Chapter 171 Make a big profit (1000

"Look, this is a typical Longquan kiln. The various colors fired in Longquan kiln are all adjusted and fired. From moon white, pink green, to plum green, the transition of the three colors is very natural.

, it can be said to be an absolute master level.”

Looking at the tiles on the desk, or rather the color palette, Chen Wenzhe was filled with wonder and, of course, more surprises.

This is really classic enough. He knew that the iron contained in purple gold soil could change the color of the glaze, but he didn't expect that the ancients had already studied everything clearly.

By now, many craftsmen who have studied Longquan kiln know that when the iron content of the carcass is certain, the glaze color will deepen with the increase of the iron content, so there are different glazes such as moon white, pink green, plum green and so on.

Glaze color.

But it is not easy to truly prepare the three most classic glaze colors.

Knowing how to mix it and being able to make it are completely different things.

Chen Wenzhe knew that the opportunity was rare, so after seeing the palette, he did not hesitate to get it.

He made no unnecessary movements, just sat on a chair and caressed the palette.

At the same time, he initiated independent inheritance.

The inheritance is activated, and more inheritance is obtained this time.

He even saw the origin and process of Longquan kiln, and experienced it personally.

The rise of Longquan kiln originated from the decline of Yue kiln.

The Nayue kiln was very prosperous in the Tang Dynasty, but due to the depletion of raw materials and increasing taxes, it was at the end of its power in the Northern Song Dynasty.

The latest Yue kiln wares discovered overseas are from the Northern Song Dynasty, which also shows that after the Northern Song Dynasty, Yue kilns no longer produced high-quality porcelain.

New civilization is always built on the ruins of old civilization.

The Yue kiln declined, but the demand for celadon still existed, and it was replaced by the Yaozhou kiln in the north and the Longquan kiln in the south.

At that time, a group of Yue kiln craftsmen migrated south and arrived in Longquan in the early Northern Song Dynasty.

When this team of Yue kiln craftsmen first arrived in Longquan, they saw the following environment: there was plenty of firewood in the mountainous area; there was a river for convenient water transportation; there was porcelain clay of good quality; and most importantly, there was a kiln.

Many ancient famous kilns originated in mountainous areas, such as Jian, Jingzhen, Yaozhou, Dehua and other kilns, not because mountainous areas are suitable for porcelain firing, but because there is not enough arable land in mountainous areas, and farmers have to engage in side jobs to supplement their families.

The ancestors of Longquan have been making porcelain before. One theory is that it started in the Three Kingdoms, and another is that in the Five Dynasties. They lived a pastoral life of "ploughing when the farm is busy, and making pottery when the farm is idle, so what do I have from the imperial power?"

There are no physical objects of the products from that time, and they are probably ordinary daily utensils.

It was not until the professional porcelain workers of Yue Kiln joined the team that Longquan became the largest celadon producing area in history.

The development of Longquan Kiln can be divided according to dynasties. The Northern Song Dynasty was the rising stage, and there are still many shadows of Yue Kiln;

The Southern Song Dynasty reached its technical peak and formed its own style;

The inheritance Chen Wenzhe received came from the Southern Song Dynasty.

Longquan kiln had many branches in the later period, and many kiln entrances had a legendary founder who was regarded as a god by later generations of kiln workers.

For example, De Yinghou of Yaozhou Kiln, Lin Bing of Dehua Kiln, and Zhao Gai of Jingzhen Kiln.

Longquan kiln is owned by two brothers, Zhang Shengyi and Zhang Shenger.

The Zhang brothers represent the two branches of Longquan kiln.

Zhang Shengyi founded Ge Kiln, which fired celadon in pieces (i.e. cut into pieces), and Zhang Shenger founded Di Kiln in which celadon could not be cut into pieces.

Today's Longquan porcelain workers still admire the Zhang brothers very much and divide Longquan porcelain into Ge kiln and Di kiln.

To put it simply, celadon with an iron body that has openings is a Ge kiln, and celadon with a white body without openings is a Di kiln.

The iron tire is made by mixing a kind of purple gold clay with a high iron content into white porcelain clay to set off the glaze color by deepening the color of the porcelain body.

This is the inheritance that Chen Wenzhe wants, and this is also the origin of that palette.

Naturally, Chen Wenzhe learned how to mix three glaze colors, or even multiple glaze colors.

I learned all three of the most classic Longquan glaze colors: moon white, pink green, and plum green, all at once, and I also learned a lot of techniques for using purple gold clay.

In fact, these are not important. What is important is that he learned some Ge kiln porcelain firing techniques.

This shows that it is not unreasonable for Longquan kiln to be regarded as Ge kiln.

According to modern archaeological excavations, in the Southern Song Dynasty kiln site of Longquan kiln, the type of iron-mounted porcelain pieces accounted for about one-tenth. This is evidence of the Longquan Ge kiln, but the output was not large.

Chen Wenzhe doesn't care about these things. What he cares most about is inheritance, and his inheritance includes, in addition to the color mixing formulas of the three glaze colors, the firing process of Di Kiln.

This inheritance can be said to be very profitable. Not only did I get the classic glaze color formula of Longquan kiln, but I also got the firing techniques of Ge kiln and Di kiln.

Especially Di Yao, many skills have reached the master level.

Engraving, decals, and printing are all at the master level, and printing is the printing base. Before coming to the museum, he had the urge to upgrade the printing base technology to the master level. Fortunately, he did not upgrade. Now he has inherited it all by himself.

Reached the master level.

Looking at the attribute list, in terms of porcelain production, two branches, Ge Kiln and Di Kiln, have been added. The firing level of Ge Kiln is Specialization Level 2, while the firing level of Di Kiln is Master Level 3.

"Classmate, classmate, what's wrong with you!"

"Ah? It's okay. I feel the craftsmanship of the ancients and I'm a little distracted!"

"You are so awesome. You were distracted for more than ten minutes. Are you paying attention? Look, it's time for us to go out."

"Let's go, keep an eye on it!"

Chen Wenzhe took his hands away from the palette, but his eyes did not leave the palette.

This thing is a treasure, but it's a pity that he can't get it.

When I have free time, I will make another one!

I made a wish, but the system didn't respond at all.

It seems like I haven’t gotten a mission for a long time. Is it because I haven’t completed the inheritance mission?

He walked out of the museum with a puzzled look on his face. He originally planned to take a taxi, but unexpectedly Professor Tao's driver stopped him.

"Classmate Chen, Professor Tao arranged for me to take you back."

"No, I'm going to the Antique City. I have something to do there. After finishing the matter, I'll go back by myself."

"Then I'll take you to the Antique City!"

The driver was very enthusiastic and had to pull Chen Wenzhe over. Chen Wenzhe had no choice but to get in the car.

"Classmate Chen, are you going shopping?" the driver asked curiously on the way.

"My elder brother has opened a store in the Antique City. I'll go over and have a look."

Chen Wenzhe didn't intend to hide it at first, but from now on, his eldest brother will mainly look after the store. It's not wrong to say that it is his eldest brother who opened it. This will save trouble.

"An antique shop?"

The driver was a middle-aged man in his forties who was quite talkative. Chen Wenzhe knew that he was a relative of Professor Tao.

"Yes, it's just opened. I'll go over and help. I'll go back at noon."

"This is not easy! Professor Tao also likes antiques, but it is difficult to buy real things in the antique city."

"I still have a few real things at home. I wonder what Professor Tao likes?"

"Bronze, this seems to have something to do with porcelain, I don't understand either."
