Chapter 71 Retreat and Enlightenment

Shasheng Temple, Bu Kong Mountain.

Lichen, who had been in seclusion for many days, still didn't know what happened at the foot of the mountain.

At this moment, he is in a critical moment of retreat.

Not long ago, he tried to combine the eight treasures of the Muni with the magical powers of the Buddha, but he did not expect that he actually discovered the big secret hidden in it.

The eight treasures of Muni were transformed by the Buddha's mind before his death.

The Thousand-Hand Magical Power is a spiritual protection power passed down to the Asura tribe by Buddha.

Worshiping the Eighteen Worries is the first method for Buddha to preach in the lower world and remain in the world.

The three have a common feature, they are all made by Buddha.

When Li Chen combined the three, he did not expect that there would be a subtle connection between them.

In the past, Li Chen had used the "Thousand-Armed Magical Power" with the "Hundred and Eight Worrying Bows". Each extra pair of arms could be used to perform a troubled bowing move.

With four pairs of arms coming out like this, the power is endless.

Some time ago, Li Chen suddenly had the idea of using the "Thousand-Hand Magical Power" to control the "Hu Lei Qin" among Muni's Eight Treasures.

Unexpectedly, the Thousand Hands Magical Power was not only able to catch the thunder and lightning emitted from the Hulei Qin, but could also directly carry it behind Li Chen and bounce it off the Pipa.

Not only that, the other seven arms can also use the other seven Muni Eight Treasures respectively.

When used by each Buddha, the effect is also very different from when used alone.

In addition to the fact that the thunder harp can bounce off the pipa and hold the thunder and lightning.

When holding the 'Shadowless Blade' and 'Meteor Fire Fork' at the same time with a thousand hands, the two can be directly fused, with fire hidden in the knife and the fork blade invisible.

When holding the 'Celestial Sky Cover' and 'Dinghai Pearl' at the same time, within ten feet of the surrounding area, all spiritual consciousness will not be invaded, and all attacks will be blocked by sea water.

When the "Hundred Eight Worries" is used to drive the 'Sakyamuni' and the 'Liu Li Xin', the two can be merged into a hundred-fold knot, surrounded by crystal light. Anyone covered by the hundred-fold knot will be injured by the naked eye.

Even severed limbs can be reborn.

As for the 'Piaomiao Smoke' at the end, it can only be activated when the 'Hundred Eight Worries' and 'Thousand-Hand Magic Power' are used at the same time.

Once activated, the body shape appears to be there or not, and it is elusive and uncertain.

But when the three are used together, the consumption is huge.

Today's Lichen simply cannot use two of them at the same time for a long time.

I estimate that if you want to truly master the use of the eight treasures, you must at least reach the realm of outdoor scenes.

What really surprised Li Chen was that after he discovered the use of Muni's Eight Treasures, he actually had a new understanding of "Six Strokes of Cancellation".

It only took half a day to comprehend "The Illusion of Cause".

This method corresponds to the "Seal of Freedom" in the Six Paths of Bodhidharma.

Not only the strokes corresponding to the six seals that he had learned, but also the remaining two strokes of the word "Yin", he actually saw the reaction.

In the days that followed, Li Chen entered a cycle of drinking, meditating, and enlightening.

At this time, in the lights of the Shifang Dojo, many great Dao exercises shine like stars.

Li Chen followed the path of wine, and the only fundamental skill he practiced was the "Dionysian Chapter".

All other methods are based on this foundation.

"Dionysian Chapter" was actually derived from "The Transformation of Blood Sutra" by Lichen using the Jieyujing. Later, Lichen was taught by Jiu Zhi.

Incorporate all the methods of "brewing", "considering" and "drinking" in the wine path.

A new Tao was derived, which is the wine Tao practiced by Li Chen now.

Earth-grown wood brews water and fire, and golden bottles and jade liquid make the universe small.

The so-called way of wine is the way of tolerance, the way of nature.

That’s why Li Chen was able to comprehend the two extremely inclusive and wonderful methods of ‘Piaomiao Gangqi’ and ‘Returning to the Hidden Universe’.

