Chapter 1,357 Dragon Pattern Jade

Except for Chen Wenzhe who can identify the things found in the sunken ship, no one knows whether a seemingly ordinary thing is actually something of great value.

Now to identify it, we need to clear out all possible treasures.

Afterwards, when Chen Wenzhe had time, he slowly identified each item one by one.

In matters such as archeology and appraisal, no one knows whether a precious cultural relic will suddenly appear. Of course, it may also be the top national treasure.

"Huh? There is actually another one with an inscription?"

Checking the bronze mirrors one by one, Chen Wenzhe didn't have much hope at first, but Chen Wenzhe made an unexpected discovery.

It was a seemingly ordinary bronze mirror without any decorative appearance, but it actually had a large number of inscriptions on it.

After cleaning it up, I could roughly read the handwriting. At this time, Chen Wenzhe's expression became a little exciting.

This is not a bronze mirror at all, or simply a copper plate.

This copper plate should have been specially made to record something.

The inscription on it is also very interesting, it turns out to be the Jiang Xin Mirror recorded there.

It seems that this copper plate is the same as the Jiangxin mirror.

After looking at the inscription carefully, Chen Wenzhe could easily identify it, perhaps because the fonts in the Tang Dynasty were similar to those today.

The general inscription is: The Lu family of Yang Mansion first came from Lu Gongwang and was granted the title of Qi for 800 years.

It declined and prospered with the Zhou Dynasty, and was later usurped by the powerful minister Tian'er.

The descendants of the family came to Yanyan in Huaiyang.

The king is high-spirited and has great ambitions. He is a man of rare knowledge. His mind is like a bright mirror and he says: How can he find his essence?

Chang Yun: The mirror of the King of Qin shines upon the heart (connected to the center circle). This beast has a spirit and is not the property of a good man.

Every time I see an excellent ancient mirror, I make it now, but I can't bear to stop it for many years. If it stops for a hundred or two hundred years, the hair will not be hidden.

Du Yuanzhi, the governor of Jinzhou, was a person who was good at appreciating rare things. I have made this mirror for him, as a reflection of my son's lifelong thoughts.

It was cast on May 5, the 10th year of Kaiyuan, and was written by Lu Shenxian of Dongping County.

The meaning of the inscription is very simple and it is confirmed that this Jiangxin Dragon Mirror is genuine.

Because this mirror was cast, a copper plate was also cast and an inscription was carved to record it.

This set of two bronze vessels perfectly explains the existence of Jiangxin Mirror.

And judging from its value, it is definitely more precious than those Jiangxin mirrors sold abroad.

Calculating it this way, among Chen Wenzhe's discoveries this time, this set of Jiangxin Dragon Mirrors is the most precious.

At this time, Chen Wenzhe can be said to love and hate the country of Yinni.

Especially some of the sea areas around this country can be considered a lucky place for him, because these places really contain many treasures.

Not to mention the several sunken ships that Chen Wenzhe salvaged this time, he knew that there were quite a few sunken ships that were found here.

For example, the Jiangxin Mirror from Lijiapo came from the sunken Black Stone in the Yinni Sea.

In 1988, a German salvage company carried out salvage operations in the Indonesian ocean area.

He unexpectedly discovered a sunken ship near a large black reef.

Through the analysis of the remaining items, it was determined that the dynasty of the sunken ship belonged to the Tang Dynasty, and it was named "Black Stone".

After a long period of salvage, the staff discovered that the "Black Stone" was a cargo ship.

It carries Chinese cultural relics transported to West Asia and North Africa via Southeast Asia.

This was definitely a big surprise for those people at the time.

According to statistics, many cultural relics were found during that salvage operation.

Mainly: porcelain, gold and silverware, coins and bronze mirrors.

Among the 29 bronze mirrors salvaged, a unique bronze mirror attracted everyone's attention.

After the bronze mirror comes out of the water, you can clearly see that the bronze mirror is round in shape, and the periphery of the button base is decorated with four spirit beasts.

They are Qinglong, White Tiger, Suzaku and Xuanwu.

There are 24 characters engraved in regular script on the outer periphery, which read: "It was created in Yangzhou on November 29, 1898, the first year of Emperor Qianyuan of the Tang Dynasty, and was created by hundreds of refinements in the heart of the Yangtze River."

According to the written records on the back of the mirror, experts determined that this bronze mirror is the "Jiangxin Mirror".

It was also through him that it was confirmed that during the Tang Dynasty, Yangshi was the largest bronze mirror production base.

The tribute mirror specially used by the royal family was made here, and the "Jiangxin Mirror" is the tribute mirror.

The reason why he was mentioned again must be because Chen Wenzhe was moved again.

Although he is speeding up his return to China due to time constraints.

However, they will still come back, because the seabed here is really a treasure house of sunken ships.

"Boss, all the jades you want have been sorted out. Do you need to bring them all over to see?"

Just when Chen Wenzhe once again recalled some scenes from ancient times through the bronze mirrors he discovered, he was alerted by Gao Qijing.

"Bring them all over here and let me examine them carefully. Maybe there are some missing treasures?"

Chen Wenzhe is now certain that the sea route to Yinni is really a busy maritime trade route.

From ancient times to the present, this route has never stopped.

In this way, it is hard to say how many merchant ships have sunk here.

As for the fifty ships or something that historians previously inferred, just listen to it.

He was almost sure about this route.

Even if he doesn't come back in the future, Gao Qijing and the others will definitely search carefully along this ancient route based on the chart he drew.

"Huh? So many jades?"

Looking at the pieces of jade carefully placed on the workbench, Chen Wenzhe didn't know what to say.

These jade articles were obviously beyond his knowledge, because the first thing he saw was a jade cup from the Ming Dynasty, and it had a dragon pattern.

This kind of jade looks like a royal item at first glance.

So how did this level of jade come into the folk world back then?

It actually fell into the hands of foreign businessmen and was taken out to sea?

I picked it up casually and examined it carefully. It was indeed a piece of jade with a dragon pattern, and it was a rare plum blossom cup with a chi pattern.

Judging from the shape, it should be from the Ming Dynasty.

It is 12 cm long, 7.2 cm wide and 5 cm high.

Made of Hetian white jade, you can see that the jade is very dense by just looking at it a little.

Even this jade cup has not been damaged due to immersion in sea water, but it always looks smooth and oily.

This cup is very beautiful, especially with the huge plum blossom on top and the incised pattern of flowers and leaves on the inside of the cup.

An old plum blossom, its branches are strong and winding, and three or two plum blossoms and flower buds are dotted on the old trunk, which is sparse and bright.

On one side is a chilong, with powerful limbs and a long curled tail, which is very dynamic.

Taking a closer look again, Chen Wenzhe found that there was a slight qin in the area.

This shows that this thing must have been buried in the ground, and it is probably something unearthed.

This is a fine jade carving from the Ming Dynasty and is of great collection value.

And before going to sea, he had been buried in the earth.

In this case, the origin of this thing is definitely not serious.

So, either it was obtained by robbing a tomb, or it was stolen.

You must know that at the end of the Ming Dynasty, many descendants of the Zhu family were robbed.

Sure enough, there were actually many dragon-patterned wares at the back, and even a jade chi.
