Chapter 1,622 Top Royal Artwork

Many people like Yuan blue and white, especially the suma-liqing blue and its rough painting style.

It represents the Yuan Dynasty that conquered the world and is also a world-class royal artwork.

Precisely because the Middle East and the Tu Kingdom are the destinations for sales of Yuan blue and white flowers, it is not surprising that more Yuan blue and white flowers are hidden there.

The country sells excellent Yuan blue and white porcelain to the local area, and the local area sells the excellent Suma Liqing glaze to the country.

Then, better Yuan blue and white porcelain was fired, which can be said to complement each other and create the bright cultural symbol of Yuan blue and white porcelain.

Yin State and Tu State were one of the main export countries of these porcelains at that time.

Therefore, the batch of porcelain that Chen Wenzhe obtained has many of the same markings, patterns, and shapes as the Yuan blue and white pieces in the collections of the two countries.

The previous ones were large plates, but this one is the favorite local porcelain. In addition to large plates, there are also some large bowls.

For example, the large blue and white bowl with lotus pattern on the mouth is the largest blue and white bowl. Its size is extraordinary and extremely rare in the world.

The center of this bowl is painted with an upturned lotus flower, surrounded by white clouds, brocade inscriptions, ocean waves, etc.

The outer wall is painted with exquisite patterns such as lotuses and lotus branches, and the blue and white flowers and white spaces complement each other.

It's a pity that there are very few large bowls of this kind. In this batch of cellars, besides the large bowls, the remaining items are mostly bottles and cans.

For example, a pair of plum vases with peony patterns, 42 cm high, should be the most classic shape among Yuan blue and white flowers.

Others include a blue and white cloud and dragon pattern plum vase with a plate mouth and a diameter of 44.5 cm.

This dragon-patterned vase has a green dragon painted all over its body. It is so large that from a single angle, it can only be seen "from the head but not the tail" or "from the tail but not the head".

In addition to the dragon pattern plum vase, there is also a blue and white lotus pond with mandarin ducks and eight directions plum vase.

This plum vase is 40.5 centimeters high and is also a pair. Because of its uniqueness, these two eight-sided plum vase have become the only ones in the world.

In addition to plum vases, there are also blue, white, grass, insect, and flower gourd vases, which are larger in size and 60.5 cm high.

The last bottle is the tallest, a gourd bottle with a peony pattern, it is 70 centimeters high.

After looking at the bottles, there are not many jars left. Among them, the one that stands out for the price comparison is a Yuan blue and white cloud and dragon pattern animal ear lid jar (47 cm high).

This Yuan blue and white cloud-dragon-patterned animal ear lid jar has a maximum abdominal diameter of 32.6 cm, a diameter of 14.6 cm, and a bottom diameter of 18.2 cm.

The whole vessel has a magnificent and elegant charm, and is a rare representative work of Jingzhen blue and white porcelain from the Yuan Dynasty at home and abroad.

This large jar has a mouth for washing, broad shoulders, a wide belly, shallow round feet, and a pair of plastic animal heads on the shoulders.

There is a spout inside the lid, decorated with lotus buttons.

The whole vessel is covered with 12 layers of patterns, and the theme decorations on the chest and abdomen are clouds and dragons and twining peonies.

The remaining parts from the cover to the bottom are decorated with curly grass, miscellaneous treasures, lines, chords, loops, twining chrysanthemums and double lotus petals.

The sand bottom is not flat, accompanied by flint red spots, the edges are sharpened, and the bottom is hard.

This jar has a majestic and simple shape, elegant decoration, and intricate patterns but does not appear crowded.

The color is rich and green, slightly haloed, with dark spots appearing in dense areas, the glaze is smooth and green, and the line drawing is smooth and powerful.

The whole vessel has a magnificent and elegant charm, and is a rare representative work of Jingzhen blue and white porcelain from the Yuan Dynasty at home and abroad.

The large jar itself is a rare treasure among Yuan blue and white flowers, not to mention that the craftsmanship level of this one is very high.

Therefore, this large jar can be regarded as the highest level of craftsmanship and the most precious porcelain besides the plum vase.

