Chapter 1624 Twelve pieces were broken

In the Yuan Dynasty, egg-white glazed utensils were mostly small items such as bowls, plates, and cups.

Among them, the small-footed, flat-bottomed, open-mouthed, deep-belted bent-waist bowls and the high-legged, open-mouthed, shallow-belted goblet are quite typical.

Sand and slag pads are often used when firing utensils, so there are many sand marks on the bottom and small reddish-brown spots in some places.

The inside and outside of the vessel are glazed, and the bottom of the ring foot is mostly unglazed, with a nail-like protrusion in the center of the bottom.

Bowls and plates are mostly in the shape of a large mouth and small feet. The mouth rim is thin and the ring foot is thick. The end of the ring foot is trimmed with an oblique knife, so the end of the foot is inclined.

Since egg white glaze porcelain is so precious, Chen Wenzhe naturally wanted to look for it carefully.

Don't tell me, once he got serious, he actually found a few more items, such as an egg white glazed four-legged incense burner.

This incense burner is 19.2 centimeters tall, with a white body and a warm and delicate egg white glaze.

On the furnace lid, there is a lion playing with a ball as a button.

The neck of the furnace body is decorated with a faintly visible chi tiger, and the belly is decorated with a molded plum blossom pattern.

The ears are simple and generous, and the four legs are firm and powerful in the shape of an animal head.

Unfortunately, there are only a few pieces of better egg white glazed porcelain.

There are a few other pieces left, but unfortunately they are damaged.

Of course, in addition to Yuan blue and white, underglaze red and egg white glazed porcelain, Gao Qijing and his colleagues also discovered many other Yuan Dynasty porcelains.

Because the porcelain was too dirty this time, I couldn't see clearly for a while.

But Chen Wenzhe was still able to identify some varieties through some characteristics. After all, he knew that these porcelains were probably produced in the Yuan Dynasty.

In this way, the time is determined within a small range, making the porcelain easier to identify.

Watching videos is always a bit troublesome, so it’s better to watch photos!

Therefore, Chen Wenzhe's speed in appraising this harvest was relatively slow.

However, he didn't have much to do, so he just needed to take his time.

On this day, he specially found some photos of the remaining weapons and compared them.

The gaps and fractures in the remaining pottery can reveal the internal condition of the porcelain, making it easier to see the internal condition of the porcelain, making it easier to identify.

He was looking over and over again when he didn't expect a loud noise coming from outside.

"Boss, someone sent a batch of things, saying they were harvested from the west. A large part of them are leftovers, and they want to be repaired here."

Chen Wenzhe was happy when he heard that the found treasure had been sent back.

Chen Wenzhe had already packed up a studio, and those treasures must be placed there.

Sure enough, when he arrived at the tightly guarded studio, the things here had been taken apart and placed in an orderly manner on the workbench.

Unfortunately, most of the porcelain here is damaged, and some are even broken.

This made Chen Wenzhe think of the very unfortunate national treasures unearthed in China.

In particular, a precious Yuan blue and white piece was actually destroyed during the discovery process.

That was when someone discovered a cache in the mountains, and a young man dug it out with a hoe, destroying the most precious item.

He stepped forward and took a look. Fortunately, the porcelain he had was not newly broken during the excavation, otherwise he would have been very unlucky.

However, this also reminded Chen Wenzhe of a cellar in Inner Mongolia.

This batch of his hoards seems to be related to Inner Mongolia.

This batch of porcelain seems to have been brought over from the grassland.

Originally these were supposed to be exported and sold to the West, but they were deliberately left in that temple.

Looking at the broken utensils in each room, I didn't expect that a blue and white flat pot was broken into pieces.

In mid-October 1972, when the production team members of Meiyaogou Natural Village, Qiandi Village, Prosperity Township, Inner Mongolia were leveling the land at the foot of a hillside, a villager named Wang suddenly dug out a large blue plate from the ground.

This large blue plate is very beautiful. There is a green dragon in the middle of the plate. The green dragon is very fierce with its fangs and claws. The plate is surrounded by patterns and branches.

The old farmer surnamed Wang picked up the plate and showed the working members that he had dug something good.

Everyone hurried over to take a look, and it turned out to be an extremely exquisite plate.

The crowd then dug deeper from where they found the plate.

At a depth of 1.5 meters from the ground, they dug out several more plates.

There was a young man in the village who was in his prime of life, and he was rushing to dig out these porcelains.

As a result, he dug out a beautiful flat pot with a hoe and broke it, so everyone asked him to stop digging.

A few old men carefully dug deep and dug out the side walls of the pit.

Once the side walls of the pit are dug, you no longer have to worry about digging out the contents inside.

There are many things in the pit, including porcelain.

Everyone was a little disappointed by this, because they thought they could dig up gold and silver, or even if they couldn't dig up ancient tombs, it would be good.

However, this is a pit. In a pit that is 1.8 meters long and 1.5 meters deep, all porcelain is buried.

There were more and more people watching, and some of them dug up porcelain and took it home.

Later, the production team leader came forward and transported all the excavated porcelain to the production team conference room to gather, and then reported the situation to the county cultural management committee.

After receiving the news reported by the team, experts from the County Cultural Management Committee immediately sent four experts to the village to investigate the situation of the unearthed cultural relics.

After the experts arrived in the village, they found that the place where the cultural relics were unearthed was at the foot of a hillside 800 meters away from the village, and there was a small river in front of the cellar.

The cellar pit has been destroyed by the villagers, and the blue bricks used to pave the cellar pit were carried back by the villagers to build the walls. There are some broken porcelain fragments in the cellar pit.

Some of the fragments were broken by hoes during excavation, and some were old and broken traces.

The things in the pit have been around for a very long time. No one knows what accidents will happen within such a long time.

Chen Wenzhe looked at the porcelain in the studio. There were 12 pieces of porcelain in total.

Chen Wenzhe inquired about it and found out that these were the best porcelain items to transport. After all, they were already broken and therefore not very safe, so they were sent here in advance.

As for those intact babies, they are all carefully cared for and are walking slowly on the road!

Chen Wenzhe took a closer look and found that there were 12 pieces of porcelain here that were blue and white, and they were typical blue and white porcelain from the Yuan Dynasty.

This batch of broken porcelain unearthed includes 7 Yuan blue and white pieces, including 3 plates, 3 cups and 1 flat pot.

Others include a dragon-patterned goblet, a celadon-glazed peony flower plate, a rust flower pot, and a gray-glazed pot each.

1 piece of blue and white goblet, which was broken when dug out.

All that's left of this goblet is the cup base and a small piece of porcelain underneath.

However, at this time, you can still see a chrysanthemum in the center of the bottom of the cup, with lush branches and leaves.

The goblet cup has a thick body, a hard texture, and a delicate glaze, with white and blue flashes, and the blue and white colors are distinct in shades.

Because this object is damaged, its full appearance cannot be clearly seen.

1 piece of blue and white flat pot. This blue and white flat pot is quite a pity because the mouth was already smashed when it was unearthed.

Fortunately, the mouth part is attached, so the overall shape can still be seen clearly.
