Chapter 303: Choosing a New Course

The Easter vacation is coming soon, and the students at Hogwarts are beginning to become restless again, wishing that the school would be on vacation immediately so that they could have a good time.

However, the professors at Hogwarts did not seem to intend for the students to have a peaceful Easter, and more and more homework was assigned, piling up in front of their desks.

If you complete all your homework during the Easter holiday, you probably won’t have a good time celebrating the holiday.

Fred and George's tempers also became grumpy. Not only did they have to be busy with homework, they also had to take time to compete with Albert every day in magical battles, plus Quidditch training three times a week.

Speaking of Quidditch, the twin brothers were depressed. The Gryffindor team's next Quidditch match was against Hufflepuff.

Although they have lost two games, Charlie insisted that the team members train hard to ensure better results next semester. Therefore, in addition to Quidditch training, magic confrontation and homework completion, Fred and George also

There is almost no time for anything else.

"I feel like I've lost weight!"

In the Transfiguration class, Fred was trying to turn the little white rabbit into a slipper. While poking the poor little guy with his wand, he complained to Albert next to him that he was so busy lately that he couldn't breathe.

If they can't turn the little white rabbit in front of them into slippers, it means they have to take time to practice transfiguration during Easter. This is not good news. They have enough things to do.

What made Fred the most angry and depressed was that Albert only tried once and successfully turned the little white rabbit into slippers. After several times in a row, his slippers became more and more exquisite.

Albert is so far ahead of them in transfiguration, even Katrina of Ravenclaw has been left far behind.

Everyone was so busy just learning magic and dealing with the heavy homework. Albert could always find time to do other things, which made the three of them wonder whether Albert really only had twenty-four hours a day.

?

You really can't compare people. When you compare, you will feel that the gap is really big, which makes people feel extremely bad.

"Weasley, stop tossing that poor little white rabbit, otherwise he will be put in solitary confinement." Professor McGonagall's stern voice interrupted Fred's complaint, and many people in the class turned their heads.

come over.

"Sorry." Fred muttered. He caught the little white rabbit that was trying to escape and patted its head like Albert did, trying to calm it down again.

"This is much harder than turning a beetle into a button." George's face was filled with sadness. His little white rabbit was still a little white rabbit. However, Shanna's little white rabbit had undergone some changes, but there were still stains on her slippers.

There are obvious bunny ears, and they can also move. It obviously failed, but the change is a good sign.

"Do you have any secrets to success?" Fred couldn't help but ask.

"There is no shortcut to learning Transfiguration, Weasley. Transfiguration is a delicate subject. You need to train very hard to succeed. You still have a long way to go in this regard," Professor McGonagall said calmly.

, this is not the first time she has heard someone ask such a question.

"I've never seen Albert spend much time on this!" Fred couldn't help but muttered. He felt that Albert had spent far less time on transfiguration recently than on magic confrontation.

However, after Fred noticed Professor McGonagall's gaze moving over again, he immediately shut up.

"Easter is coming soon. I hope you don't just play and forget about your homework. It's best that what happened during the last Christmas vacation doesn't happen again. I suggest you finish your homework first and then go play."

Professor McGonagall walked back to the podium, took out a pile of papers from the roll call and distributed them.

Everyone took the list, looked at the contents, and whispered among themselves.

"This is the new course list. When you are in third grade, you need to choose new courses. You have enough time to consider this matter during the Easter holiday." Professor McGonagall's expression was serious, "Everyone needs at least one.

Choose two courses. If you don’t understand, you can ask me, or ask your elders for advice. You need to treat it with caution, as this will affect your future."

"Professor, can you introduce these five new courses to us?" someone said.

"Divination pays more attention to talent. There are very few people in the magic world who can truly predict the future. Most of them are liars who pretend to be divination." Professor McGonagall said.

Many students couldn't help but smile. They had heard about Professor Sybill Trelawney's deeds. Many students thought she was a liar and could not foresee the future at all.

"If you want to engage in work that is closely related to Muggles in the future, it is best to choose Muggle studies. Of course, I know that some wizards grew up around Muggles and should be better at this aspect." Professor McGonagall continued, "

Many wizards don't know how to deal with Muggles."

"Unless Professor Charity Bubbaji of Muggle Studies is a wizard who grew up around Muggles." Albert whispered, "Otherwise, I don't think that professor may know much."

As you can see from Arthur Weasley asking what a rubber duck does, wizards have very little understanding of Muggles.

"If you like outdoor activities and dealing with magical animals, you can choose the Care of Magical Creatures course."

"Charlie chose Care of Magical Creatures. He said there were not many students in the advanced class of Care of Magical Creatures." George said in a low voice.

"Arithmetic divination and ancient runes are suitable for wizards who like to study magic. If you want to become a curse breaker, you also need to be proficient in these two subjects."

"The former needs to be sensitive to numbers and can use numerology and grammar to predict the future. Wizards and witches who learn and practice arithmetic are called arithmetic."

"The latter has something to do with archeology and alchemy. It requires your talent in language. There are very few wizards who are really good at ancient magic texts." Professor McGonagall's eyes stayed on Albert for a moment and continued: "Of course

, if any of you plan to choose all subjects, you can come to me privately. But I don’t recommend that you choose them all, because the busy study pressure may make you overwhelmed. If you are not particularly good at studying, I generally do not recommend that you choose them all.

select."

"Isobel will choose them all." Katrina muttered quietly, thinking about whether she should choose them all.

"It depends on what you plan to do in the future." Professor McGonagall reminded, "Go back and think carefully before making a decision."

Fred, George and Lee Jordan were not afraid that the courses they chose would be difficult to learn. Even if it was really difficult, Albert was willing to help them, not to mention that they only chose the easier courses of divination and protecting magical animals.

I have no plans to develop in that direction in the future.
