Chapter 1054: Painting a tiger cannot be an anti-dog

From ancient times to the present, high imitation has been everywhere. Officials imitated official officials, current dynasties imitated previous dynasties, and bronzes of Xia, Shang and Zhou were imitated. Which dynasty and emperor did not have anyone imitate them?

It is not illegal to imitate high imitations and antiques, but it is illegal to deceive talents!

"I can do it, but I still need the boss to do it!" Zhang Gu said immediately.

Chen Wenzhe looked at him with a smile, "Why do you make it old? Isn't it bad to make money like this?"

Zhang Gu also looked at Chen Wenzhe and said, "We are all the same, so we don't need to make a watch, we have to erect an archway!"

Chen Wenzhe started silently, but he didn't say some words.

Although he has made a lot of antique porcelain and made it distressed, it is really not necessary for pastel zhadao porcelain.

Although Zhang Gu was born in Jingzhen, his knowledge is still a bit short-sighted due to his age.

There's nothing we can do about it. After all, he went to school at a young age, so he doesn't seem to know much about things in Jingzhen.

On the contrary, Chen Wenzhe knew better. He knew very clearly that as long as the pastel zhaodao porcelain was made well, there was no need to make it at all. Is this what modern official kilns are talking about?

As a national gift, a gift that can be given to leaders of various countries, is it worthless even if it is not old?

Needless to say these words, besides, Chen Wenzhe really has a lot of research on antique porcelain.

First make a batch of antique porcelain, get familiar with this craft, and then start creating.

First imitate, learn techniques, styles, and craftsmanship. Once you are proficient, then innovate!

Taking a look at the Ru porcelain embryos he made, they all need to be dried. The next process cannot be carried out now, and he cannot be idle during this period. Besides, even if he wants to make pastel zhadao porcelain, he will not be able to do it all at once.

It can be done.

If you just talk about the process of making pastel zhaodao porcelain, it is more troublesome than imitating Ru kiln wares.

Now is the time when Ru kiln porcelain enters the next process, which is to make pastel zhaodao porcelain.

After completing part of the process of paving the pastel porcelain and drying it, you can then make the Ru kiln porcelain, so that nothing is delayed.

"I've made a lot of small bowls before, boss, can you try it first?"

Seeing Chen Wenzhe's interest, Zhang Gu immediately brought over a small bowl.

This is a pottery he made before. It has been almost dried and can now be glazed.

Being able to make porcelain with Chen Wenzhe, what he learned was definitely not something he could compare to by trying on his own, so he naturally had to be serious.

Before Chen Wenzhe could think of anything to do, Zhang Gu had already prepared a small bowl for him.

It turns out that Chen Wenzhe has made a lot of bowls. It can be said that he has made bowls of various types and dynasties.

Now faced with an ordinary small bowl, if you want to make it extraordinary, you need to use snacks, and the minimum skill will not make it ordinary.

It must be made of pastels, plus the tying process, so it cannot be an ordinary small bowl.

Chen Wenzhe plans to make a rolled pastel consecration bowl. As the name suggests, this is a kind of porcelain that combines pastel and rolled porcelain.

This small bowl made by Zhang Gu has a mouth diameter of 14.6 cm, a height of 6.5 cm, a foot diameter of 5.6 cm, and a foot height of 0.6 cm.

The mouth of the bowl is slightly open, with oblique rounded shoulders and a moderately sized base. The base is slanted outward, straight inward, and slightly sunken in the center.

"Boss, there is no need to apply glaze on the soles of the feet. I made the texture of the feet very fine and very tight!" After finishing the process, Zhang Gu looked at Chen Wenzhe and said.

Chen Wenzhe thought, is this a small bowl imitating Jiaqing?

Chen Wenzhe knew that the small bowls of zhadao pastel consecrated during the Jiaqing period had no glaze on the soles, and the texture of the bowls could be seen to be fine, white and compact.

