Chapter 22 The Room of Requirement

When Albert woke up, the dormitory was dark, and there was a faint sound of rain outside the window. The rain last night has not stopped yet.

Albert sat up from the bed and reached out to cover a yawn. It was all because of the strange dream last night that he felt very tired when he woke up.

Moreover, he woke up too early, and the three people in his dormitory were still sleeping.

Albert reached out to the head of the bed, picked up the wand placed in the corner, and whispered the incantation: "Fluorescent flash."

The front end of the wand emitted a pale light. He put the glowing wand against the mechanical pocket watch and looked at the time: 5:40.

Sure enough, I woke up too early.

Albert extinguished the light on the wand and lay back on the bed. The mechanical pocket watch slipped from his hand and fell on the sheets.

This is a gift Luke bought for himself to celebrate his invitation to Hogwarts.

Now that he was awake, Albert had no intention of returning to sleep. He sat up on the bed again, stretched, pushed aside the sheets and got out of bed and walked to the window. He opened the wooden bolt, opened the wooden window and looked outside the tower.

.

A gust of cold wind blew in his face, Albert couldn't help but shiver, and his head suddenly woke up.

It wasn't raining very hard, it was still dark outside, and the whole castle was shrouded in a hazy rain curtain.

"A great adventure." Albert patted his cheek and muttered quietly.

After closing the window, Albert returned to the bed, took out the robe from the suitcase and put it on. He picked up the pocket watch and wand beside the bed and put them into his pocket. Before he walked out of the dormitory, he stopped again and threw away the clothes he had just changed.

Entering the basket in the bathroom, the house elf will use magic to wash the clothes and put them back on his bed.

Having said that, students at Hogwarts are actually living a good life. They don't need to worry about many things, they just need to learn magic with peace of mind.

The common room was quiet, except for a female ghost sitting on the sofa reading a book. When she heard footsteps, she raised her head and glanced at Albert, then continued to lower her head and read her books.

Albert didn't bother Ms. Ghost. Although he wanted to chat with her, he gave up in the end. He hated being disturbed when he was reading.

Albert did not stay in the lounge and planned to walk around the castle before everyone got up and look for the legendary Room of Requirement.

Pushing open the door of the lounge, Albert bent down and stepped out of the circular door. The fat lady was still wearing a pajamas and looked at the leaving students with sleepy eyes.

She asked: "Where are you going?"

"Take a walk." Albert looked towards the dim corridor, raised his wand and moved on. This time, he did not plan to take the same path he took last night, but planned to go somewhere else.

Perhaps, because it was raining outside, the corridor was cold and damp, much like a spooky castle in a ghost movie. Ghosts might come out of the walls at any time, scaring people half to death.

In fact, there are indeed ghosts in Hogwarts Castle, and there are quite a lot of them. Even if a ghost comes out of the wall now, it is not a strange thing.

As soon as he turned the corner, Albert saw the stone steps he came up last night. This time, he did not go down, but continued forward.

Turning another corridor, Albert found a large vase in front of him. He turned his head and looked around, and he actually found the tapestry of a giant monster wearing a tutu.

"It seems that I am lucky."

Albert quickened his pace, walked to the tapestry, raised his wand, and used the light above to look at the strange tapestry in front of him. He could only describe it as unbearable to look at.

On the tapestry, a group of trolls dressed in ballet costumes, holding wooden or bone clubs, were posing in various enchanting poses. A ballet teacher was trying to teach the trolls to dance, but was beaten severely by one of the trolls with a bone club.

While Albert was observing the tapestry, the troll stopped beating the ballet teacher and turned to look at him, as if asking, "What are you looking at?"

If he had brought a camera, Albert would have taken a photo of this very funny scene.

However, the most important thing now is the Room of Requirement, which is located in the white wall opposite this tapestry.

Albert gave up his position, turned around and looked at the white wall, then turned his head again, looked at the tapestry, raised his right hand, and made a tapping motion towards the troll.

The giant monster with tooth decay actually imitated him by raising its bone club and hitting the poor ballet teacher.

This scene is so heartbreaking that it makes people cry.

Albert laughed happily, walked towards the white wall, reached out and touched the white wall. This was a very hard stone wall, and there was no so-called room of response.

The conditions for entering the Room of Requirement are to pass through this wall three times and concentrate on thinking about what you need.

"Go through?" Albert raised his wand, and a pale light illuminated one end of the white wall. There was a window on that side. He turned around and saw a vase as tall as a person.

So, it actually happened three times?

"A place to practice magic, a place to practice magic..." Albert concentrated his attention, walked to the window at one end of the white wall and turned back, then turned back to the vase at the other end.

He muttered something under his breath, and when he turned around for the third time, something changed on the wall.

Countless patterns appear from the white wall, and a smooth door gradually emerges.

Albert was in a good mood because he knew he had succeeded. He held the copper handle, opened the door and walked in. Inside was a spacious room with torches lit around the walls, a bit like a classroom.

There were many wooden bookshelves along the wall, with hundreds of books on them. Albert suspected that these books were moved from the library. On the other side, there were some puppets used to practice magic.

"That's great." Albert said softly. With these books, he didn't need to go to the library to find books.

However, you still need to be careful not to be discovered when using this place. After all, if a door suddenly appears on the wall, it is easy to attract others' attention.

Albert did not stay any longer and turned to leave the Room of Requirement. He was going to consider how to use this place covertly.

If he doesn't want people to know, he needs to make sure he doesn't meet anyone when he comes in and doesn't meet anyone else when he goes out. This way he can keep the secret here.

He needs the Disguise Charm and the Marauder's Map.

You should be able to find the Disguise Charm in the pile of books just now, but the Marauder's Map is not easy to get from Filch.

Make one yourself?

He doesn't have the ability now.

Forget it, take your time! Anyway, I have to stay here for seven years.

After Albert turned around and left, the door to the Room of Requirement slowly disappeared again and turned into an ordinary white wall again. Not many people in the school knew that there was a magical room here.
