectedly. Apparently he didn't buy any Hot Fire whiskey and he looked a little depressed.

Harry and Hermione didn't speak either, and there was a brief silence.

At this moment, Fred appeared out of nowhere, and the conversation at the long table next door attracted the attention of the three people again.

"It's over so soon." Lee Jordan joked, "You must have been rejected by Angelina!"

"No, Angelina said she plans to devote most of her energy to Quidditch this semester." Fred shrugged and said, "But you are willing to keep in touch with me after graduation. You can't expect everyone to be like Albert.

So lucky."

"We just met Albert. They are shopping at Honeydukes Candy Store." George lowered his voice and said, "I suspect they often come here for dates."

"I dare say Angelina just wants to find an excuse to get rid of you." Lee Jordan took a sip of butterbeer and muttered, "otherwise she definitely wouldn't have said those things."

"as long as you are happy."

Fred didn't tell the truth just now, but Angelina actually agreed.