After thinking for a moment, Chen Wenzhe started to lay a layer of ground first. This was not difficult.

Pastels are colorful, but this time Chen Wenzhe did not use bright red and green, but the simplest blue and white.

The green materials of this period used domestic Zhejiang materials to draw patterns.

The color of the early Jiaqing blue and white is stable, thick and bright, with few blurs. There are also light blue and slurry blue and white, which account for a small number.

In the late Jiaqing period, the blue and white began to appear dark, light blue and floating.

In addition to the traditional white ground blue and white, there were also some blue and white derived varieties during the Jiaqing period.

For example: blue and white with red color and gold, blue and white with gold, blue and white with alum red, blue and white with rouge purple, blue and white underglaze red, yellow ground blue and white, etc. Compared with the Qianlong Dynasty, there are much fewer varieties, but these crafts and recipes can be learned as long as you learn any

Either one can make people live a very nourishing life.

As he gained more and more knowledge, Chen Wenzhe received more and more inheritance.

Therefore, Chen Wenzhe can easily make some techniques and recipes from the Jiaqing period.

Since he is going to do it now, he must do his best, so this time Chen Wenzhe imitated the small bowl from the Qianjia period.

That is to say, the late Qianlong period and the early Jiaqing period. The Jiaqing porcelain of this period still has some afterglow of the Qianlong period, and is naturally much more refined.

During the period from Jiaqing to Guangxu, which belongs to the middle and late Qing Dynasty, with the decline of economy and culture, social turmoil began to occur, internal and external troubles continued, Jingzhen porcelain production was also affected, and the level of porcelain production showed an obvious downward trend.

As recorded in the book "Tao Ya": "As soon as the emperor came down, the painting skills and color materials became worse and worse."

Of course, judging from the blue and white porcelain of the middle and late Qing Dynasty collected by the Qing Palace, there are also many varieties of porcelain in the Jiaqing period.

Although the production level cannot be compared with the three blue and white porcelains of Kang, Yong and Qian Dynasties, as porcelain used in palace life and furnishings, its production is also very strict, and there are some exquisite works among them.

The small bowl now imitated by Chen Wenzhe is definitely one of the best.

Because if the bowl is not a high-quality product, it will not be famous, and naturally it will not be noticed by Chen Wenzhe.

After laying the ground, Chen Wenzhe carefully traced the inner wall of the bowl.

He didn't want to make it too complicated. This time he painted white-glazed blue and white, with a blue line painted on the inside of the mouth of the bowl, four symmetrical palace lanterns on the inner wall, and a ball of flowers on the bottom of the heart.

Chen Wenzhe's meticulous and meticulous brushwork is smooth and natural.

The drawn pattern is neat and symmetrical.

Just painting, not firing, allows these glaze colors to reach their most beautiful level. This alone allows you to see the grace and elegance of this small bowl.

Finally, Chen Wenzhe applied white glaze on the inside of the bottom of the bowl and painted a blue and white frameless sapphire blue six-character three-line seal script inscription "Made in the Jiaqing Year of the Qing Dynasty".

After the writing was completed, Zhang Gu took a look and saw that the seal script was neat and clear, no less impressive than the professionals from Jingzhen.

"Is it imitated from Jiaqing?" Zhang Gu said with a smile.

"Haha, isn't the utensil embryo you made the same type as the Jiaqing official kiln?"

Chen Wenzhe didn't look at him, but continued to repair the porcelain.

Now this porcelain is at best pastel porcelain. If you want to turn it into Zadao porcelain, you still need to use this process.

At this time, the embryo is half dry, so you can cook it directly, but you need to be very careful.

You must know that all rolled pastel bowls are typically made in official kilns. As utensils used in the palace, care must be taken when making them.

Because the Jiaqing period, especially the early period, still maintained some of the prosperity and wealth of the Qianlong period.

If you are too casual, you may end up painting a tiger instead of a dog if you are not careful!
