Chapter 1,431 A rare treasure

There are many bronzes found in Sanxingdui ruins, with all kinds of strange shapes.

Some people may ask, why is this Sanxingdui so important?

Sanxingdui cultural relics are precious human cultural heritage. Among the vast and spectacular cultural relic groups in our country, they are one of the most valuable in historical, scientific, cultural and artistic value and the most ornamental.

Among these ancient Shu secret treasures, there are many bizarre and weird bronze shapes.

There is a 2.62-meter-tall bronze standing figure, a 1.38-meter-wide bronze mask, and a 3.95-meter-tall bronze sacred tree.

These bronzes are all unique and unparalleled in the world.

The gold wares represented by the gleaming gold staff and the jade wares represented by the edge seals fully decorated with patterns are also rare treasures that have never been seen before.

In fact, many people's first "acquaintance" with Sanxingdui was through the cultural relics unearthed during the excavation of "Sacrificial Relics" in Pit No. 3 to No. 8.

For example, the hotly searched gold masks, a large number of bronze and ivory products.

The diversity, richness and creativity of these important archaeological discoveries in Sanxingdui fully demonstrate the splendor and splendor of the ancient Shu civilization.

In addition to these cultural relics that have met us across history, the main players in the Sanxingdui archaeological team also deserve our attention.

The Sanxingdui Museum’s official Weibo account once posted on Weibo: “Being able to endure hardship, being highly educated, and being single...has become a common symbol of young people in the archaeological team.”

It is understood that the post-90s generation accounts for about half of the archaeological personnel in Sanxingdui and has become an indispensable force on the front line of Sanxingdui archaeology.

Through the unearthed "Internet celebrity" cultural relics and the archaeologists who silently stick to the front lines of Sanxingdui, our understanding of Sanxingdui continues to deepen.

Currently, the archaeological excavation work at the Sanxingdui site is in full swing, and stunning cultural relics are being unearthed.

So if you have the opportunity, you must get to know Sanxingdui and pay attention to Sanxingdui.

This is not only about the Sanxingdui Civilization, but also about the Bronze Civilization Age of the Yangtze River Basin represented by Sanxingdui.

These relatively independent regional civilizations echoed the merchant civilization of the Central Plains and jointly proved the diversity of ancient Chinese civilization.

The archaeological excavations in Sanxingdui, pit after pit, layer by layer, show the relationship between people, people and things, and people and cities thousands of years ago.

Let us trace civilization and history at a closer distance.

So, what surprises are hidden in this "express delivery" from thousands of years ago?

There are many surprises, such as the turtle-shaped grid.

This treasure was affectionately called the "Moonlight Treasure Box" by Li Haichao, a professor at Sichuan University who was responsible for the excavation of "Sacrificial Pit" No. 7.

There was no such thing in my past knowledge, so I immediately felt that this was an unprecedented discovery.

There is also the bronze altar, which has an exquisite appearance.

Not only are there people on it, but there are also mythical beasts.

This reflects a sacrificial scene and the "fairy world" imagined by the ancient Shu people.

The altar is composed of three parts from low to high. The bottom part is a pedestal with hollow patterns. There is a person sitting in the center of each side of the pedestal.

There is a group of people who are relatively tall and have very obvious muscles.

There are many bronze vessels that reflect sacrificial scenes like this, such as the top bronze statue of a snake body.

Its hands are supported on a bronze lei with a square seat, and there is a cinnabar-painted goblet on its head.

For example, the copper pig-nosed dragon-shaped vessel has a dragon head, a pig's nose, eyes on the nose, scales on the head, and square teeth.

Of course, the most famous among them should be the various standing bronze statues, such as the bronze standing statues "wrapped in skirts, waistcoats, shoulders, and big backs".

It is the second complete large-scale standing human figure discovered in Sanxingdui.

In addition to human figures, there are also giant bronze mythical beasts.

For example, looking at the extremely sci-fi, giant copper beast that looks like a "robot dog".

The one we are most familiar with is the bronze dragon, which shows that our culture is passed down from generation to generation.

This is the hot topic at the beginning of the Year of the Tiger: "The bronze dragon with a tiger head and a tiger brain".

In addition, there are several major results from this excavation.

First, 6 sacrificial pits were unearthed with recent numbered cultural relics.

Secondly, during the past year and a half of excavation work, a total of 3,155 relatively complete cultural relics were unearthed from six pits.

Among them, 1,293 cultural relics were unearthed in Pit 3, including 764 bronze items, 104 gold items, 207 jade items, 88 stone items, 11 pottery items, 104 ivory items, and 15 others;

79 cultural relics were unearthed from Pit No. 4, including 21 bronzes, 9 jades, 2 pottery, and 47 ivories; 23 artifacts were unearthed from Pit 5, including 2 bronzes, 19 golds, and 2 jades;

In addition to a large wooden box, only two jade objects were unearthed in Pit No. 6, one of which was a unique jade knife;

706 cultural relics were unearthed from Pit No. 7, including 383 bronze items, 52 gold items, 140 jade items, 1 stone item, 62 ivory items, and 68 others;

So far, 1,052 cultural relics have been unearthed from Pit No. 8, including 68 bronze artifacts, 368 gold artifacts, 205 jade artifacts, 34 stone artifacts, and 377 ivory artifacts.

At this time, Chen Wenzhe only saw some bronze wares, or even a very small part of them, and could only continue to admire the richness and variety of ancient Shu civilization.

Now Chen Wenzhe is also moved. His current museum is just a hodgepodge.

If a layman comes here, he will look very strange and amazed.

But if an expert comes here, he will know that the bronzes here are arranged in no order and in a mess.

There are only a few thousand bronzes unearthed from the entire Sanxingdui site, and the total number of cultural relics totaling tens of thousands.

Except for those cultural relics that are unsightly, severely damaged, and of little value, there are still many cultural relics with names left.

Now there are only bronzes in his museum, but what about gold, jade, stone and pottery?

Chen Wenzhe can imitate these. After all, he has not only seen the skills of restoring antique cultural relics before.

Seeing these imitations, what you should actually learn more is imitation technology.

If he had time and conditions, he would even consider replicating all the ivory products unearthed in Sanxingdui.

So many treasures are all from Shu, which is definitely beyond the expectation of many people.

You are forty-eight thousand years old, and you are not in the vicinity of Qin Sai.

Such a remote Shu land could have given birth to such a developed civilization. This should be beyond the imagination of many modern people!

But this is the fact. Faced with such a hot situation in Sanxingdui, I wonder what the artist who has missed the hot search more than 20 times will feel.

Sanxingdui has something to say: It's a pity that I have been buried in the loess for thousands of years. I also want to keep a low profile, but my strength does not allow it.

For example, more than 100 ivory tusks were unearthed from the Sanxingdui site. It can be said that Sanxingdui has been very popular recently.

Since the excavation of Sanxingdui, it has brought many surprises to people.

In the six newly discovered sacrificial pits recently, more than 500 precious cultural relics were unearthed, and more than 100 ivory tusks were reappeared in the world.

After hearing the news, the elephants once cried and fainted in the toilet.
