Chapter 1,426 The First Jade Artifact of the Nation

Dushan is located in the northwest of Nanyang in Nanhe River and is a traditional jade producing area in my country.

Dushan jade, together with Hotan jade from Xinjiang Province, Xiu jade from Liao Province, and turquoise from Beihu Province, are known as the "Four Famous Jade in China".

According to legend, the "Dushan Jade Sea" was built by Kublai Khan, the founder of the Yuan Dynasty, in the second year of the Yuan Dynasty (1265) to reward the three armies.

It is carved from a huge piece of jade with black texture and white markings, and the rough sea is carved around it.

Among the waves, there are dragons, pigs, horses, deer, rhinoceros, snails and other magical animals playing among them.

The overall shape is slightly oval, and the inside is hollowed out. It can store more than 30 stones of wine, which is approximately equivalent to 3,600 bottles of liquor per kilogram.

After the fall of the Yuan Dynasty, most of the palaces in Dadu of the Yuan Dynasty were demolished, but the Guanghan Hall where Dayuhai was placed was fortunately preserved.

On the day before the Dragon Boat Festival in the seventh year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1579), the Guanghan Palace caught fire and then collapsed. The "Dushan Jade Sea" was urgently transferred to the imperial prison.

The imperial prison was a place specialized in making palace utensils. In the Qing Dynasty, it was changed to a Taoist temple and was named Zhenwu Temple.

The Taoist priests did not know its origin and used it as a pickle vat for more than 100 years.

It was not until the 50th year of Kangxi's reign (AD 1711) that the Zhenwu Temple was rebuilt, and the Taoist priests discovered that the stone bowl was actually made of jade.

So they took out the vegetables, washed them, stored water in them, put rocks in them, and placed them in front of Guanyin to express the meaning of Putuo in the South China Sea.

During the Qianlong period, scholars from the Hanlin Academy who were granted residence in this area came to visit the temple. When they saw this extraordinary jade bowl, they thought it was definitely not a folk artifact.

They searched for information and conducted repeated research, and were surprised to find that this was the Great Jade Sea in front of the Guanghan Palace of the Yuan Dynasty that had been lost for hundreds of years.

So he reported it to Emperor Qianlong. Qianlong, who was well versed in historical relics, was overjoyed and ordered the Ministry of Internal Affairs to allocate 100,000 taels of silver to buy back the jade bowl in the tenth year of Qianlong's reign (1745).

But he did not move the base back at the same time. Instead, he carved a white marble base and replaced it with a jade bowl, and placed it together in front of the Chengguang Hall in Tuancheng, Beihai.

"Dushan Jade Sea" is the earliest existing large-scale jade article, and among the hundreds of thousands of jade articles handed down in my country to this day, it is the only identifiable jade article from the Mongolian and Yuan Dynasties.

It was not until 1271 AD that Kublai Khan named the country Yuan, and the following decades were the time for this large jade article to be made.

It can be said that the production time of this large jade sea is already very accurate!

Therefore, since the Yuan Dynasty, this large jade sea has been circulated in an orderly manner in history.

There are historical records from the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, and it is well deserved to be "the first jade in the country"!

It can be said that this huge jade is full of legend.

In addition to the Xijia Pan and the Great Jade Sea, there is another national treasure, the Nurha Red Cloud Plate, which is used as a bell.

The Nurha hematite cloud plate was cast during the Tianming period of the Later Jin Dynasty and has a history of more than 380 years.

As a tool for Eight Banners officers and soldiers to guard the border and call the police, as well as a device for transmitting information in Houjin's court, Yunban played an important role in maintaining the stability of his regime.

The entire Nurha Red Cloud Board is cast from pig iron at once, with a total height of 55.5 cm, a thickness of 1.2 cm, and a weight of 12.5 kg.

Both the upper and lower parts are in the shape of clouds, and the body of the plate is in the shape of a long strip.

There is a round hole in the upper part of the cloud plate, which is used for tying lanyards. There are fewer cast patterns on one side, and only a small amount of flower patterns are cast in the lower part of the cloud head;

On the other side, the upper and lower cloud surfaces are cast with a curly grass pattern, and a raised flower is cast in each cloud head. The lower center of both sides is a circular percussion bulge, decorated with petal patterns around it.

There are Chinese characters cast on one side of the middle part of the board. On the right side is the double hook "Da Jin Tian Ming Gui" in regular script, and on the left side is the "Hainian Zhu Niuzhuang" in Yang script in regular script.

Under the two lines of characters, there is the character "city" in Yangwen in regular script.

All cloud boards during the Nurhaci period were made of pig iron.

This kind of cloud board is very easy to rust and is particularly difficult to preserve.

Therefore, the cloud boards from the Nurhachi period are very valuable.

Unexpectedly, the cloud board that experts have been searching for for many years was finally found in a primary school.

What's even more ridiculous is that the local people don't know the origin and value of this cloud board, so they just ring it as a school bell.

It can be said that the Nurhachi Yunban has gone through many hardships and experienced vicissitudes of life. It is now collected in the Shencheng Palace Museum.

Because of its important historical and scientific value, it has been designated as a national first-class cultural relic.

As they talked, everyone walked forward and soon passed through the hall and arrived at the exhibition hall behind the screen wall of the hall.

"This is the Bronze Museum? Is it really spectacular? They are all national treasures!"

Looking at the two green dragons blocking the door, Chen Wenzhe laughed.

Li Jinli also laughed: "This is my idea, how about it? Behind these two dragons is the bronze three-legged frog drum you first bought from Shendu, the other four sheep square statues, the stepmother Wu tripod, the prince Wu tripod, and the big and small bowls

Ding, Mao Gong Ding, all of them."

"Is it really a national treasure exhibition hall?" Chen Wenzhe said in surprise.

Li Jinli chuckled and said: "Why can't it be a national treasure exhibition hall? What are the imitations of the national treasures sold in the market outside? What is their level? What is the level of our works?"

"Wenzhe, Senior Brother Li has tried his best. The imitations in this exhibition hall are all perfect one-to-one imitations, and they cost a lot of money!" Zhang Yijie said.

Cao Qingchun also said: "The most important thing is that in other museums, even the imitations are protected by glass covers and can only be viewed from a distance. It is different here, you can touch them."

Although Chen Wenzhe didn't see the national treasure in the hall, he knew from the bronze bull outside and the bronze plate in the hall that the imitation national treasure inside the exhibition hall should also be very good.

Well, the main thing is that the two huge bronze dragons at the door are really too majestic.

"Yes, these two dragons are very good. Are they imitations of the largest bronze dragons in China?"

With just a brief glance, Chen Wenzhe could tell the origin of this work.

"Yes, it's a pity that it can only be a fiction, because this important domestic treasure is incomplete and only eight fragments are left!" Li Jinli said with a pity look on his face.

Chen Wenzhe also knew that because the bronze vessel was transported separately, only the remains were intercepted in the country.

This is a rare bronze dragon excavated by farmers. Experts regard it as the treasure of the museum. It is suspected to be the musical instrument of Qin Shihuang.

The story begins in 1993, when the Chang'an Public Security Department accidentally discovered seven or eight pieces of "scrap metal" scattered in the car.

No one noticed it at first, but later by integrating the pile of scrap metal, the public security officers discovered that they should be two antiques.

To be more precise, at that time, the traffic department should have seized a stolen car suspected of committing a crime.

During the inspection, they accidentally discovered a bunch of tightly wrapped things in the trunk of the vehicle!

After opening it, the result was surprising!
