845 Don't think I'll be grateful to you

Jiang Nai turned a deaf ear to the noise outside and found an empty seat by the window to sit down.

Sure enough, Xiao Bingcubi ordered her a rather sumptuous breakfast, including porridge, noodles, wontons and dumplings, as well as all kinds of pastries, which filled the whole table.

People passing by the window couldn't help but glance at her.

But Jiang Nai didn't look sideways and asked Yanyan to sit down and eat together.

Yanyan didn't dare to go beyond the rules, she just served tea and water with all her heart.

Jiang Nai didn't have many rules when eating. Seeing Yanyan standing upright, he simply reached out and pulled her to sit down.

Yanyan saw that she had almost eaten, so she started to use her chopsticks.

Jiang Nai looked out of the window and saw two women walking over with happy faces, carrying a bag of medicine, chatting and laughing. As they walked, he praised: "That girl Mianmian from the Jiang family is really a kind-hearted woman."

"you do not say."

"Miss Mianmian's medical skills are really good. The beggar was still bloody when he carried him over, but she was able to revive him in just a few strokes."

"It's really breathtaking."

Yanyan put her chopsticks aside and asked in a low voice, "Master, do you want to go over and take a look?"

"No need. Just enjoy your food." Jiang Nai picked up a cup of tea and smiled vaguely.

"Don't worry about other people's business."

"Yes." Yanyan lowered her head and continued to slurp the noodles in the bowl.

Jiang Nai held her chin in one hand and looked out the window at the crowded street. Her eyes fell on a group of children running around happily, and a slight curve formed on her lips.

"The sunshine is really nice today."

Yanyan glanced out the window, chewed and nodded, "Yeah."

Jiang Nai murmured to himself: "How wonderful would it be if the sun shined so brightly every day from now on."

Yanyan was stunned, thinking how could this be possible.

The moon waxes and wanes, not to mention the weather, which changes at a moment's notice.

It's midsummer now, and you might fall out of favor at any moment, and you might get a heavy rainstorm right away.

But the master is the master, no matter how naive you think, it is still right.

Yanyan speeded up and finished a bowl of noodles, took out her handkerchief and wiped her mouth, "Master, are you going back to Li's Mansion now?"

Jiang Nai nodded, "Have you finished eating?"

"Um."

"Let's go then." Just as the two of them were about to get up, they saw a dirty, thin hand reaching out to their table, grabbing two buns, turning around and running away.

"Hey, stop, stop!" The two guys rushed over and grabbed the boy who was in tattered clothes and smelled bad.

One of the waiters held the little beggar by the ear, twisted it and cursed: "You stinking beggar, how dare you come into our store and act wild? I won't beat you to death."

"Hey." Jiang Nai called out calmly.

"Someone must have paid the bill for this table."

"Yes, yes, the noble gentleman has already paid the bill for the girl before."

"Then here are several plates of pastries that have not been touched. Pack them up and take them away with the child."

The waiter was startled, and quickly let go of the beggar's hand. He smiled apologetically and nodded repeatedly, "Yes, yes."

Jiang Nai and Yanyan had not gone far from the inn when they heard a clear young voice coming from behind.

"Hello."

Yanyan turned around and took a look, only to see the thin little beggar following behind them carrying a bag full of cakes.

"You and that girl who pretends to be a good person who gives out porridge and medicine are from the same family, right?"

"Don't think I'll be grateful to you."
