When it comes to repairing porcelain, we have to talk about Song Dynasty.
This term is more rare. Ancient porcelain is precious and expensive in ancient times.
If it is broken, it must be repaired. The most commonly used method is curium.
Curium, also known as "grabbing nail", is strip-shaped, with both ends bent down at 90 degrees, and the elbows are tapering.
On both sides of the broken crack in the porcelain, use a diamond drill to drill holes and insert curium to fix the broken porcelain.
The curiums from the Song Dynasty were more than two centimeters long and two millimeters thick. They were forged and had edges and corners. Most of them were made of iron, but a few were made of copper.
The drill hole is larger, with a diameter of more than two millimeters, but it is difficult to see it now.
This is the technology of sawing porcelain in the Song Dynasty. Later, there was the Ming curium, which was the popular curium in the Ming Dynasty. It was generally about fifteen millimeters long, smaller than the Song curium but larger than the Qing curium.
In modern times, it must have been Qing Curium.
The Qing curium is obviously slimmer than the Ming curium, about one centimeter longer. The edges of the curium body have been eliminated, and the edges have become rounded. The thickness of the curium is also much thinner, and it is mainly stamped by machine.
In the Qing Dynasty, it was still common to see it, but I have never heard of any imitation curium.
A clear curium has no edges, its body is pointed at both ends and wide in the middle. Copper curiums are commonly used for fine porcelain.
There are many top-notch craftsmanships among them. The ones Chen Wenzhe knows about include loach backs.
Chen Wenzhe listened very carefully. As soon as he started talking about it, he started talking about it from the Song Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty. He was really willing to teach me.
Chen Wenzhe really admired this point. Although they definitely wanted something, this kind of knowledge was really what Chen Wenzhe lacked.
He knew how to saw porcelain, but he had never done it, and he had never even seen sawed porcelain works restored by experts.
I haven't seen it before. Even if he has cheating methods, he can't use them.
This is the limitation of his golden finger, he is really knowledgeable.
I've never seen him before, no matter how good he is, it's all in vain.
"Your place in Jingzhen really has an orderly inheritance!" Regarding this, Chen Wenzhe had to sigh.
"Yes, we can only learn this because of our profound knowledge. Boss Chen is different. He is extremely talented!"
"With great talent, you can't develop creatively in porcelain manufacturing. It's still not as important as your inheritance." Chen Wenzhe said seriously.
Mr. Zhou shook his head directly: "There are not many young people like you who like to listen to what we say!"
"Inheritance means passing it on to future generations. We in Jingzhen are about to have no successors!" Speaking of this, Mr. Li also felt a little emotional.
"Don't talk about this, there is no afterlife. The country has seen this situation and is protecting it. We will definitely be intangible cultural heritage in the future!"
Seeing what Lao Zhou said, Lao Li burst into laughter.
After being ridiculous, I felt a little sad again.
Unable to stand this atmosphere, Chen Wenzhe changed the topic directly.
He smiled and said: "Speaking of having a queen, I really thought of something interesting. I wonder if you two know that in the antique industry, having a queen is also a unique term."
Youhou means to have descendants, and the corresponding meaning is Juehou, which means that the descendants will be extinct.
But in the latter case, the tomb would have been destroyed long ago because no one took care of it.
Later, the vandals were still a little afraid and did not dare to show off, so they stayed evasive.
There is later evidence from the symbols on the porcelain unearthed from ancient tombs.
Some used brushes to write on the porcelain surface, and some even wrote clearly the address of the original Yangzhai.
There are later porcelains carved with diamonds, but no one wants them no matter how good they are, so none of them have been passed down to the world, only legends.
Later porcelain has a larger time span, and a group of porcelain can be separated by one or two hundred years.
In some cases, relics of food can be found: eggs turned into empty shells, walnuts without kernels, wine turned into dry powder, etc.
There are later porcelains in the nest, and the history of the rise and fall of the family can be inferred.
"Isn't this funny?" After finishing speaking, Chen Wenzhe was a little surprised to see that the faces of the two old men still looked bad.
"Is it funny? They say there are thousand-year-old families, but how many thousand-year-old families have you seen? Especially in modern times? Take the Pei family, a thousand-year-old family, and their home has become a museum."
Chen Wenzhe knew this family very well.
Not because there are many princes and generals in this family, but because of the Pei family's feng shui, the Pei family's black plaster, and of course the ruined ancestral hall and forest of steles!
The feng shui pattern of nine phoenixes and rising sun in Peijia Village is famous all over the world.
From the Han, Wei, Southern and Northern Dynasties to the Sui, Tang and Five Dynasties, during the two thousand years of history of China, the Pei family has made outstanding contributions in politics, economy, military, diplomacy and other aspects.
There were no fewer than dozens of famous officials active in the political arena during the Sui and Tang dynasties alone.
There are many other talents, including queens, etc.
But what is the current situation of such a big family?
Chen Wenzhe didn't know anything else, but he knew about the forest of steles in his family's ancestral hall.
After going to Chang'an, Chen Wenzhe became interested in some stone steles in China, so he learned about some of them.
Pei's ancestral hall, also known as Jin Gong's ancestral hall, was built in the third year of Zhenguan in the Tang Dynasty (629). It has a front hall, a back hall, Zhuangyuan Square, stele corridor, etc. It is large in scale, but it has been repeatedly destroyed by war and repairs.
Pei's Stele Gallery is almost a museum of fine Chinese calligraphy and engraving.
It was rebuilt in the 1970s and dozens of ancient steles have been preserved, which are of high value in terms of historical materials and calligraphy art.
Among them, the "Pei Hong Stele" is a combination of Wei and Li, with stable calligraphy. It was engraved in the third year of Yamato (568), the reign of Emperor Wu of the Northern Zhou Dynasty. It is the earliest extant inscription of the Pei family.
"Pei Jingmin Stele" was written by Li Baiyao, a historian in the early Tang Dynasty, and written by Yin Lingming, a calligrapher, in regular script, which is close to the style of Yan, but also contains the willow style, dignified and dignified, with straight and straight writing.
"Pei Guangting Shinto Stele" was written by Zhang Jiuling and written by Li Longji, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty. The writing is bold and bold, and the fonts are beautiful.
"Ping Huaixi Stele" was written by Han Yu, a famous writer in the Tang Dynasty, and was rewritten by Qi Junzao, the military minister during the Xianfeng period of the Qing Dynasty.
This stele records the achievements of Pei Du, a famous prime minister in the Tang Dynasty, and the suppression of Wu Yuanji's rebellion in the west of Huaihe River. It is engraved on four stones, standing side by side. It is majestic and has excellent writing, calligraphy and engraving. It is called the "Three Unique Steles".
In addition, there are 17 prefaces to the Pei family genealogy engraved from Jin Dading to the Qing Dynasty, which are the essence of the clan's relics.
These inscriptions are precious information for studying the history of the Pei family and the art of calligraphy.
Chen Wenzhe was really a little regretful that he didn't have time to go over and take a look.
Not to mention anything else, just going there to look at the stone monuments left there must have been a huge gain.
Of course, what he was most interested in before was Pei's tomb.
Pei's tomb is located in the beautiful Fenghuang Yuan, five kilometers east of Peibai Village.
Back then, there were numerous tombs and steles. Although most of them are now flattened and destroyed, you can still see their general appearance, and some cemeteries still have stone steles.
The tomb there should be left over from the country now, and the only remaining one can still be seen to be a large tomb in the pattern of nine phoenixes and rising sun.
Of course, Chen Wenzhe is now interested in ancient tombs, not because he wants to dig them up and obtain the burial objects inside, but because he is really interested in them.
