After the Sanxingdui Culture was formed, it expanded to the east with the Sichuandu Plain as its core.
In the Jianghan Plain, they met the early Shang cultural forces that expanded here. After accepting the influence of early Shang culture and other foreign cultures, they reached the heyday of their bronze culture in the late Shang period.
There are many places worth studying here. For Chen Wenzhe, he can use some real pictures to infer the scope of activities of the ancients at that time, and even directly find sites like Sanxingdui.
In this way, the harvest will be huge.
Of course, all this needs to wait until his museum develops and expands.
When the time comes, since he has participated in archaeology and made major contributions, can he also distribute some antiques and put them in his museum for preservation, restoration, and display?
And it is actually not difficult to do all this.
After all, the transformation of the country has begun. Private museums that no one could build in the past are now everywhere.
Holding a piece of Shu Ge in his hand, not to mention other things, Chen Wenzhe could get a lot of useful information just by studying the two pieces of Shu Ge found outside Sanxingdui.
Shu Ge first originated in Shu, around the early Shang Dynasty.
In the middle and late Shang Dynasty, where the northern edge of the ancient Shu civilization overlapped with the influence of the Shang culture - Hanzhong in southern Shaanxi, Shu Ge also appeared.
In the late Shang Dynasty, this kind of Shu Ge went all the way north and appeared in the Yin Ruins.
During this period, a willow leaf-shaped bronze sword also appeared, which first appeared at the Twelve Bridges site in Sichuan and the Sanxingdui site in Guanghan.
Then at the end of the Shang Dynasty and the beginning of the Zhou Dynasty, swords of this shape began to appear in southern Shaanxi and Su provinces.
This is the embodiment of the interaction between Sanxingdui Civilization and Central Plains Civilization.
In fact, many of us know this kind of interaction, such as a very famous battle in history.
Chen Wenzhe was not surprised at all to be able to see ancient battle scenes, because he was looking at the history of a weapon.
However, when he first saw this battle, Chen Wenzhe didn't pay much attention to it.
However, after reading it, he suddenly realized that this battle seemed to be very difficult.
However, this was just a small battle, hardly related to the big battle in his memory!
Now Chen Wenzhe is very doubtful whether the battle he saw was really a "small-scale" battle during King Wu's defeat of Zhou?
Some people originally doubted whether the Sanxingdui civilization participated in the war. Now there is no need to doubt it. It must have participated in the war, but it was not the battle we imagined.
One day more than 3,000 years ago, which coincided with Jiazi Day, a battle broke out near today's Nanhe Qi County.
There was no cunning plot in this battle, and it lasted less than a day.
The world doesn't know how many troops there are on both sides.
I don’t know what formations were used in the battle.
We don’t even know the specific process and circumstances of the battle, but this does not prevent this battle from becoming one of the most important and famous battles in ancient Chinese history.
These confusing mysteries have also attracted people from ancient times to the present to understand, think, and study this battle.
This is the Battle of Makino, a "small-scale" battle that determines the direction of our country's history.
This battle has left clues in various classics and historical materials, and even caused more questions and controversy.
Just like now, although Chen Wenzhe has seen the entire war process, he still feels full of doubts.
To say that the Battle of Makino was a "small-scale" battle is to compare it with the scale of later wars;
But if we go back to the Shang and Zhou dynasties, it would be inconsistent with the reality at that time.
There is no clear record in reliable historical materials as to how many troops the Shang Dynasty dispatched.
The so-called theory of 700,000 prisoners is probably due to the exaggeration and attachment of later generations.
At that time, the main force of the Shang Dynasty's army was in the east. There should not be many troops that could go to Muye to resist the Zhou attack.
The army led by King Wu of Zhou to conquer Yin was a genuine international coalition.
In addition to the armies of the Jizhou tribe, there were also the armies of the Jiang surnamed tribe, which had been married to the Jizhou tribe for a long time, as well as the armies of the surrounding small countries that had previously submitted to Zhou.
However, some historical data indicate that the Battle of Makino may not have been as simple as the Western Shaanxi soldiers defeating the Nanhe soldiers. The "Sichuan Army" seemed to have appeared in this battle.
"Shang Shu·Mu Shi" records that King Wu of Zhou listed the nations that conquered the Yin and Shang Dynasties with him.
Among them are "Yong, Shu, Qiang, Kuai, Wei, Lu, Peng, and Pu people", and the second one is "Shu".
The "Shu" we are familiar with is today's Sichuan.
During the Eastern Jin Dynasty, "Huayang Guozhi" written by Chang Cu also recorded: "King Wu of Zhou conquered the feudal state and actually gained the master of Bashu. He even wrote "Shangshu"."
The "Book of Documents" that Chang Quan refers to should refer to the chapter "Oath of Shepherd".
If you talk about Sichuan Province three thousand years ago, people's first reaction is the famous Sanxingdui Civilization.
The "Sichuan Army" at that time was naturally the army of Sanxingdui Civilization.
The extremely famous King Wu of Zhou in history, and the extremely famous Sanxingdui Civilization in archeology, could have had such a close connection during the Battle of Muye. It has to be said that it makes people daydream.
However, reverie cannot replace history.
If we examine it carefully, we will find many unreasonable things.
First, the time when King Wu defeated Zhou.
In the "Xia, Shang and Zhou Dynasty Project", this time is set at 1046 BC.
Although this date is not unanimously agreed by all scholars, it should be very close to the historical reality, with a gap of only one or two years at most.
The Sanxingdui civilization had already declined at the end of the Shang Dynasty, and had basically disappeared by the time King Wu conquered Zhou. It is difficult for the two to be related in time.
Secondly, until the Spring and Autumn Period, there was no record of Shu in many historical materials.
There are only sporadic records about Ba, but this "Ba" is also far away from Sichuan and Chongqing, and should be in the western part of today's Beihu Province.
After hundreds of years of development and expansion of the feudal system, by the Spring and Autumn Period, the Chinese cultural circle basically had no contact with Shu.
During the Shang and Zhou Dynasties, how could the Zhou clan, which was far from its peak, have formed an alliance with the civilization of Shu?
Third, the inclusion of Shu into the Chinese cultural circle happened after Qin general Sima mistakenly entered Shu in the late Warring States period.
Before this, although there were various indirect connections between Shu and the Central Plains, they lacked the basic conditions for direct communication.
The early Shu culture was basically a civilization that occurred independently of the Central Plains culture.
Its writing, language, customs, and political system are all very different from those in the Central Plains.
In addition, the mountains are isolated and it is basically impossible to communicate with each other.
The Bashu script has not yet been deciphered, and there are still ongoing disputes over the cultural connotations of those heavy bronze vessels of the Sanxingdui Civilization.
The barriers and differences between the two cultures are evident.
The so-called Zhou Dynasty's "Two out of three parts of the world" certainly had the support of most states in the "world" that was understood at that time.
But the "world" at that time did not seem to include the real Shu land.