Of course, in addition to the decent Yuan blue and white, Gao Qijing and the others also discovered a large number of other porcelains.

The most precious among them is definitely the Yuan Dynasty underglaze red porcelain.

For example, a Yuan Dynasty underglaze red goblet. This cup itself is a classic of the Yuan Dynasty, not to mention it is an underglaze red goblet.

This cup is 12.8 cm high and 10.4 cm in diameter.

This cup has an extravagant mouth, a deep bowl-shaped belly, and tall, thin legs that are shaped like bamboo joints.

The texture of the fetus is delicate, with green and white glaze, which gives it a warm and moist luster.

The inner side of the mouth is stamped with a pattern of patterns of plum blossoms and intertwining chrysanthemums.

The inner bottom and outer wall of the vessel are decorated with several underglaze red spots.

There is an obvious halo phenomenon around the colored spots, and the colors are bright and lively. Coupled with the green spots within the colored spots, they look natural, free and easy.

The lower part of the abdomen is piled with a sculpture of a chi dragon, bent and crawling.

The shape of this goblet is no different from the ordinary goblet popular in the Song and Yuan Dynasties.

If you observe carefully, you will find that the structure of the junction between the cup bottom and the ring foot is extremely strange.

The upper end of the ring foot is slightly retracted into a "mao", which fits into the small and large conical "tenon" at the top and bottom of the cup bottom. There is a gap between the two so that it can rotate.

A tumbler with a similar shape to this underglaze red goblet was unearthed in a cellar in Gao'an County, Xijiang. The only decoration is a pattern of broken chrysanthemums dotted with chrysanthemum petals.

These two stemmed tumblers are both ingeniously designed and well made. They are indeed rare treasures among wine vessels.

And this is not the most precious porcelain discovered this time. One of the jars with a Yuan glaze red lid should be regarded as one of the most precious porcelain.

This jar with underglaze red lid is 30.5 cm high and 13.5 cm in diameter.

Underglaze red refers to porcelain that uses copper red material to draw patterns on the body, then covers it with transparent glaze, and then fires it in a high-temperature reduction flame atmosphere, so that red patterns appear under the glaze.

It is a major breakthrough for the Jingzhen porcelain craftsmen of the Yuan Dynasty to further use copper-red glaze on the basis of the Jun kiln porcelain of the Song Dynasty.

Due to the difficulty of firing and low output, not many have been handed down or unearthed.

Even if there are some, they are usually mostly small devices, and this one is a large can.

Although the decoration on this jar is blurry, the contents can still be seen clearly.

Its glaze has a bright red color, which is really rare.

Viewed as a whole, this Yuan-glazed jar with a red lid is composed of a lid and a body. The lid looks like a general's crown, with a pointed round button on the top.

The entire surface of the vessel is covered with brownish-red underglaze paint, and the cover and shoulders are decorated with double-line petal patterns.

In the middle of the abdomen is a phoenix bird pattern, which is a fine piece of underglaze red.

It is a pity that there are only two Yuan Dynasty underglaze red works of this level.

The most pity is that there are no blue and white underglaze red works found here.

The Yuan blue and white porcelain discovered in this batch is either pure Yuan blue and white porcelain, or underglaze red porcelain. There is no high-quality blue and white underglaze red porcelain that combines the two.

This has to be said to be a regret, but after seeing other fine porcelain from the Yuan Dynasty, this regret became very small.

Based on clues, Gao Qijing and the others discovered three cellars in succession.

Except for a large jar in the canal, there are a large number of antiquities in the other two places.

In addition to the most classic Yuan blue and white porcelain, there are also some other types of porcelain.

For example, a pair of flat vases with double ears made of Yuan egg white glaze with dark flowers. This kind of glaze-colored porcelain has a pair of flat ears, which can be said to be rare.

This type of vessel can be regarded as a classic of Yuan Dynasty porcelain.

There are definitely not many classic vessels such as the egg white glaze dark flower amphora that have been passed down to the present.

What's more, this bottle is not small. The height of this flat bottle is 17.8 cm, the diameter is 3.2 cm, and the bottom diameter is 4.5 cm.