Later, I realized "Seven Faults in the Ups and Downs of the Netherworld", which was also based on "Bacchus" and integrated into the Styx inheritance.

Except for "The Dionysian Chapter", the inheritances received by Li Chen are all in the Shifang Dojo.

Among them, there are only four schools at the top, two of which are inherited by Buddha.

One is "Hundred Eight Worries" and the other is "Thousand-Hand Magic Power".

However, "Hundred Eight Worries" is a fragment. After breaking through the inner scene, Li Chen rarely used it.

But now that its connection with the Eight Treasures of Muni has been discovered, it will naturally come in handy in the future.

As for the "Thousand-Hand Magical Power", it goes without saying that it saved Lichen from life and death several times.

The third door does not come from the Buddha's inheritance, but from the "Grand View Sutra" inherited by Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.

This sutra is all-inclusive and miraculous. It was the nemesis of all the weirdness and darkness in the world at that time.

Li Chen's "Maha Wudu Chou" is based on the "Grand View Sutra" and integrated into the Zen Buddhist scriptures.

Once in a killing meeting, he slaughtered people from all directions, attracting congratulations from the emperor and hundreds of people coming to pay their respects.

In addition to these three doors, the fourth door is really beyond Lichen's expectation.

It was actually the "Mud Plow Knife Technique" that he learned in the Vajra Temple.

The origin of this sword technique is extremely mysterious, and there are no relevant records even in the Vajra Temple.

When I was away from the world and enlightened, I once discovered that there seemed to be some resonance between it and the "Grand Avalokitesvara Sutra".

Probably from all directions of hell.

On the second floor below are four of the Six Paths of Bodhidharma.

"Infinite Seal", "Killing Seal", "Infinite Seal", "Freedom Seal".

These four gates themselves are the supreme existence of Zen Buddhism, and they hide the great secret of cause and effect and reincarnation.

Next to this floor, there are the same four doors.

"The Cause Breaks the Way", "The Cause Destroys the Way", "The Cause Bridges the Way", "The Cause Makes the Illusory Way".

These four gates were learned by monk Bu Kong from the Six Paths of Bodhidharma.

The two can inspire each other and each has its own merits.

Patriarch Bodhidharma's "Six Paths of Seal" focuses more on reincarnation.

Patriarch Fu Kong's "Six Strokes of Cancellation" focuses more on cause and effect.

Although there is a sequence between the two, they are not superior or inferior.

In terms of talent and understanding, Patriarch Fu Kong was rated as the first person in the Buddhist sect in thousands of years. He understood the "Six Paths Seal" at a young age and at the same time felt the traces of the rules of the great road.

Later, the secret of "prison escape" was discovered, so he resolutely rebuilt it, turned out to be the Reincarnation Temple, and went to the southern Xinjiang to open up the Killing Life Temple.

This is how I came to understand the "Six Strokes of Cancellation".

But when it comes to the firmness of the Zen mind, no one can compare with the founder of Buddhism, Bodhidharma. He faked death and entered the six paths of reincarnation to realize and practice.

He created the "Six Paths of Seal", which is the highest in Buddhism, and later founded Zen Buddhism, continuing the glory of Buddhism for thousands of years.

In any case, Patriarch Bodhidharma and Patriarch Fu Kong are both amazing and talented Buddhists.

The two inheritances confirm each other, and it may not necessarily reach another peak.

Below this layer, there are all kinds of unique skills.

Such as "Dragon and Elephant Prajna Sutra", "The Secret of Karmic Change of Karma", "Yingluo Yoga", "Untainted Slash", "Inviting the Shadow of the Moon in the Sky", "The Mainstay", "Flowing Water Does Not Corrupt" and so on.

These unique skills are all at the peak of their 'use'.

There is only 'use' without 'method'. Although it is an inheritance, it is not the foundation of the Tao.

After mastering it, you can become invincible at the same level, but it is obviously impossible to break through the rules.

Below these four levels, there are countless wonderful methods, but Li Chen has rarely come into contact with them.

In addition to his own Tao, Li Chen also has a complete inheritance.
